They had 3 for 2 on city sets in Sainsburys earlier today.

great fort, i like how the classic sets had been combined with mocs in the sea. The ball run thing at the end was great as well. If anyone has any pics or videos of that i would be interested!

Yeah i agree, this series does look better than the first ! The surfer and spartan are my favourites, and the skier is also great !

Hi everyone Been a member on here now for a few weeks so thought i would introduce myself! I'm Rob from the UK and am 22. Only just got back into lego. Was obbsessed with it as a kid but gradually grew up and away from lego. Didnt really think about it for about 8 years but was bored and browsing the internet about 3mths ago and stumbled accross brickset and started looking up some of my old sets, and the ones i really wanted as a kid but couldnt afford. Since then its been like a switch has been turned on in my head and im obbsessed again ! Have bought all the old sets i wanted which were mostly classic pirate sets. I have also got the entire 2009 pirate line and a few castle sets too. Im usually pretty good with my money but its been like water in my hands since i discovered lego + ebay. Castle and Pirate are my favourite themes but like most sets from all the lines, just have to pick and choose what i can afford! Future sets i want to get are the Medieval market village, the imperial flagship the modular houses that are out and the new kingdoms line. Bit of a struggle as it can be quite expensive ! Trying to plan when sets are going to be discontinued so i can get them before they disapear ! At the moment its a choice between the green grocer and the market village as i hear both of these wont be around for too much longer. Let me know what you would do in this situation ! At the momment all my lego is doing is sitting on my desk. I havent done any mocs or anything, just like having it there when i look up from working! Might start making mocs but dont feel i have enough pieces to do something justice, some of the stuff you guys make is amazing ! Aside from lego im really into kitesurfing, football and am enjoying my phd which i've just started. cheers! Rob

amazing moc, really like the attention to detail. The artist especially, i like how the blue paint on his paint pallet is smooth compared to the other paints as that is the one he is using!

Wow thats great ! Really fits in with the other sets. Even better it has a purpose other than just sitting on your desk ! (which is what most of my lego does !)

Looks great, more intimidating than the red/white sails. I like the rips and tears in the sails too, looks like its seen some action ! Very similar to the red beard runner I also like the crows nest and rowing boat hanging off the back.

i really like the training dummy, think its a nice touch.

I would recomend the new sets. While they arnt as good as the classic pirate line there are still some good sets and the minifigures are great!

Just taken a few pics. Hope they are what your after, if not i can always take some more. Appologies that my BSB is a bit dusty !! Overall view, quite hard to see the minifigs. Walk the plank! Captains Deck Updated figurehead ! Rest of the crew Brickbeards Cabin Imperials come to the rescue But what happened to the old crew of the black seas baracuda ? Marooned ! Overall i really enjoyed doing this, might do some more classic sets with modern minifigs !

me neither, they are brilliant ! the hoplite is fantastic ! Cheers for the barcodes though, will have to go rooting around for a forestman !

Gah ! cant believe i missed that. Damn ebayers saying its complete when it isnt ! Should have noticed, could have switched the torsos with one from the trading post for the review. Thanks for your kind words though everyone ! I enjoyed reviewing it, might look at doing some more reviews. Im assuming its ok to review sets other people have reviewed or is it seen as treading on peoples toes?

Its darker than the other gray pieces. The rock piece is old dark grey whereas the others are old gray. Those mountain pieces are in quite a few sets, here is the list !
