Oh shoot, somehow my over-eagerness level returned and i totally missed your reply. But as i will never be tired of saying... better late than never. :sweet:

Regarding your question, while Cad Bane is definitely among my favorite characters and i am looking forward to the reveal for sure, other than Jedi Bob's Starfighter, i wasn't too eager about all other RTG sets. So it's more of a wait and see approach for me. Even though it would not be the first Snowspeeder i primarily got for an exclusive minifig... the 20th anniversary one says hi. :innocent:

However, seeing you already brought up this topic, i wanna elaborate by saying: i stopped holding out hope that the most recent Cad Bane from the unjustifiable Justifier set would be cheaply released elsewhere in an advent calendar, a magazine, microfighter, as a key chain etc. So i jumped the gun and brick linked this thing of beauty last month. It's my first Cad Bane minifigure and i am very happy with it.

How about you... Got any minifigure that is near and dear to you? Anything in particular you still want to add to your collection? :smug:

No problem!

That's fair- never a bad idea to wait and see.

Unjustifiable Justifier is a pretty good label for it. Very strange set idea.

Oh yeah. Me and @CloneCommando99 are both pretty big Mara fans. There are a few figs out there I'd like a good deal but don't own due to the price (Cal's a favorite of mine, and Zeb would be nice to complete the rebels crew), but Mara's the main one that has never been officially made. I'd also like a mandalorian in bright red- the only red mandalorians we've had so far are the black and dark red evil Mauldalorians, and I'd like a normal/good mando in normal lego red. It's not really a specific character, but I love the mandalorian culture/archtype and I like the color red, so I wish they had a red one that wasn't a Maul guy.

We actually never had a trans-orange 4L bar, only trans-neon orange ones, so this would be more than welcome!

I've been vocal about considering OCs the worst possible SW minifigs, but this would be a good way to "fix them"- including parts or prints that have some extra value in the SW community. Maybe we put Dev in a Jedi Survivor cosmetic or something.

Ahsoka Season 2 concept art has me pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think Thrawn was going to get screen time as Ahsoka, the main protagonist, is no longer in proximity plot-wise to him. We had better get Gilad and Karyn up on the Chimera’s bridge this season. And hopefully Thrawn calls the Ascendancy for aid (I’d pay good money to see Ronan’s reaction to the Death Star blowing up twice)

Oh. The realisation just hit me that the double death troopers were probably Pik and Waffle. RIP.

It makes me optimistic that 2026 will be an Imperial renaissance (just hopefully with a decent number of generic forces alongside the Night Sister assassins.) But I’m still fearful that Andor Season 2 sets won’t be part of it.

Also Zeb and some NR soldiers appear to be fighting on Dathomir. If only there was some force sensitive ally who has endured the hardships of the planet first hand, with a thorough database of the fauna and a Night Sister waifu to help them. Otherwise they’re cooked.

Nothing will. Darkseid Mara is.

I've gotta go find all this concept art this all sounds excellent.

Noooo!

I don't think it's impossible- I know there were rumors they wanted to finish Jedi 3 before bringing him into the "new beyond" era/universe, but Jedi 3 has been in development for quite awhile now- IIRC we know they've been recording voicelines for literal years- and Ahsoka's just starting to film S2 now. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jedi 3 story had been written before Ahsoka S2's writing was done, and similarly that a Jedi 3 game could be out before Ahsoka S2.

If we've got Jaxxon I imagine we see a number of the sillier ones- Mount Sorrow, Skippy the Jedi Droid, that sort of thing.

Zero company trailer looks excellent. I want every single one of that squad as well as their ship. Very cool idea to have these guys be some sort of shadow ops/morally grey group, explaining why they aren't just made of clones and jedi and allowing for some interesting designs.

Yeah, this is how i roll with many Lego Star Wars sets these days. Going from the numerous leaks, i want to (and do) like a lot of them. And every so often i know i will get something sooner rather than later. But due to some unreasonable price increases over the last couple of years, ever so rarely is it a day one purchase anymore. So most sets will be bought by the usual discounts. Thankfully, you basically get 30%+ off of every widely available set at my location in no time. So if the quality standard is to my liking and the set fits my collection thematically as well, you never have to worry about getting to your preferred price point.

Oh, i thought and still think the set idea was kinda neat. I mean, i like fresh ships as much as the next person. But the actual execution of that mega monstrosity left a lot to be desired. To me, it highlights the problematic circumstances of prices being decided before the products themselves get made. Because let's be real... The Justifier was neither in size nor in popularity be fit for the flagship set of the 2022 summer wave. I am not even blaming the Lego group designers that much. They try their best with the hands they have been dealt. This is more of an so-called "something something big business company does big business things TM something something" problem.

Oh yes, how could i forget your constant goshing about Mara Jade Skywalker. Your chances of laying your eyes upon this officially made minifigure might be approximately 3.720 to 1, but maybe stranger things have happened. The dark side of doing bricks business is a pathway to many design decisions. Some of them i wholeheartedly consider to be unnatural. :shrug_oh_well:

Ninth Jedi is getting it's own show. Which is great, it was the most worthy of them. Maybe with a full show it might get sets? Though 2026 is getting pretty chock-a-block with new stuff.

Wait. Does that mean it’s being canonised? Or was it already a canon exception to Visions like the Homelander episode in The Boys: Diabolical?

Wow, 30% off is really nice for newer sets. It'd definitely make it a lot easier to stomach some of the star wars set prices these past few years.

Of course- it's a neat ship but it is not nearly well known enough to be a flagship for an august wave. Either lego was given outdated information about the Justifier's role in TBB, or some executive was really banking on Cad Bane being the single most desirable figure of all time.

Yup. We just got Malak last year. However the odds may be, there's always hope.

Fell to my knees reading this. Greatest announcement since they announced that Fallen Order would be a trilogy. I doubt it'll get sets, but I don't care, I'll purist MOC everyone on screen if I have to, that was the best thing to come out of animated star wars since the Siege of Mandalore, it's an excellent place to take the franchise.

I think it can't be canon given the setting and circumstances unless it's in another galaxy and/or radically removed timeline wise. I assume it means this is our first non-anthology Legends TV show produced since the creation of the current canon.

Ah. So the timelines might not quite work out, but either way, close enough that there might be enough wiggle room for a small role.

As much as I like the deltas, yup, these guys have more of a rogue aura and work better for this type of game- I would not be able to play X-com with everyone wearing the same suit of armor with just different colored stripes to distinguish them. Every single one of these guys is bursting with unique character- even the two clones gave off different vibes in just the two minute trailer we had. And everyone looks SICK. The design they went with for the jedi gives him a rogue and menacing feel you couldn't accomplish with a more humanoid face- we know the jedi in general are moral paragons, so giving it a more alien feel helps to add some ambiguity and fear to it's vibe. Also really like the human- from the poster I was getting Cassian vibes, and while that would have been pretty cool, I'm loving this sort of grizzled cowboy accent and speech pattern he's got going on. Sort of reminds me of the cowboy from the SWTOR trailer back in the day.

It's crazy that for how many characters it has, your list could be effectively completed in just four sets (larger canon imperial set, smaller HTTE set, Delta Squad set, JFO set)

The Tie Avenger and an Army Trooper/ stormtrooper BP for it to strafe (based off what appears to be Rebel Moon planet but better) is currently my biggest hope for January 2026. Make the build for the BP the riot speeder from the S1 finale and the Empire’s 2 year ground force shortage (Lego-wise) would be over just like that.

MARA JADE and Starkiller are my unlikely hopes. But Jek-14 and Rowan Freemaker are characters who I realistically hope show up.

I fear what’s happened to Obi-Wan in this universe if Ahsoka’s a Brickheadz. Did he turn into his 2017 construction figure?

If any character is gonna get the constraction figure treatment in Rebuild the Galaxy, I'm predicting it'll be Jyn Erso, that way they could technically have another tie-in set still on shelves by the time it airs.

That's a wrap on celebration. Lots of cool stuff for Lego to ignore and make the same old repeats and ton of 18+ sets.

Next one is in LA 2027, I doubt I'll go but I'm sure someone else here will.

They did say it wouldn't be canon ( or canon to the legends continuity), just it's own thing. Though TBH it's pretty easy to head canon it as being part of canon just a different point in the timeline after the reinvention of lightsaber avdvfew other things, like an era of post decline re-emergence.

Not Legends; that's a specific continuity. This show is non-canon (like the infinities and some tales comics, and videogame alternate endings). Blame whoever made the decision to name the official canon "Canon" (with a capital C); that's caused a lot of confusion I think. Got Canon canon, Legends canon and non-canon (plus the old tier system).

Please please please LEGO I am begging for that battle pack. I do have a decent group of 32 Army Troopers (bought 30 of the Han Solo torso from 75211 back when it was available on BaP and gave them AT-ST driver heads, and got a couple more in bundles after that) but some more diversity in battle damage would be nice if nothing else.

Don't really care for stormtroopers personally as I've already got rather a lot of them lol. Would prefer something harder to get like a Range Trooper (of course, if I had my way we'd be getting full battlepacks for all of the Rogue One and Solo trooper designs, especially Mimban Stormies and Shoretroopers).

A battle pack like that and of course the TIE Avenger should've been the most glaringly obvious things for them to make from Andor, I think even moreso than the Fondor as much as I would also like that.

I only Caught one Clone in the main group they showed off.

It's was : Hawks - A disgraced former republic officer, Trick - A grizzled Clone who served under Hawk, Luca - an Umbaran Sniper who hates the republic, Tel - a padawan who wants to complete her former masters last mission at any cost, Cly - A Mando gunslinger with a vendetta, and then the Astromech droid and the pilot droid. They did say there were more characters and that they were all very customisable and you could have custom characters too but I don't remember seeing another clone.

Looks like a good varied selection of characters. I will get my own Poncho-less Cal soon. The 2014 Santa Vader was among my final christmas figures. Liking those occasional goofy figures. Can never go wrong with Commander Cody either.

In regards to most wanted minifigures, i wanna get the other two Cad Bane minifigures without having to sell a kidney or something. And i would like to see a greater variety of imperial troopers in general. How about finally getting the aforementioned Purge Troopers? But also getting Shoretroopers, Range Troopers, Death Troopers again. Would not say no to more OT Battle Packs! Other than that, bring on more Alien species with specialized molds. I am a sucker for all these obscure characters. Makes the baseplate much more vibrant as well.

This is diabolical, and since it criticizes a set from almost a decade ago and Big Chewie is showing up, I honestly think it could happen. I'm not expecting lego to make any jokes about how everything is 18+ now or all the clones, but I think they're able to poke fun at themselves when it comes to stuff like Jyn literally still being on shelves in malls across the country. I've seen them myself as recently as last year, and not at secondhand/thrift stores either, a row of her MISB alongside 2023/24 sets.

I‘m still mad at them for not creating a set based on the finale of TBoBF. Boba riding a Rancor while fighting Cad Bane, a battalion of Pyke soldiers, and a pair of giant droids, with support from Krrsantan, Mando & Grogu, and they just ignore it??

I‘ve never before seen a scene in a SW project that screamed this hard to be made into a set! …until Andor came along, which manages to get shafted even twice. First the Fondor, and now the TIE Avenger (?) :hmpf_bad:

I don‘t want to complain too much since a lot of shows got excellent coverage (Mando, Ahsoka, and Kenobi in particular), but others just get the bare minimum (Andor, Skeleton Crew, TBoBF) or nothing at all (Acolyte).

I get it, new projects are always riskier than established ones, but come on, some of these would obviously sell well!

Yeah, i was glad about Omeeeeeega's inclusion in the calendar.

As far as the 25th anniversary was concerned, you got no gungans. No standard Jar Jar Binks. Boss Nass? Ha, no chance! But Darth Jar Jar? Sure thing. Sometimes i can not stand the fact that TPM anniversary is always overlapping with the Lego Star Wars one. Which is ironic, because they actually did plenty of TPM sets last year. It's not like Lego forgot about it. It's just more of the format issue affecting a year that could have been much better for TPM fans. Now you probably have to wait half a decade again just to get this single shot. :hmpf:

In general, I was just wanting more SW animal figs - even remakes.

That's a wrap on celebration. Lots of cool stuff for Lego to ignore and make the same old repeats and ton of 18+ sets.

I snorted reading this  Unfortunately I do think the increased volume of buildables is here to stay.

Celebration was fun, can’t say the queues were great in principle but they were an excellent opportunity to meet lots of great people. The Lego booth had the logo and RotS Brickheadz sets in stock early, but not the U-Wing and Chopper as expected. I’ll reiterate the logo is a fantastic build, but still seems pointless.

I echo everyone’s desire to see a TIE Avenger next year (was lucky enough to get into the Andor panel and they screened the first episode of Season 2, loved it!). However, I strongly think Lego deliberately chose to make K2 rather than the Avenger because heaven forbid we don’t have more sculptures clogging up this theme. I would love to be proven wrong.

I’m very excited for what was announced and hope Lego has the sense to at least try and cover some of it in playset form moving forward. The lack of any Jedi sets still really irks me. Given how slow this year has been in terms of content, I would have hoped Lego would have used it as an opportunity to catch up on sets / material people have been asking for rather than commit to the clone bit entirely.

Also, welcome @BrickPrick! Glad to have you on board, we have a great bunch on this forum :sweet:

I think a molded Bantha would be cool

Honestly I think it's kinda weird that they did Dewback before Bantha ( multiple different times too).

2 book of Boba sets could've given us a Bantha and a Rancor.

Have a Scorpinek battle with a Rancor and the Tusken camp with a Bantha and speeders.

I was in the same room as you then . Agreed on Andor S2 and the Tie Avenger.
