Just seen a drawing of central station, looks good with its clock tower and pigeons

I've also seen it, that design seems it's not even from city.  It actually really nice!

The more I think of it, it looks like this might be an expansion for the tower.  Who knows if there's more sets to come and turn that goofy mess into a town lineup.

TRUE! The only costume character I'd get excited for is a pigeon one

After 5 other costume minifigures with 2 of them being dinosaur ones (I would pay good money for a minecart one tho)

Yeah it’s like when 60380 was released and 60365 was almost like an expansion in a way

Just seen a picture of 60470 The Arctic Train and it’s one on the best trains I’ve ever seen

Already?

I've seen it too!

It looks interesting with the mix between passenger transport and cargo. Looks like powered up will be staying for this one.

It reminds of a certain 90s train called cargo railway. The scenery actually exists in this set.

It's a new mould, the neck-chest area is round and flat opposed to the spiky fur the current wolf has.

Agree. Head is too erect, and there’s no visible stud on the back which you would see if it were the existing mould on the right hand animal at least.

I’m now crossing everything for a variant ‘red’ fox to show up in the background of a new City set we haven’t yet seen

That train looks cool as heck! Very unique design, with a great engine, passenger and cargo cars, and trackside landscaping. Looks like Johnny Thunder is back as well!

I love the fact that the team is the same since 2023. The head prints stayed the same with new attire.  The new Johnny Thunder reminds me of the 2003(?) Orient Expedition sets. Looks like their plan is to focus on the 3 best-selling explorer subthemes, maybe next year will focus on deep- sea, hopefully a cool underwater Base. And then 2027 gives us a big cargo plane and Expedition Camp in the Jungle.

Final Note-

2024 Classic Jungle Johnny

2025-Artic Johnny

2026-Scuba Johnny?

Love the ‘observation car’ with the wraparound windows - perfect for watching the Aurora Legoalis!

Another neat thing about this set is that not only does it share the crew from previous exploration waves, it shares the color scheme and branding from the latest one too. The Dark Blue, Orange, and White are still there—the main difference is swapping the Olive Green from the jungle exploration sets with a Medium Azure more befitting icy arctic climes. It's really neat how that subtle change to just one accent color changes the feel of the set, while still unifying it visually with its direct predecessors.

I'm more excited about how we finally have new track that can connect on both sides

From now on it'll be a single team of explorers with a slight change of colour to match the area they're in.

Agreed on the part with the head but there is no way the fox would have no stud. However, I think it is a strange arangement for the fox. I mean up on the cliff you would rather expect a wolf than a fox, and sizewise it would look more than a wolf too, so I am wondering if it is indeed a new mould for a fox, or just the wolf, which might just look different, because of the angle. I would actually think the wolf seems more likely to me, but I won´t complain if it is indeed the fox.

Yeah my point was that you would see the stud on the back of the wolf mould from that angle (the head is also all wrong, so it’s a moot point). As to whether the fox has a stud - no idea. The closest critters we have would be dogs, otters, skunk & red panda. Some of them have a stud on the back, some don’t 🤷🏽‍♂️

I agree. This is a very fresh and good design. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures of this set.
