Being able to line up preformated lines is not a mark of respect, only the proof that I am a number. Their so called legendary customer service is nothing but a myth. They screwed-up big times and worse they initially tried to deny it - I will give them the benefit of the doubt at first, maybe they did not have all the info at hand. Dozens of people were nevertheless able to buy the set at that price, Some bought multiple exemplaries for resale.. can't blame them. What I can't accept is that LEGO does not even make a gesture here - they hide behind the fact that "sorry, it was an error". That is how you justify your mistakes to you boss, not to your customers. We were able to read in the paper lately that LEGO's profit are skyrocketting. Good for them, now would have been a good time to actually do something in return for they number one fans.

I got a second email from the S@H customer service regarding the Haunted House price screw-up on the French store: Gutted. They do not have the slightest respect towards their customers, we are nothing but milk cows.

Yeah, I'm gutted. Not sure it's a deliberate lie or a lack of information though, I have no idea how the S@H is organized. Do they have country specific teams and call centers or is it centralized? One thing is for sure, they really screwed up the launch of this set. Anyway, I emailed them back... we'll see.

I hate to be a jerk but... scorpions and spiders are not insects, they're arachnids. You'll still get a vote from me though... because that is a very cool build and original idea!

I didn't know about this show I'm afraid. I looked it up and it seems a bit demented so yes, you're probably right, this scene might fit theme!

I wrote to LEGO to ask them about the price difference between the Belgian S@H (179,99€) and the French one (139,99€)... here is their reply: So the 139.99 is an error (?!) and you can't actually complete the transaction at that price - that's not true as it seems a lot of people were able to confirm their order during the week-end. Is the team managing the S@H just incompetent or also dishonest? I feel cheated.

I emailed the customer service about that this morning. I can understand price differences between Europe Vs US but not a 40€ increase between 2 adjacent European countries. I'll post the outcome here when I receive a reply.

Glad to hear that Series 7 has not been forgotten! Mmmh... a contest mixing the 2 series.. interesting! My guess for Category A, build 2 8x8 vignettes showcasing a MF from each Series. When combined, the 2 vignettes should illustrate an interaction between the 2 MF.

Thanks I Scream.. errr... Stallone?! lol ! Indeed these Figs are brilliant (oh my, the lady Zombie!), LEGO really nailed it with this theme. Each character or monster has its own style and charisma. I can't wait to see more Monster Fighters MOCs because I honestly think you can't go wrong with these guys!

The only ones I have been keeping are the large Star Wars ones that open up completely (Battle of Endor or AT-AT for instance) I use these to store my instructions and base plates. The rest I throw away... I'm having second thoughts on the Monster Fighters though, these boxes are gorgeous.

Thank you all for the great feedbacks! I got these made at a local LUG event in Belgium. One of the sellers had an engraving machine hooked up to a computer. Unfortunately he only does it during some events. I now have a collection of 1x2 in different colors... Handy to sign MOCs I believe some LEGO shops also do engraving (I saw one in Koln) but it's only on 2x4 bricks if I'm not mistaken. lol, I did consider adding a MF at the end of the line packing chicken legs in crates! Awesome, thank you Pandora for the confirmation!

B-V-20F Hello everyone, here is my entry in the Category 4 of the SoF contest... "Emma' slaughterhouse or the miracles of food industry". Warning - as the title might suggests this vignette is not the typical "Friends" style of build. People who know me are certainly aware that my style of builds is more on the noir and macabre side of things. I didn't build this to offend anyone... it's just dark humor. Anyway, you've been warned... I have included an engraved tile with my name, I prefer doing that than adding a watermark but I'm not too sure if this is allowed or not. If needed I can post a different picture without it.
