It’s scheduled to retire at the end of 2027, so you have some time. Interested to see if we get a new Ninjago City set next year, otherwise they’ll all be off the shelves.

The only way out of this is not to buy them, don't support them at all, encourage others not to buy them. If sales drop then combined with hopefully poor sales of the other Smart Brick themes then we might be free of them by 2028. If you support them Ninjago as a theme is dead.

I also am wondering where this news is coming from. As long as the entire summer wave isn’t Smart Bricks, then I wouldn’t mind this too much. I would *hope* that any Slop Minifigures would just be a few repeated major characters. It would be very frustrating to get, say, 4 of the 6 OG ninja as regular minifigures and the remaining 2 as slop. Either way, based on the cost and design of previous Smart sets, I heavily doubt I would purchase any of these.

The Acid Monster (full tail) is coming to the magazine! Great news IMO as he's an awesome looking fig but I wasn't planning on picking up any of the sets he comes in (though the heatwave mech dragon is tempting).

I've already got the Mutation and Tar Monsters so with this I'll just want the summer wave monsters for that little collection, hopefully they'll come to magazine too at some point especially the Fire monster!!!

Are you in the US? If so, it isn't available here... none of the magazines with figures are, and never have been. (sadly!)
