Both are true I think but you can do with straight Red for now.

The new narrower tyres are also better for the front wheels of the 10248 Ferrari F40!

 

Looking forward to trying them on my 10220 VW T1 Camper and the spare wheels of 10242 & 10250!

They're also great for making improvements to older Technic sets!

Bought it yesterday in the Leicester Square store. Was given a special Lego London Bus drivers license and 40251 3in1 Piggy Bank. I'm going to start building it tonight.

Already gonna change the transparant bricks under the front window to red ones, so I can add the extra light, also seen on the front right

Also changed the bottom of the front, so it comes one stud lower

We cannot use small two tyres together to make one big tyre?

Can u show the base frame for bigger tyres aswell?

Hi

I built my bus last week and looking at the front did not satisfied me.

So I made some small changes with parts I had....

No big deal,but I'm happy with the look compared to the original.

Comparison pic between the two frames, those without the wheels attached is the original frame (done by LEGO), those with the wheels is those new frame (digitally made by BrickWild) for bigger tyres on the end!

Almost finished the bus.

I don't know if anybody already changed the complete front, I just altered it a bit.

But I made the mod of BrickWild in real, had to alter the interior a bit too, to fit the larger wheels.

Just waiting for the new rims for front and back (grey ones)

Found such an old London Bus with grey wheels, so mine is accurate too.

Pics will follow if the bus is complete.

I hope I receive the parts on Monday, maybe Tuesday

Made those with the big wheels, but they don't move freely...

More alterations done to the seats above the rear wheels, so they can move freely now.

Waiting for the last parts for those seats and part of the floor. And some parts for the rear wheels.

Okay, gonna post a pic of my finished bus, at least the wheels.

Just need to wait for 4 1x1 bricks in dark blue grey to finish my seats above the rear wheels.
