Lego_ofme Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) Ooo I like that figure, human torch minifig in red surely coming in doomsday sets. I guess it will depend on how well the film and Lego set do £wise. Has anyone in UK seen F4 Galactus Lego out early anywhere? Be good to get it tomorrow or Saturday before Sunday! Spider-Punk looks great. Love the hairpiece. Might have to get two - masked and unmasked! Edited May 30 by Lego_ofme Quote

All we needed was the F4 torso recolored in red as the BARE MINIMUM, but now we have to hope that they listen for the Doomsday sets. Keeping in mind Reeds torso was the same but without that white print, a red recolour just seems on brand When it comes to talking about a flamed on Human Torch, do we reckon the Ghost Rider/pumpkin bomb headpiece, or a recolour of the Hawkeye hair? I'm sure there's probably some thug or mechanic in a hypothetical upcoming City set that could reuse that hair in red On 5/29/2025 at 8:59 PM, Lego_ofme said: Spider-Punk looks great. I just hope I get lucky, I had to endure a lot of Agathas, Beasts, Echoes and Storms before I wound up with a Moon Knight. With that luck in mind I'm sure I'll have plenty of Sun Spiders, Cowboy Spidey and Peter B Parker (this is assuming he'll have his dressing gown, limiting use for any duplicates) Exciting to know at very least the significant characters will be getting unmasked heads and hair to accompany. Hoping Miguel's alternate face shows his vampire side Before the rest of the leaks come forward, what accessories do we predict to see included with the characters? Quote

The Ghost Rider/pumpkin bomb piece like what they with Firestorm would be the cleanest look for Johnny, but I wouldn't mind the spiky hair in red either. Personally for me, I have the flame dome headpiece ready because I always liked how it has some flames sticking out on the top, and you can use any head for it instead of the Ghost Rider style of head where it's permanently stuck together. Works really well and you can scan multiple boxes at once to do it quickly. The Marvel cmf 2 must have been one of the only boxed series where the contents were completely blind. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Hobie looks amazing. I particularly love the mask, it's such a good print. Can't wait to see more. Hopefully it leaks pretty soon; CMFs usually leak much earlier than regular sets. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 31 Posted May 31 If all the minifigs are on this level, we‘re in for a treat! Glad we‘re getting both masked and unmasked versions! Hopefully they do that for all of the characters we actually see unmasked Quote

Forget giving Ben and Sue alternate torso prints, they couldn't be bothered to run a different color of torsos under the machine printing the Reed ones. I'd prefer the former but if we ever get it I'm sure it'll be the 2015 era hawkeye hair in red since that already exists. 15 hours ago, TheBatstan said: ANYTHING would be better than slapping some fire pieces on the feet and power blast pieces in the hands and thinking that that would be even close to satisfactory. Yup. This isn't flame-on Johnny, this is 2005 chris evens making popcorn with his hands johnny. Yeah I think the ghost rider head is the best choice, but like you say, anything would be better than what we got. 11 hours ago, THELEGOBATMAN said: Hobie looks amazing. It almost doesn't look lego to me, they did a good job capturing how he looks different then the environments we see him in. I'm not even a big Hobie fan and looking at the fig I feel like I can see his suit changing colors and glitching in and out. I've been pretty critical of the figure selection, but even if only around half the characters are ones I think deserved slots, they'll all look excellent. Quote

zoth33 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Series looks great but will probably only pick up 4-5 of these for parts Quote
poisonbricks Posted May 31 Posted May 31 CMF looks great, but not really a fan of the movies so there's nothing for me in it. Oh well, glad other people are excited! I want the cat Quote

kevkipo Posted May 31 Posted May 31 (edited) Woahh these are all wonderful!! Love that you can almost create the full Spider-band this way as well. So glad they didn't spare any expense! Pav, Gwen, Hobie and Margo having new hair molds and in Hobie's case even a new spike mold, so cool! The only one that doesn't quite work imo is Webslinger, the cool factor with him comes from the grey hair sticking out from the back, but they had to save up somewhere I suppose! Fenghuang0296 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I love almost all of the CMF. My only issue is Sun Spider, particularly the legs - no dual moulding and no side printing? This is a CMF! Did they run up against the limit of budget even for a CMF? Web-Slinger is also disappointing - mostly because the horse isn’t the type that a Minifigure can ride. Love the actual figure. I guess I can forgive no Spider-Ham but why are they still not doing Peni? We had better have a Sp//dr set in the pipeline because at this point excluding her is really getting on my nerves. But still, so much to love here. Punk, India, 2099 and Byte all look phenomenal. Little annoyed that this Gwen is just an objectively better version of the Bodega’s Gwen. At least Miles got his lightning printing as a variant - even if I’m probably gonna need two of that figure to transfer the leg printing to the Bodega version. Getting Peter B and Mayday is great, and Prowler especially I’ve been wanting for ages. . . seriously though why did we get ‘Werewolf Spider-Man’ instead of Peni, or an updated version of Ham or Noir? Actually Noir in particular is a weird exclusion, sure we got him more recently than 2099 and his extant minifigure is decently accurate, but still. Oh well. 8/12 are perfect, 2/12 are acceptable (and I can’t really criticise Cyborg because she was prominent and relevant). I can live with that. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Dayum, these are even better than I was hoping for!! They‘re cooking with all the Spidey stuff this year! Quote
psqidexslizer Posted May 31 Posted May 31 CMF looks good. Definitely not my first choice for a CMF series, but I may pick them up. Quote
Buckethead Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Really enjoying this CMF and the designs of all the characters. I noticed Cyborg Spider-Woman's new molded shoulder pad and mask are the same piece. I part of me wishes it was separate. Also curious, does Prowler's mask plug on like a helmet or does it connect to the neck like a gas mask? Quote

Eh, if we are subbing one out I'd say Cyborg soider-woman rather than Sun Spider. Since they did do a very similar (admittedly without the CMF budget add-ons) cyborg spider m-man for a recent book. doclord Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Miguel looks a bit chopped without his gauntlets, but I had a feeling they would just print it. The cape is a nice surprise, and the AI. Quote
JohnTPT17 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I have some quibbles with some of the minifigure selection and how some were executed (Miles get a normal, common, unprinted spider as his accessory? Boo!), but I'll definitely be getting at least seven, and might get a full set. Any critiques I have with this set will be immediately silenced with a January 2026 follow-up set with Peni, Noir, and Ham with a villain or two from the first movie in a $50-60 set to mirror the Across the Spider-Verse set from this year. (Seriously though, Lego - Give me Peni in her mech already!) Quote

Literally half this lineup should be replaced with other characters IMO. Kilometers Immorales isn't even a spider-man and I don't get why he's here over any of the cut supporting cast. The VR lady just isn't interesting to me. As for the others, evil moon knight, good boy, Uncle Ben's Ghost Rider, and red hulk are all basically cameos who's inclusion over Peni, Noir, Ben, or Jessica is crazy. And even then, if we're doing cameos, why not ones like Unlimited or Future Foundation who have more appeal than their two seconds in the movie? Two of the ones they chose aren't even accurately represented at this scale- cyborg spider woman is (was? I don't remember her in the movie at all, just the merch) supposed to be like hulk sized- and web-slinger can't ride his own horse. That said, everyone looks incredible. I'm glad they gave Miles the shock variant, I think that's cool and a good choice. They put a ton of effort into this, I just don't think they chose the right characters. 3 hours ago, kevkipo said: Woahh these are all wonderful!! Yeah, it doesn't capture him well, and the horse he can't ride is also a strange choice- obviously they couldn't fit a full horse in here, but it begs the question of why he's here at all over someone like Scarlet Spider. Pop Star c o Posted June 1 Posted June 1 (edited) THIS IS ABSOLUTE THRASH! I'VE NOTICED TOTAL DECLINE IN LEGO IN LAST COUPLE YEAR BUT I WOULD NEVER BELIEVE THEY WOULD COME DOWN THIS LOW! HELL THEY DID! MEGABLUCK THIS SHIT! MEGABLUCK THIS GARBAGE! I HATE LEGO!!! Edited June 1 by Pop Star c o Quote
Coryo Posted June 1 Posted June 1 The fact that Lego is willing to make a full CMF series based on a single project is promising, undoubtedly the next two Avengers movies will be bigger than Spider-Verse was, so maybe this will be how we get some of the other characters, in addition to the regular sets.
