  1. Hello everyone! Its not quite town but townfolk neeed to get away from the busy city every so often and what better way than somewhere tropical! It's a bit different to my usual city fare but an excuse to try rockwork and some water detailing. Hopefully it's something I can improve on with time - it was a lot of fun throwing it together. As usual you can find all my mocs on my flickr page here Regards
  2. Hi everyone, Sharing my latest MOC: the Slammed Surf Rod, a lime green hot rod with a beachside attitude. Inspired by the relaxed vibe of California cruisers mixed with some good old-fashioned rat rod chaos. Built for fun, but with a few neat building tricks for the AFOL crowd: The front grille uses a Guide Dog Harness piece — yes, the one from the Service Dog — repurposed to give the rod a sleek, custom front-end. The wheels feature Exo-Force projectile disks in a striking red-yellow marbled pattern, giving a vibrant and fiery look to the rims — like rolling on sunset flames. 🧱 Other features: Stretched frame with SNOT construction Roof-mounted surfboard held in place with rubber band straps Classic open engine bay with exhaust pipes and flame effects Oversized rear tires for that authentic stance I wanted to capture that “drive to the beach with the engine roaring” feel, blending chill aesthetics with bold details. Hope you enjoy it — feedback and questions welcome!
  3. Hi!! this is my new model about tropical vacation, actually in LEGO Ideas hope you like it ! LEGO IDEAS - Tropical Vacation
  4. Dear all, First, let me introduce myself ! I'm a Belgian fan, member of BELUG since 2015, but fall again in LEGO since 2010. I've already made some exhibitions with 2 large dioramas, one about the battle of Waterloo 1815 (with J.L. Hornblower), and the other about Old Castle Black Falcon's Fortress. It is a pleasure for me to submit my Caribbean Fortress 1762 It's a WIP, I'm planning or not to add another floor on the main building + an harbor, docks, shipyard, isles ... Thanks in advance for your feedbacks and comments !! 5. ...with only a gun & a small saber, unable to escape. And eventually, he starved & dehydrated to death! A very simple vignette using the 'island' baseplate!
  6. This is the other of my two MOCs going to London for next week's Brick2014. Since it's built to life-size, many people who look quickly think the model is a real aquarium with Lego built inside it, but actually the tank itself is made out of Lego, too. The biggest challenge was to keep the tank frame narrow and sleek-looking but still strong enough to bear the considerable weight of the hood, lighting and motor. ( power functions needed for circulating " bubbles") Another challenge was positioning the fish so that they looked like they were swimming freely without any props or supports showing.(and didn't come crashing down during transport!!) • G A L L E R Y • click above image for direct gallery link
  7. I'd like to show you my next MOC. It was my attempt to create something that I would like to have myself to run away from town. It was more possible to do in bricks ;) Enjoy :) I am in the process of making instructions and learning Mlcad on the way, but it's going pretty bad for now... EDIT: Instructions are ready. You can view the rebrickable page for this MOC here: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/Mestari/tropical-island-hut You will see some pictures without the rock - it was the original version before I some necessary bricks arrived. Few more pictures here: http://bricksafe.com...ical_Island_Hut edit: I forgot to put the [MOC] designation in this thread title :/ Can this be fixed somehow?
