This is fantastic. How did you make the decals?

I built this towtruck http://www.flickr.com/photos/42922809@N03/8710040530/ and my father-in-law really liked it (because this was based off one of his trucks I guess :)) so I built him one. Then one of the AA boss guys saw it and wanted one too, so I will order the parts and build another for him. I never actually set out to build and sell them but it just has worked that way. As far as pricing is concerned I will charge for parts then add about 30%. I really don't know if that is enough but this was my first experience with this and I really have no idea what people charge for commissioned projects so I would also be interested to know.

Do you have instructions? Do you build to order? This is great. I would love one whether or not it gets supported on Cuusoo!

I sometimes find that bricks from the 80s look terrible and wish they were all pristine but sometimes I have even found new bricks can vary slightly in colour. If money wasn't an issue for me I would like to replace my discoloured ones. But like Chilis I just can't bring myself to get rid of the old bricks either! I think pieces chewed by the cat and cracked do look bad and try to avoid them unless I can hide them in the middle of something. Just as an aside I bought the Creator 7346 and some of the green bricks in the Palm tree have cracks and they have only been assembled once and it has only been out of the box for 2 months!

Well I am not sure exactly what I bought. I thought it was the Opera House and I know Oprah visited there but I guess I'll just have to wait until Christmas when I'm allowed to unwrap it!

Hey I really like your train bridge and hanging bridge. They look fantastic. I was just wondering with your wagon ruts wouldn't they merge into one once they are going straight after rounding the corner? Anyway looks great. Keen to follow your progress.

Hello everyone. My Name is Nathanael. I have been a casual observer for some while but never joined until recently. I didn't really have a dark age but more of an old light grey age. Now I have a wonderful wife who actively supports my LEGO addiction. I think in the last 4 years I have well and truly doubled my collection even with buying a house and having two children. The children of course provide a greater excuse for buying more LEGO :) I am 31 with 2 wee girls the older one who at 3 is very much into LEGO and helping dad build all his sets! We tried her on Duplo but she gravitated towards my minifigs and so we decided to immerse her with some city and creator sets. Current favourite is the creator beach house. I don't have a particular theme I collect but I suppose I do like City and Trains. My most recent set was 41999, my first ever Technic set! My MOCing skills aren't great yet but hopefully I can post some stuff here and get some feedback to help me improve. Anyway thanks for taking the time to read this and ask me anything you like!
