Great list, add the Doors of Durin and Prancing Pony for me and it's all the most needed locations. Edited October 5 by mtrsteve Quote

Unless of course you need to buy 10 of a smaller lower section to create a base for the big top section to be added. But then most of those would be covered up. I don’t disagree. Unless they do a micro scale model or a forced perspective, then I don’t think they’ll ever give us a film accurate set. Too many bricks would be needed to provide the ‘hill’ part of the city. I can imagine smaller sets that are sold as stand alone sets portraying sections of the city though… Quote

kuzyabricks Posted October 12 Posted October 12 With the minis tirith figure selection being leaked I assume it's a partial amount. 3-4 soldiers? Doubt that's for a smaller set. Barad dur had 4 unnamed orcs, similar amount. I assume a Barad Dur treatment will happen here as well, microscale-ish exterior with some space to pose figures behind walls and then an interior that's detailed. My guess. 600ish range. We will have to see though. Hope Helms Deep is next. On 10/11/2025 at 1:22 AM, Altair1 said: We already have Helm's Deep ! So I don't think it should be a priority. But the more LoTR sets the better! Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 12 Posted October 12 King Aragorn, Gandalf the White, Pippin, Faramir, Denethor, and Gondor soldiers?? :D No Witch-King or Eowyn :ᗡ Quote

Lordhelmet Posted October 12 Posted October 12 If the list is complete (8 total figs). I am hoping for a $400 micro scale build (and some scenes in the back). as much as I want eowyn and the witch king I don’t think they are needed for minis tirith and really need to be their own set. Quote
Black Falcon Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I guess if it would really just be 8 figs it will be just the top of the city and not all (or an reduced number of) levels. Quote
RichardGoring Posted October 13 Posted October 13 It feels like a disappointingly small list, but at the same time, I'm not surprised. But hopefully it's not a complete list and there are some more. Nice to be getting more details. Quote

It would be the mother of all missed opportunities if the Witch King and Eowyn somehow didn’t show up in this set. Quote

Roebuck Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Do not seem like a generous minifig line up, but in line with a lot of other sets lately so could be everything. Maybe there is a gwp with a fig or two as well Will for sure cost a lot to build a army of those figs I wonder if the set will have horses, would not surprise me if Lego skip them to save money Quote
MKJoshA Posted October 13 Posted October 13 At this point I'd be surprised if they included Eowyn. Thought the Witch-King is still a possibility. I'd love for more figures to be included. But the current rumor list is at least acceptable. Quote

Blazej_Holen Posted October 13 Posted October 13 The rumored line up isnt complete. Its just that among the figs we can expect, thwre will be Faramir, Denethor, Gandalf, Pippin and Gonodrian soldiers… but I bet there are more to come. Witch King and Eowyn at least, I would guess Theoden as well and maxbe some orcs… Quote

It seems a strange selection putting both King Aragorn and Denethor in the same set given that Denethor was dead prior to Aragorn becoming king. Quote

Without horses, customers need to pay up less to get *some* Gondor minifigs. I must have a couple dozen horses already, so easy enough to muster enough to field a troop of men-at-arms. Quote

With that way of reasoning, we just need a battlepack of figs, most uf us have enough white brick anyway The set could have a horse in another color and some sets must include horses or they will go out of production. So it's not a waste of budget to me at least, but I am more interested in animals then most 😅 Quote
psqidexslizer Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Only 9 minifigures isn’t all that surprising. That’s been the standard number for the last two LotR sets. Rivendell was the exception since it was the first and likely had a bigger minifigure budget. There also doesn’t seem to be any reuses of minifigures from a prior set (unless they don’t go with armored Pippin), unlike Barad-Dur and The Shire, which is nice. Quote
