Rolyat24 Posted August 3, 2025 Posted August 3, 2025 71860 is apparently an anniversary Lloyd’s Titan Mech with 1293 pieces. This seems like an odd choice, since 1) The original set isn’t all that old 2) It’ll be hard to top and 3) Nya and Kai still haven’t gotten a first Titan Mech. I’m hoping it’ll at least be different enough from the original to stand out. Maybe with some of the articulation included in Cole’s. I’d also like to see more than one minifigure, maybe a character from the Ice Chapter. Quote

It might seem weird that we are getting a remake of that set now. But next year it would be 7 years since that set released, and that is the same amount of time as Rise of the Snakes to Legacy. So that makes it's inclusion a lot more justified in my opinion. It's also going have over 400 more parts then the original(that also makes it the largest mech of all time), so that should make it feel like the UCS version of the original. I'm personally quite excited about this, as that set has to be the set that I regret not getting the most from this theme. Also there could be a new Akita minifigure here, and that's especially great as she is very expensive to get now. Quote

You’re right, this does have the potential to be really large and detailed. I’m excited to see another large mech after Cole’s, even if I’d prefer a different character to get one. I would welcome an Akita minifigure, but I don’t want to get my hopes up. For now, I’ll assume just one mech pilot Lloyd and maybe an anniversary fig. Quote
Lyichir Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 I would be down for an updated Lloyd's Titan Mech. Even after all the others I still love its streamlined shaping—if they can maintain that while also implementing more recent advances in articulation for large mechs, it could easily be worth the remake. It's one of my favorite mechs of all time and this sounds like it has the potential to be an upgrade, so I think I'll probably end up picking it up. Edited August 6, 2025 by Meaf Quote
AD_Bricks Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 What do we think about the description for the anniversary set that appeared a little while ago saying something about connecting to the monastery? Is it mistaken, could it mean the 2019 version, or could we actually have a new one coming out (alongside a Garmadon's dark fortress if that one dubious list that mentioned a monastery is to be believed)? The description sounds a bit too good to be true, with it being a 447 piece $45 set with 8 minifigures(which are most likely exclusive here). Also I'm not even sure who the original source of this information is. But this might also be real, as some of the set information for this year, also came from unusual places. What I do know is that the sets list with Garmadon's dark fortress is 100% fake. Quote

I know there’s almost no chance of ever getting a dark fortress remake, but wouldn’t that be so cool? The original set was one of my favorites in 2011, but its building techniques and size leave a lot to be desired. Imagine a huge remake with a full interior, rising drawbridge, and more accurate skeleton spider. Maybe I’ll have to moc my own someday. Quote
Lion King Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 I haven’t watched Dragon Risiing seasons but I heard that Cole and Geo are a gay couple yet there is no on-screen confirmation. What is your thought? In my opinion, that would be great if they’re in a romantic relationship on in both Tv show and sets. I don’t believe there are first gay named couples in in-house Lego sets and/or tv show before. Quote

There's never been any confirmation of the two having a romantic relationship, but the creators have shown support to the pairing, and have hinted to it. Personally I think it would be great for the two to be an official couple! Quote

I wish Lego and creators can confirm that they are an official couple! Quote

THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 12, 2025 Posted October 12, 2025 The description for the Ninja Anniversary Display set is genuinely insane! Because what do you mean we're getting a 40€ set with 447 pieces and eight minifigures, of which at least six are exclusive? Never been so excited for a Ninjago set. The Four Weapons Blacksmith also sounds awesome. The value is also great—90€ for 1259 pieces is something we haven't seen in a while. Nice that we're getting blacksmith Kai and his parents. Looks like the villains for Season 4 of Dragons Rising are called Loyalists and Acid / Earth Monsters. Interested to see how the Dragon outfits play out in the show. Quote
mantax Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 It felt so long since we had new information for the 2026, but that might be because of how much we got for recent waves. Both the 15th anniversary sets sound way better then I could have ever expected, I think I'd want to get both of these. I'm only curious on what these anniversary figs are. Since they are just called Elemental masters of something, so they might even be the previous Elemental masters. Now the s4 set minifigure descriptions are just weird. We know that there are 3 Elemental Monsters(Purple snake, Earth, Tentacle), but here there are only 2. The Earth monster is there, and Snake has to be the Poison Monster. The Tentacle one could be in the 4 sets we don't have descriptions for, but images of it leaked along side the Loyalist, and these were from The Dragon of Life set wth dragon Cole and Lloyd. That set already has 8 minifigures for €100 so it couldn't have been just skipped. So either the Earth or Poison monster is actually the tentacle one, but these names don't fit that one, and are perfect for the other 2 leaked villains. All that illogical information just feels too confusing for me, and I'll just wait for some better explanation for the villain minifigures. It's great that at least 2 of the sets come with two dragon ninja, as that should make it easier to collect them all, but still it's at least €250 to get them all, plus we are getting the anniversary minifigures. So unless the magazines help with that, I only see myself trying to get at least one of them, and that's it. The Ninja Motorcycle Battle at treehouse on one hand is great, since it comes with Euphrasia, but It also comes with the 2 ninja that got new motorcycles recently. Quote
Rolyat24 Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 I could easily see the green tentacle minifigure as the poison monster, leaving the serpentine in some yet-to-be-leaked set. So far there lists sound very generous, but it’s surprising that neither Wyldfyre nor Ras is in any of the sets (so far) and Arin and Sora only appear once each. I’m assuming at least one of them will be in the Riyu set, but who knows. I’d like if the new ninja got more of a focus. And I’d certainly prefer them to get dragon suits too. Quote

I imagine they're doing the LEGO Star Wars gimmick from last year in making anniversary figures characters they'd never justify making otherwise Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 25, 2025 Posted October 25, 2025 Some parts of the 2026 sets have leaked, including Jay's car, Cole's mech, Zane's chopper, and multiple Ninja suits and villains. Not a big fan of the suits this time around. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 25, 2025 Posted October 25, 2025 Interesting to see the two hood pieces not only continue to coexist, but even show up in the same set! Also, the darksaber piece is no longer license-locked, and those dragon tail pieces might come in handy! Not sure for what characters specifically though Quote

Toa Palpo Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 I'm so happy we're finally getting Cole's golem form! It could be better, but I like how it turned out. Easily picking up that set. I love the dragon forms of the Ninja, especially those nice tails and the new elemental villains are awesome. Quote
mantax Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 It's neat that the 2 sets that I was the most interested in got revealed first. There's some changes with the minifigures, one is great, while the other isn't. A loyalist is also included in the Cole mech, and in Jay's Car Nya isn't in her dargon suit. Jay's Car - For me this is the best looking Jay car that we got, although I didn't find the other ones too interesting, but this one indeed looks great. It does feel a bit overpriced, but it's not too bad. I think that the transformation feature is going to be like in Tormak's Shadow Blazer from Chima, so only the front part of the car rotates to have the dragon details from the bottom be on the top. Cole's mech - I don't see how it has more pieces then Jay's car. It looks to be the size of Kai's elemental mech, which for the same price and similar piece count also had a villain mech, but there isn't that much of a great look at it, so it could feel more like the price with better pictures. Other then that It does feel like a great representation of Cole's golem form. I love how many weapons it's got, especially the blaster, as you don't get much of this type of weapon from Ninjago. Zane's helicopter is weird, as we didn't know about it before. It might seem that it's in the vehicle battle at Treehouse, but that set now has bike in it's name. So I think that it's actually a new set, which is a lego store exclusive like Lloyd's elemental mech, and we also didn't know about that set until it got officially revealed. Also this would eat up at least 100 pieses(It might even be 200) that could have gone to the treehouse. Now the vehicle itself dosn't interest me at all. The ninja using the same torso and legs both in their regular and dragon versions, feels expected, as there are already so many new minifigure designs for this year. That's also nice as the dragon ninja are just upgraded versions of the regular suits, so you could only get the dragon ninja to have all the new ninja suits. I don't feel like Euphrasia needed a new suit, but that's still a welcome inclusion. Now this 2 sets combined feel like such a great value for only around $80. As there are all the originall ninja except Lloyd, plus all the new villains except that green one. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 It's also cool that Jay is once again a ninja. He even changed his hair back. I like his suit the least though. For some reason he uses a dark blue mask, which looks off. His arms are in that yellowish colour, so it looks like it's another tournament suit with bare arms. Quote
CloneCommando99 Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Kai and Wu’s remastered S1 figs are 🔥 I hope we get more of these for more seasons. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 The mask is a bit weird, with the bottom being really point and the "crown" being much more prominent than before, but the suit looks fantastic. The fact that we're getting all of them in a single set us genuinely incredible, and I've never wanted to see a set more than this. Quote
