  1. Edit: Rats, I don't seem to have a corresponding Lego set after all.
  2. Nice! Thanks for the pics.
  3. Rec'd in the mail today: Small car Toy Story Army Men Wreck Raider Castle Drawbridge Defense Separatist Shuttle Desert Attack x2 From various sales last week.
  4. Wow, that's amazing! The water closet has a "TP" roll!
  5. Nice! Walmart clearance prices are very YMMV. For example, my Walmarts have never even carried base plates to my knowledge. :p I picked up a Space Police Raid VPR @ Borders w/30% off coupon this morning--what a great little toy, my favorite of the SPIII line I think. Was hoping they had PoP sets, but no luck. :(
  6. Yesterday I stopped by the Lego store to pick up a Max minifig I won from the In-Store VIP contest. While there I also got a SW CW AAT which was 50% off (couldn't resist). Today I might pick up a couple of Indy Cairo sets if they are still available from my local Kmart as they are having a B1G1 free special this week.
  7. I don't think the current availability can be accurately used to judge how much longer Lego plans to sell this set. First, it's a pricey set for a toy, which means Lego doesn't make as much of it since stores are less likely to carry large inventories of what they believe are "luxury" items. Second, it is very popular among SW and CW fans, so whatever stock comes in to stores are probably sold off rather quickly. On the whole, the set has been positively reviewed, and most SW and CW collectors want this in their collections. If you are in that category, then you should simply purchase the set as soon as it's financially reasonable for you to do so. I believe you still have plenty of time to save up for this one. Good luck.
  8. Good review! This set has always been on my radar since it was first announced. It just seems like a solid value and fun little set to mess around with. At first I thought of getting maybe two of these for a "Poor Man's" Alamut, but I decided that Alamut was just far to impressive to ignore.
  9. Thanks for the review! I agree with those who said this set isn't really visually appealing, and even the play elements (while pretty neat on the surface) will probably not have much staying power with the kiddies. However, I have to admit, it's quite complimentary to the other sets in the series and even beyond in other themes with some customization. And I really like the light up brick, which was great in the Agents set that I saw it in last. I would love to pick this one up sometime down the road at a lower price point/sale/clearance.
  10. Good news...it should continue to the holidays as earlier reported then! And apologies, my post got cut off...meant to say, "Call to Request Availability"!
  11. All I have at the moment is Brickbeard's Bounty and 5 Cannon Battles.
  12. Nice! Was there a steering wheel?
  13. Ah, now changed to "Call to Check Av
  14. Wow...is it really only temporarily sold out? I thought the item was listed as backordered in those situations, and not "Sold Out" as it is currently.
  15. I also received an MMV today!
  16. I like the Police Limo! Very amusing.
  17. I have to reserve judgement on this until closer to the actual release. I don't have the motorized one, so I'd consider this new set instead if it proved to be a better value.
  18. Very nice set! Thanks for the review. I will pick this up at my first opportunity.
  19. Picked up a City Fire Station 7208 with 40% off coupon from my local Borders. Not sure if I'm going to keep it since I have the previous set already. Was hoping that they'd have a bigger selection to choose from, but oh wells.
  20. Thanks for the review! Seems like most of the reviews I've read all say that the game doesn't hold the attention for too long. At least it has a Pirate theme!
  21. I ordered a couple Desert Attacks from S@H w/coupon, but I'm going to wait on the bigger sets until the next TRU or other sale. I wonder if this theme's popularity will exceed the movie, as the early previews of the film have not been especially favorable.
  22. I picked up GG now rather than chance it, but general consensus seems to be that it should last until the end of the year. I wonder what they'll do about MMV? That one seems destined to end with the rest of the Castle line by this summer, but it seems to be a pretty good seller, or at least popular among AFOLs? I'm also curious when Emerald Night is supposed to be retired as I want to pick that up before it's done, but can't afford it just yet.
  23. Nice! Each review I get more anxious for June to arrive.
  24. I agree w/MMV, Emerald Night, Battle for Endor, all the modulars, and the Imperial Flagship will all be sought after well after they are discontinued. Since Pirates is going away for awhile, I'm inclined to say those will be in the "wish I had gotten/obtained more" category as well. I already picked up a Brickbeard's Bounty and some Cannon Battles to make sure I have something of Pirates before it goes away, and I'll be looking at getting a Soldier's Fort in the next couple months as well. I'm already wondering if PoP will be a big seller thanks to the new bricks/colors. I don't think the movie is going to do too well, so I think this might be a case where the interest in the Lego sets will easily far outlast the IP on which it is based.
