Introduction; I believe that many among us have made a MOC that they like, but think that something is missing and want to change it somehow to make it look better or emphasize in the story-telling. Among them, here I am! This MOC, follows my previous attempt and continues my story from where it was left! The Story; "...In a galaxy far, far away, somewhere in a corner of it, there is an unknown and isolated planet. Despite the initial disturbance from the clatter and thunder that unsettled the inhabitants of the planet on that festive day, the strange visitors became especially beloved by the local population. Our beloved C-3PO, despite speaking over 3 million languages and dialects, had a hard time getting in touch with them at first, but eventually succeeded and thus added another language to his database. The time was passing pleasantly as our 2 robots tried to find a way to repair their pod so they could continue their journey, enjoying their walks in the blossoming nature with the inhabitants of this isolated planet, until once again a bang and a thunder shocked the calm atmosphere that was prevailing..." So I thought this series was finished, but apparently not haha! This is a re-colour and Mod of https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=76031-1#T=S&O={"iconly":0} I bought this set for my kids when it came out and I've always admired the way it captures the stance and feel of the Hulkbuster in such a simple and efficient manner. When the https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=30611-1&name=R2-D2 - Mini polybag&category=[Star Wars][Mini][Star Wars Episode 4/5/6]#T=S&O={"iconly":0} came out I couldn't help but feel that this was a mash-up that needed to happen! He stands a touch over half the height of my other mechs but I think he fits right in with this motley crew haha! I tried to get this ready by the end of Mech-tober but ran out of time. LEGO did a great job in re-releasing R2-D2 as 75308, but there are still some parts not the same as the real one. So I've made the followings: - changed the outlook of the leg's fuel cells - flushed the third leg outlet panels (front and rear) by 1 plate - completed third leg outlet panels by adding the left and right sides - switched the position of the buttons and pillars of the legs (same as the 2012 version) - changed the outlook of the middle exhaust vents - moved the tools compartments further outward and made it taller - filled the gap between the head and the body - more SNOT outlook - push-to-open the lightsaber cover 195 extra pieces are required. Spare parts are also needed, about 80 original pieces will be left. Instruction available at https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-85457 Happy building. Have fun and enjoy!

Introduction; This MOC is my first attempt, specified in landscape, of this size. The Story; "... In a galaxy far far away, somewhere in one of its corners, there is an unknown and isolated planet. In the center of the area where life has been developed, lies its oldest structure. A stone column with unknown carvings. But this is not the only peculiar thing about it. Every year, it lights up on its own and an abrupt hum is emitted. The next moment, something magical is happening! It's like the whole planet is coming alive - a heady aroma is overflowing everywhere, the flowers bloom, animals wake up and everyone enjoys this magical moment. This day has arrived, and all three tribes of the planet have gathered to celebrate the day of life. Everything rolls pleasantly, until a clank and a thunder shakes the calm atmosphere that prevails ... " 1. Honoring the Monolith MOC by George Patelis, on Flickr 2. Crashing Site 3. Crash Crater 7. Simple MOD from the official 75308 set, here is my R2-M5, a color variant from the famous R2-D2 astromech. R2-M5 by Veynom, on Flickr All features are maintained. R2-M5 by Veynom, on Flickr And here is a table indicating some other possibilities: R2-D2 Color variants guide by Veynom, on Flickr So let's see what is easily possible: Very easy: red, blue, dark blueish grey, reddish brown and black: A couple of part swaps may be necessary, but it will not affect the color design, model integrity, or play features. Tan, yellow: very minor change of design. With the release of the Daily Bugle set, the missing yellow part 11458 is now available. Easy (minor loss of color design) Orange: Some simple swaps to replace non-existing parts but the dish at the top of the head will be light blueish grey. Dark red: Part 11458 will need to be replaced by the white version. The dish at the top of the head will be light blueish grey Bright light orange: Part 11458 will need to be replaced by the white version. Somewhat easy: (more visible change of design) Bright Pink: Part 11458 will need to be replaced by the white version. The dish at the top of the head will be light blueish grey AND the front opening dark blue curved slopes will need to be replaced by 3x1 curved slopes assemblies. The head may be less sturdy, particularly during the assembly, due to the lack of corner plates (2x2) Medium Azure: it could be easy, but the lack of 1x1 brick modified with stud on side forces us to find another solution. I need to investigate. Dark green: More difficult, particularly as 2x2 plates do not exist in that color (on top of all the above issues). Next: we should start seeing more color variants using the below: A white head; A DBG or LBG body; Blue or read bodies; A classic space version ? Feel free to make your own version. If someone knows where to find the Studio file for that set, I would gladly grab it to experiment as well.

This is a set TLG has not made since 2002, and I feel it really needs to be remade. The false 2016 rumor, which turned out to be Yoda's CW Jedi Starfighter, was particularly disappointing. Here is my take on it. It could very well be a $25 set. You can remove the roof to see the interior. Plus the walls fold open! You can see Yoda's bed and his pot of food. Here's the view from the entrance :) C&C Welcome! Cheers! VaderFan2187

I couldn't wait till the brick built R2-D2 came out or if I ever have the chance to get one. So I used the instructions to make a R4-P17 copy with the astromech head from the UCS Jedi Starfighter. I love the design off that little R2-D2! I just don't like the vertical grill up front, i have to change that...any suggestions? a dark red tile is to simple, i think... Thanks for watching!
