There is a new LEGOLAND exclusive castle that was just posted in the usual places. It comes with the horse knight shield.

We had one in Friends - 42638.  It looks more Victorian to me, but it has a turret and is officially Castle Bed and Breakfast.

The Pegasus shield goes very well with the torso from the Paladin CMF. I have tried it. Looks good. Especially with a gold color plume on the helmet and a magenta cape

I would love to see City subtheme that features castles and renaissance faires. Or maybe City subtheme sets in the past jsut like it did wiht a futuristic Space sub theme in 2024.

Or at least they would introduce a neo-Fantasy Era theme.  I always love a classic dragon mold (ignoring those buildable Ninjago dragons).

I just picked up a few of the brown gnome hats from PAB. They are great!

Not really interested in it honestly. Looks to close to the Medieval Blacksmith to my taste, but goes more the fantasy route than the medieval one, so not really what I am looking for - but it is still a nice build, with nice details. Just in the end there are so many sets out there nowadays you have to decide what to buy and what not.

I personally love the final look. Iam not a great fan of BDP but, I have Mountain fortress and preorder on Outlaw Foredt Den. I have to admit that this series are wonderfull. Japanese restaurant and Fortuna… rhose are great designs and great looking builds. AW is kinda simillar to th e MBS but I see it as complementary build, and as such it fit nicelly. Its a must have for me (I am sucker on medieval themed houses) ;)

I really like it. I know some thought the flask in the roof was kitsch, but I think it's great.

I thought it was interesting to see quite a few things having changed since the original submission, and the entire different figure lineup too. Still like the final version and very much looking forward to getting it.

A bit too cartooney for me, and while it scales to the Blacksmith, thats already too awkward with any other set.

I appreciate Lego including castle parts in BAM. However, I am not a fan of the color selection for the jester. Seems a bit modern?

Yeah exactly, what I thought too. I´d rather gather more peasants honestly, but I guess better than nothing, and there are surely people that can use it anyways.

I have enough red & white and red & blue jesters. I wasn't a fan of the orange & purple one, so definitely won't be going for a pink one. They didn't even do a half and half hat to match the body this time.

Still hoping for some news on the Icons knights' tournament set - I really hope it didn't get cancelled.

1. Like the MTS was teasered with words in the instructions of the LKC, there was a hint towards a knights' tournament in the instructions of the MTS.

2. Lego released two retro Castle sets with an interval of two years, so this year should be the next one.

3. There had been two throwbacks to Castle sets in the Icons theme in the last years: a castle and a town square. So what's missing? A village and a tournament. Village buildings would be too close to the cheese dairy in the MTS - so consequently a tournament is the most likeky.

 

It could be some re-design of past tournament sets, e. g. 383, 6060 or 10223. I personally hope that there'll be a building included, too, to add it to the MTS.
