BTW, I also saw this on Reddit, (credit goes to No-Hovercraft-4277), They used this Nexo Knights piece on the Thing, and IDK about you all, but I think it looks good. But before I buy the piece, does anyone else here think it works for The Thing?

I think it's the best option we have, and works out pretty nicely. (The gap in the armor for the 4 symbol, the shoulders helping hide how weird his arms look with the hulk hands on and making it just seem like he's got thicker arms overall)

It's still not something that would get me to buy the figure, though, as big of a fan of Thing as I am.

The one thing I dislike about getting leaks that early (the Spiderverse CMF) is that the wait until release / more info is agonizing :'( really curious to see all of them up close and in detail, I wonder if we have secondary faces on the maskless heads!

I should hope so. Though I suppose some of the hairs/masks might not cover them so those would lack them.

Actually thinking about it, we've already seen that Gwen does indeed have 2 expressions, so I'm assuming its the same for most of the rest if indeed the hairpiece covers it

Looks like this will be a veery popular set - before I could pre-order mine, my usual retailer has already closed all pre-orders.

Marvel Brickverse https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-marvel-brickverse-teased-2025-and-2026/

Not sure what my thoughts are in this. Does this mean more sets? Does it mean good sets? Just a branding exercise?

The little trailer on marvels YouTube was fun but nothing significant jumping out at me as new or upping my excitement.

From the way they described it, it sounds like they're going to be focusing more on the playsets based on buildings mentioned in the article. Which is cool! But also seems like the way the future of the line was pointing anyway lol. From what I've seen those sets seem pretty popular, with fun builds, play features, easter eggs, and novel figures, so it only made sense they'd start to focus on those, and I guess they wanted to emphasize that just because the sets are based on different Marvel "Earths" (movies, mainline comics 616, new Ultimate 6160, etc), that doesn't mean they can't cross over and facilitate play? Maybe we'll start to see them treat the theme more like their original properties, with a larger focus on collectible mcguffins and/or the opportunity to assemble a team of specific good guys v bad guys? Guess we'll see

I hope this means Lego’s going to start pumping out as many different characters as possible.

I want new versions of: Deadpool, Nova, Iron Fist, Luke Cage/ power man, Dr Doom, White Tiger, Ms Marvel and Daredevil.

I also want Sentry, US Agent, Psylocke, Emma Frost, Hercules, X-23, Scarlet Spider (Kaine), Apocalypse,  Mr Sinister, Jeff, LockJaw, Blackbolt, Captain Britain, Invincible (technically a Marvel character), Pastepot Pete, Buried Alien..

I like the sound of the Marvel Brickverse.

It kind sounds like my own desires for a Marvel layout and I think it has a lot of potential.

I like this idea. Treating it all as one linked Lego marvel universe but with lots of variants, costumes and characters would be right up my street. A few of the new Spidey sets seem like a good step forward.

Hopefully lots of new minifigs. To be honest I would just be grateful for lots more Lego marvel content. Spiderverse cmf, plus doomsday sets over next couple of years plus brick verse. Positive news hopefully

I don't think the Brickverse thing is an actual subtheme or anything that will result in different sets being produced, it seems like more of a marketing thing like the 'She Built That' tagline on some of the Friends standees.

Speaking of 'She Built That', I'm really hoping they include Ironheart's MK 4 or 5 suits it if they ever make one more Disney+ CMF series. The series was barely on my radar but there's something about Riri and her constant regrettable decisions that made her a really interesting lead to me.

Brickiverse just seems like a marketing tactic to encourage people to buy both movie and comic sets. Probably doesn’t bode well for anyone (me) hoping for more comic variants of existing characters.

According to @Lego_Minecraft_Goat, the three Spidey sets are:

  • 11206 Spidey on his Motorcycle vs Rhino ($9.99)
  • 11207 Spidey: Underwater Vehicles ($34.99)
  • 11208 Team Spidey Pirate Ship ($59.99)

Fingers crossed for a handful of new character or variants! The sets will surely introduce a new tricorn piece for the three protagonists :sweet: While their hats will definitely not be useful for any other setting with those colour schemes and the logos, the piece itself might come in handy later!

I’m guessing we’ll see Jeff the Shark and the Thing in the Spidey and his friends sets. They have the new mould for the Thing so guessing they’ll want to use it again

I almost hope Jeff isn't in this one, he seems to have a pretty different design from Rivals in this show and there's no way we get two Jeff molds anytime soon.

Jeff from Spidey is basically his comic design, not that the Rivals design is much different.

I know 4+ sets have their own budgets and all, yet I can’t help but lament how great it would be if mainline Superheroes sets had enough budget for new minifigure moulds the way the Spidey and His Amazing Friends sets do.

Saying that, there is the Spider-Verse CMF so I shouldn’t complain.

The difference is quite striking with 2-4 new parts for each Spidey wave, but as you say, 4+ sets kinda live in their own dimension  An overall higher budget for Marvel and DC would be more than welcome, but the peak of the comic book movie hype is well behind us, I’m afraid :shrug_oh_well:

Exabricks has posted some of the Marvel sets on their insta.

We are getting Venomized Wolverine :jollyroger:

I’m also amazed at the number of Ghost Rider sets we’ve gotten given he has yet to appear in the MCU.

Please, Lego Venom, ruler of the Lego superhero theme, let 76341-76344 be X-men sets.

So much for thinking this year’s summer wave meant a return to form for Spider-Man sets that weren’t repetitive and actually made sense

A cheap Ghost Rider bike is a great set idea at least.

Yeahhhhhh…. Maybe next summer! :shrug_oh_well: The rest of the 1HY list surely consists mostly of Infinity Saga sets ^^

100%! At this point we know to expect the good stuff during the summer, and the ‘filler’ stuff during the winter.

I do wonder why yet more Spider-Man cars and mechs get greenlit year after year though. Plus (presumably) the same old Spider-Man / Miles Morales / Spider-Gwen minifigures being endlessly recycled too. I suppose the sales numbers speak for themselves.
