  1. There's the 1x11 ram to extend the boom.
  2. There's that but there is also a clip visable, much like the smaller 28t turntable. On closer inspection I also think it's a tiny bit bigger with bevelled teeth, again like the 28t turntable, possibly 60t?
  3. The main issue with the old turn table was that the two halves were held together on the edges of the inner hole only. The outer edges just rubbed against each other. This new one looks to be clipped together round the much larger outer edge making it more solid.
  4. Pause this video at 0:39 pretty sure it's a new and stronger turntable.
  5. (Bin inhale!) The rear axles are a single unit (suspended by 4 springs) that pivots longitudinally to allow the two axles to twist independently from each other by means of a 28t turntable piece allowing full suspension and both rear axles to be connected to the engine whilst all fitting between the dual rear wheels. Simples! BTW has nobody noticed when I mentioned earlier that there is also a new stronger turntable for the crane arm?
  6. Yes, one driving ring and two clutch gears for each function. This means you can change direction of each function individually and without having to switch the battery box. I like very much . First mod will be to add another two levers, making 4 in total.
  7. "And the best thing is that Pneumatics are still called Pneumatics!" I hadn't noticed this before. They wanted to change the name? I remember as a kid I called them pen-knee-aye-you-matics! I kinda knew I was pronouncing it wrong, just not how to say it correctly and thinking back, I think that made them a bit cooler to me, the fact that even the name itself was so complex I couldn't even say it just made them feel like some next level stuff that I wanted to reach. If the name was dumbed down for the sake of the 7 year old I was then I don't think the name would have seemed so cool. If they do want to change it, change it to hydraulic and make it hydraulic What's so good about RC anyway? It's good if you don't want to move to change channels (maybe yall just lazy ) or you want to control something that's moving 40mph (like a real RC toy) or 50 feet up like a crane but other than that I don't see the point of it. All it does is drive up the cost. Personally I think Lego is better being a hands on thing.
  8. I think I see a new turn table. not any bigger but I think stronger and maybe less friction, more like the new smaller turntable. One of those smaller ones can be seen between to two rear axles and I can also see the motor. Looks like both rear axles are connected to the engine. This is all good news
  9. Feel I should thank promobricks for recording and uploading the video. He's the man!
  10. It has the dual rear wheels, suspention on the front axles at least with live axles, realistic steering linkage, 1 wide base on the two wide cylinders very much like this: 1 wide cylinder with metal rod as well!
  11. https://twitter.com/Zusammengebaut/status/560103882286968832 …
  12. Got a tweet, video coming soon, hopefully!
  13. I don't think it steers. There would be no need for the axle to go to both tracks, only one. I think we were lucky to get drive even if it is without steering, that was indeed a nice surprise.
  14. Nuremberg started today for the press. the trade only show starts tomorrow. that crane does look really good, better than I was expecting. I'll have to get rid of that LA though
  15. No photos/videos allowed at London. Press are allowed today at Nuremberg. Hopefully will get pictures/videos after attendees have come home, rested and then uploaded to the net.
  16. "I really underestimated them(sorry allanp )" For your MOC, you are forgiven
  17. This is fantastic. The morphing effect, the speed, everything is spot on to my eyes. Looking forward to seeing more
  18. So, two of the new sizes are only 1 stud wide? That seems strange.
  19. I think it will be basic two function gearbox to control the two winches mounted in the main body. Would be cool if there was two drive rings, one for each pulley, so you you could control both at once in either direction. Also a third for superstructure.
