JohnTPT17 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 New moulded Mushu photos with the 43267 Friends set. He looks... very "Friends" to me. Might need to see a better picture to decide if I'll want him. Quote

All right, that's it. Dishonor! Dishonor on your whole family! 1 hour ago, OttoRiver said: Holy crap, a molded Mushu! Hope he comes in a smaller set down the line though or he will probably cost about half the set price. Quote

karrit Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Frozen 2 has Bruni for Elsa. Gus the mouse for Cinderella. Raya had TukTuk. Wish has Asha's pet goat Valentino. Quote
JeanGreyForever Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Cinderella's Castle & Horse Carriage set also features a new Lucifer. One that's way less cartoony and fits in with the other animal molds like Flounder, Sebastian, Patch, Simba, Eeyore, Dumbo, and Bambi. I wish we got an updated Gus though. He has a hole in his head, presumably to fit a hat, but in all the years that Lego's been making him, they've never given him his hat. His shirt is also the wrong color and should be green instead of yellow. Lego finally fixed Cinderella's hair to better match her hair color in the 4K restoration but not yet Gus' shirt. Also find it odd that Lego keeps reusing Gus over and over and has never made Jaq. Quote

Hopefully his face doesn't have the same discoloration issue past versions of him have struggled with. Quote
JeanGreyForever Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Classic Bo Peep was long overdue. So happy her sheep are included as well after being snubbed in the TS4 sets. Quote
Tariq j Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Yeah that Bo Peep figure looks great and I like that they’ve done Buzz’s spaceship box as well. I don’t mind the train or the car but I do hope we get some non 4+ sets when TS5 rolls out. Quote
Aramar Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Bo Peep looks great. I'm not so sure about the sheep though. This is a good set for new collectors since the 4 main characters are included in the same cheap set. Quote
RichardGoring Posted May 1 Posted May 1 The Toy Story train looks great. My daughter has just had a great time building the Celebration Train, so I'm definitely up for getting this one. The new advent calendar has just leaked. I had hoped they'd focus on fewer movies which should make it better and be more focused, and they've done that making it all Frozen, but it's still microdolls, and few of the builds feel good, which is such a shame. Glad I picked up last years on clearance ready for this December. The new one just doesn't appeal at all. Quote
Murdoch17 Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I REALLY wish that Cruella's car had been posted or at least leaked... but alas: not yet. I guess I'll have to be patient. Quote

They posted on reddit that the other themes will be shown today so they wait shouldn´t be to long. Though also might depend on where you life, for some it will likely be tomorrow by then, like in Europe. Quote

Anyways it is strange that they already showed the Advents Calendars, and especially all on their onw instead of together with the rest of the theme. Quote
OttoRiver Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) For those holding out hope, turns out Baby Elephant in the Sky is just a...literal baby elephant...in the sky. So no Dumbo set And depending on your feeling towards the Friends style of animals, Figaro is another unexpected character. Edited May 2 by OttoRiver added info Quote

hikouki Posted May 2 Posted May 2 They are releasing that Minnie’s pet hotel, which is a 4+ set. I thought that was pretty “random“ since they stopped releasing “Mickey and friends“ themed sets from a while back. Quote
JeanGreyForever Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Was it confirmed if the Cruella set is a minidoll or minifigure one? I suppose it doesn't really matter since we already have a Cruella minifigure. 1 hour ago, Aramar said: I just saw it. I don't like that Figaro, to me it looks just like any cat. The Lucifer we hit recently looks better. Same, it's a really bad depiction of him. They did such a great job with the new Lucifer which makes this Figaro even more disappointing. Lego Disney is always hit or miss. Quote
BacktoBricks Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) Just watched Tiago's review of both the new set of two cheaper Dalmatian puppies and the 18+ puppy and honestly they are both great sets. The smaller puppies, whilst clearly outdone by the larger set in terms of accuracy, are still incredibly cute and highly playable. The TV build is the only thing that is a miss for me, because whilst I like the movie scene, the puppies are dwarfed by the television in the movie, whereas the television build in the set is tiny compared to them. Even the included bone is bigger than the television so that aspect just seems weird. The larger set is even better in my opinion. As I suspected the pose can be switched from standing to crouching by simply switching the back and front legs. But the set also comes with extra pieces so you can change the design of the puppy to have symmetrical colour ears or eye patches in either black or white depending on preference. There are also multiple stickers so you can choose which puppy name to go on the collar and pieces to make the collar either red or blue. Both the body design of the larger set and the fact that there are a cheaper and more expensive puppy options clearly mimic the previously released Simba builds and Tiago credits Marcos Bessa as the designer of these sets as well as the Simbas. That being said, it's a fantastic set to showcase Marcos' design skills, but it makes me sad all over again that he's no longer a Lego designer. I got back in to Lego with his Ewok Village set and have always loved his designs. Whilst I have no idea where I would put it and have been sticking exclusively to minifigure collecting, I am seriously tempted to buy the larger puppy. Edited May 7 by BacktoBricks Quote
