Daiman Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Designed these plates some years ago from Joe Jonstons original tile designs and built via Bricklink with the idea of expanding the scene to display my minifig scale X-Wing and I wish I did... Costing the same builds now make them unaffordable for what they are at around 60 AUD a panel with lego reaching collectors only market prices and still at 40 bucks using third party parts. Add on postage and theres not much bang for your buck with these. Oh well I guess Renders will have to do for the remainder of the six. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Solid design. The X-Wing is well scaled for the trench. Quote
Daiman Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 @Shivathere are 2 whole panels shown, the back and the base square builds. either of them comes out to roughly that cost, the whole panels not individual pieces. @Feuer ZugThanks, in the film they didn't adhere to a scale. I think originally we wern't expected to pay much attention and boy did that change. whenever they shot a death star scene they used the same plate designs not bothering to scale them appropriately so sometimes the rear one for example may look like conduit other times a turbolift exterior and other times like a major generator array. Daiman Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 @Yperio_BricksI think the Xwing was a polybag so instructions should be available online, thanks for the follow... Quote
