Auroralampinen Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 Here is first build and review of this set Quote
SNIPE Posted February 24 Posted February 24 (edited) Only downside is I don't see any pinhole with axle connectors in yellow Otherwise, very tidy set - will buy. EDIT: I also wonder if the color inconsistency for yellow has been fixed, the pinhole with pin connectors were slightly translucent and a lighter yellow then other yellow lego pieces. HorcikDesigns Posted February 25 Posted February 25 (edited) This is IMHO the best midscale car so far. It has some flaws (looking at you, rear lights and wobbly side doors), but it is packed with interesting geometry and surprising connections - something similar to Speed Champions sets. Half of the car is built with 0.5 stud offset! And there are some exciting new parts. And one followup to the yellow pin in nose comment - it is used intentionally due to tolerances, and I think we probably will say goodbye to LBG frictionless pins in the near future. 1gor Posted February 26 Posted February 26 With 60° between each segment...not typical angle for a V8 (they are usually 90°; 720° is full working cycle for 4 stroke engine devided by Nr.of cylinders gives optimal angle between cylinder banks; in case of V8 it is 90°). Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Hi everyone, this is an interruption to the string of F1 reviews from RacingBrick Quote
Paul B Technic Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I saw this in person this week, not a fan at all. At least last year's had something decent about the looks. Quote
Zerobricks Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Why didn't they use the blue half bushes? They are available... Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) So, here we have one of the dull bloody cars from the August wave before we've seen anything for June. Yep, par for the course at this point. Edited March 30 by Maaboo the Witch Quote
mpj Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Blue or dark azure? Difficult to understand from this picture. Quote

2GodBDGlory Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I'd love for it to be normal blue! Such a nice color, that isn't used enough. Plus, you can't complain about blue pins on a blue car! Quote
Aurorasaurus Posted March 30 Posted March 30 If you zoom in under the door you can see a blue pin and its quite a different color to the body. I think it will be one of the azure shades. I'm hoping for dark azure personally. Quote
msk6003 Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) New parts in Dark azure - red square Rare parts in Dark azure - green square I wonder why TLG choose Dark azure for alter color of this set. It is not bad color but bugatti bolide also use Dark azure for alter color. Red, Black or Real blue will be more good. Edited March 31 by msk6003 Quote
