    10-50 dollars for a Minas tirith set is not possible if you really want to capture the scene. even $100 is not enough for the projects on ideas currently

    I understand. We'll I don't feel so bad getting another goblin king battle. It could make for some more nice brown parts plus I really like the headpieces for the goblin soldiers

    Maybe but why would they release them so early. with the previous two waves of the Hobbit they were released around the last week or two of November when the movie hype train is rolling.

    In the future how much do you guys think the LOTR and Hobbit sets will go up in value? Is this the time to start buying up some of the older sets that are soon to be taken off the shelves or will the sets end up being almost the same as retail price on ebay two years after both themes are discontinued. Let me know what you guys think.

    Yeah they put the vids up as soon as the sets came out, but didn't they get the Brotherhood workshop to do a video showcasing Smaug for them. maybe they had a change of heart more recently

    I'm honestly in no rush to see more pics. I am happy that were getting more Pirate sets next year and when more pics come out I will see them, but I'm not holding onto the edge of my seat clicking the refresh button for the new leaked pictures to surface.

    Well I bet Lego knew from the getgo that if they were going to make a semi affordable molded Smuag it wasn't going to be proportional. I am happy with the Smaug we got though proportional or not it is still much bigger than a minifig

    Yes but the CMF minifigs are all made in china wether or not most of the figures in LOTR theme weren't made in china it seems likely that if a LOTR CMF series was made all the figs would be made in china

    I know I remember when it was announced and I hoped for some of those characters as minfigs as well.

    If you wait ten years it will most likely cost double of the current retail price. Considering that it is going to be discontinued some time in the next year or two.

    Holy cow thats huge. Im shocked at the size comparison between the Poseidon against the Imperial Flagship. Your ship would obliterate the Imperial Flag ship in one volley

    Exactly without a ship the blue coats can't hold there own against the Pirates

    A Balrog would be cool I must admit. I think our only hope of getting a LOTR set is now on Lego Ideas. Lets hope we get Minas Tirith
