17971638764_d8c2d39728_o.jpgWell, as I was wondering around the ship, lost in my thoughts I came across a sign up sheet on a noticeboard. It was recruiting people used to high risk situations into a new corps of specially trained M.A.N.T.I.S. scientists, and said pilots were particularly sought after. The deadline was that very day, so I signed up there and then. I thought that if I became a scientist with a steady job Rex would think about settling down.

19378906603_98d1f8ce5c_o.jpgHow long was the training?

17971638764_d8c2d39728_o.jpgTwo years. As soon as it was done I caught a ride on the first cargo ship headed out to where Rex was stationed. There was only just room for me and another woman who wanted a lift. She didn't say a thing to me for the whole journey.

17971638764_d8c2d39728_o.jpgWe got there and Rex was out on a mission, so I sat in the hangar and waited for him.

17971638764_d8c2d39728_o.jpgHe never came back. None of them did.

Cut this one a bit fine! Some more pics, including the hidden weapons:

A very Mantis looking ship, feels vaguely insectoid. Neat hidden weapons and I like the inclusion of the luggage in the hold with Sal.

The winshield combos are really great, and I love the intake area for the engines. Great work Sal!

Neat ship you built. It looks like it has good playability. The concealed defense turrets are neat. What a sad end to the story though. I also like how you built the cockpit.

Sweet design! I like the organic, sort of "bug-eyed" look to the front - reminds me of a deep sea fish. Intriguing story, too - I'm interested to see where you go with it.
