Xyver Posted June 21, 2012 Myer Brisbane CBD had plenty of Red Cargo Trains left, as did Myer Carindale. They also have a few of the Passenger Train so I grabbed one of each for extras, plus a train station. There were no VW Campers that I saw at Carindale, but still plenty in the CBD and a few tower bridges too. I asked if they would price match Target for the Forest Police Station and the guy (a Lego enthusiast) said he'd check. Lo and behold it scanned at the Target price anyway, so it looks like they realised and just changed their price (I couldn't wait another week to save an extra $5 at BigW but will pick up a second one anyway) Target at Capalaba and Carindale are already sold out of R2s and although someone on here mentioned the Diagon Alleys are in store I couldn't find any of them either. I've only just signed up to MyerOne, only got my card this week, but I didn't get an email, another 10% off would've been great. Brickton Posted June 21, 2012 I am a Myer One cardholder and received nothing in the email about a 10% off voucher. Furthermore, I asked about it at the counter this morning and was told there was no such offer...I also checked with another staff member I know and they informed me to their knowedge there was no 10% off offer as well. lightningtiger Posted June 21, 2012 So not too bad a job since its not a nice day at all to go outside, and I'm going to try Myer TTP for the Cargo Train tonight of the weekend - which will be likely good for my credit card in that it won't be there! :) Oh, I hate to you there is only one left, I took the second to last one and slapped it on Layby ! It may turn up at some of the specialised online dealers like Shop for me or Bricks 2 the World at some stage but likely the Big W price (which is $6 less than the Lego SHop@Home site) is the best you'll manage. As always, you might save a few dollars buying off Ebay or Bricklink, but unfortunately there just won't be as many options to obtain this set locally as with most other sets. Unfortunately it largely came too late for me and most of my Lego group members...but really appreciate it being made available. They may have taken $320 of Myers vouchers from me, but with the sale prices, the 10% voucher and having picked up the vouchers when there was a bonus $10 for each $100 spent, it felt like a good deal.
