  1. Thumbs up for the pig!
  2. Great snow cover and roof texture!
  3. I love olive trees - instatly reckognizable and texture of buildings. I generaly hate army builders when figs looking like line dancers. In your case posing is exceptioaly good and a lot of figs are great to see. I have been to Paphos region on Cyprus and it is more or less desert nowadays.
  4. She looks shocked as much as people seeing her. Nice work on head.
  5. Models are realy masterpieces. I supose you send a lot of time in search for all those parts and how to fit them together in a way to allow different posing! These typ of joints might hold the weight at least in some positions with least weight on them. I am not sure about parts themselves if they will all hold. But hey, you had fun with those creations and that's what matters. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Idea itself to mix themes is fabulous! Both are great the tower and ship. Some details are realy good like flames from the ship in several places, sqashed man under engine, 'icecream' smoke, raven waiting for his portion,...
  7. I like smaller one even more.
  8. So we were not the first there? Great idea and very clean build.
  9. I like how you manage to make yellow parts. First one is elegant in a way, second one is robust and heavy duty machine. Good work on angles.
  10. This is my first large spaceship. My goal was 1m long, in minifig scale, as much greeble as possible and no BL purchases. Started with one scetch on A4 paper and after a month I ended up with 140cm long 57cm wide and 27cm tall spaceship weighting over 12kg. Rotation disk behind main cockpit is driven by XL motor. Haul is allmost totaly filled with bricks and plates and it is rock solid. Do not bent a bit supported only on one point in the middle. Ment as exploration vessel with no weapons. Cockipt has place for tree minifigs and in landing bay there is a small craft with minifig inside. Did not try to do model of any spacehip from movies but you might finds similarities with some I guess. Some pictures in 'natural environment': And more photos at BS: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=556489 or http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/412959
  11. Imressivly quality prints of bricks compared to what I see my friends can produce with their 3D printers. Technology (avaliable for reasonable price for home users for hobby) is still not accurate enough to create copys. More then reproduce original parts will be interesting to make parts Lego is not producing and will be of a lot help for all kind of SNOT techniques like:
  12. Entire figure is superb. Details like net over exposed skin, helmet, shoulder canon makes it 100% recoknizable. Love it.
  13. Very eye catching colors and theme. I like it a lot.
  14. Great Hydra. Seven nice heads squeezed into relatively small space to keep Hydra reasonably small. I am not impressed by fleece. It is reckognizable thow. In official set I belilve they would make it from cloth+3 or four bricks for head/horns.
  15. Why not if shape is good and left enough posibilities for MOCing.
  16. Very interesting roofs.
  17. Thanks to everyone reckognizing this as interesting era in history. History made us who we are. I am worried about future as we might push us back to prehistoric age.
  18. Some 15 years ago at one of the archeological sites protected by UNESCO at Ljubljana marshes the oldest known wooden weel and axle was found, carbon dated to 5300 years of age. In 2014 conservation was finished and it is on displaey in a museum. Together with the oldest flute ever found in the world (12.000 years old) also found nearby. Slovenia is a small unknown countrie, but it is geographical junction of Europe and on a path from Europe to Asia. With nice climath reach soil and many water sources ideal for settelers. Obviously they were samrt back in time and invented many usefull thinks. Living on piles on the watter was one of those practical inventions too! My interpretation: Life on watter: Abandoned hut: Behind the palisade: Revolutionary way of plowing: Domesticated animals, bread baking and skin tanning: It will be a good harvest: Bugatti Veyron 4000 B.C. Casting copper: Who will survive? Beaver dam and nest: Swamp area: Waterfall: View from the baloon: Artwork (unknown artist).
  19. Fantastic build. Looks easy but indeed great job.
  20. For quite some time I had idea to build mansion in secession stile from beginig of 20th century. I ended up with this: And place it into a garden: It is made from all sides. Back: Side view: Roof is full of spikes. Are there too many?: Sight from a baloon: More pics (when public) at: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=552765 I hope you like it. Thanks for comments.

  22. Lovely cration. I like curved walls. Swing frame is very realistic. Tree trunk is not that good but it is hidden behing all these blosoms.
  23. Grat station. I had the priviledge to see it in town layout at exhibitions. Station was well noticable among other buildings. Great job Readhead1982!
