Buff up your bricks ye scally-waggs, for today we are having our very first Classic-Pirates.com Community Build!
For all of you who don't know what a community build is:
The staff/volunteers make a list of different buildings that would comprise a town of the late 1700's. Then, each person chooses a building that they would like to build.
Once built, all what you have to do is take some pics of the entry, post it in the entry thread and you're done. Simple as that.
This community build is open to all EB members, regardless of number of posts , etc.
There's lots of room so hurry on over to the pirate forum and register!
Why Do You Build Town?
Hinckley has started a most interesting discussion in the Town Forum entitled,
Why Do You Build Town? Why do Town fans build what they build? Is there a little town in all of us? Find out more in this Town discussion.
Cessna Plane
Who needs huge specialized BURP-like pieces to build a quality aircraft? Definately not EB town fan MdrnMrvls. Using standard pieces, MdrnMrvls has created a wonderful

Train Tech has a new station!
LEGO trains are an important aspect of the hobby for many AFOLs, and in many ways they surpass the traditional Town link that's often made. For example you can make a Sci-Fi or a Western themed train. Partially for this reason we've decided to separate the two forums.
Colorized Mini
Pimp My Mini!
-At least that's the thought behind Dr. Spock's recent Town MOC. Modifying the 2010 City set, 3177 Mini Car, Dr. Spock successfully "colorizes" his B&W mini to resemble a colorful Volkswagen Golf.

Legostein, already known for his amazing Star Wars minis, has done it again.
