Clusterfuck, now that's a lovely description . I feel like I'm trapped in some sort of asylum in there . -
Mafia School: Cirque du Freak: Day 1
Cecilie replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I have to say, there's been a lot of odd and baseless accusations today, I guess everyone's a bit on edge after what happened to Houdini Jr. But Gingeroono, jumping in to vote for Barnabo like that, with absolutely no valid argument is quite suspicious. Dorothea isn't really any better, and is perhaps the one who has accused Barnabo most strongly today, but she seems to have come to her senses and unvoted Barnabo. So I'm going to Vote: Gingeroono (GingerWookie) hoping that this will give us some answers tomorrow. -

Oh no, poor Houdini Jr! His act was so amazing, what will happen to our circus now, are we all in danger? -
A Guide to building a Medieval Village
Cecilie replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I love your guide Derfel . Thank you for doing this! I'm not much of a medievel builder myself, but I can see a lot of your techniques being useful for other themes as well and your guide is giving me loads of inspiration . -

Zezili the clown, here to entertain! Who wants a closer look at this beautiful flower? Now now, don't worry, it won't squirt water or anything -
I did have the Lady group for a little while, until I became and ambassador and was moved to that group instead. Guess I never posted in the Pirates forum in that period... You haven't seen the last of me though

Thanks for noticing . Oh, and feel free to use the palm tree design, I'm pretty sure I didn't invent this design either, I think I've seen it before somewhere, but cannot remember who or where I guess you could say that's exactly why! I'm a girl myself, and in my world of LEGO, historical accuracy doesn't really matter that much , and girls can be whatever they want .

Thanks for the comments guys Trying to make the best out of my lack of old palm-tree trunks... The Pirates of the Caribbean movies are what made me interested in Lego pirates again, so I might be inspired by that particular island . It's hard to have a small desert island be anything but simple, but I tried to make it as piratey as I could

184B It's always good to come back to the secret hideout to bury the treasure and drink some rum! But will they have a problem getting back to their ship?

Mafia School: Cirque du Freak
Cecilie replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I have been following the three latest Mafia games here on EB (starting with Quarryman's Belville Mafia) and have developed an urge to try one out. Hope I'll get to play . 1. No 2. No 3. I would be a juggler! Probably not a very good one though, maybe a clown juggler . My artist name would be Zezili -
Would have to be a very gay prince with that overly pink dress she usually wears . I guess they have to be plumbers to be able to cope with the intricate pipe system of Mushroom Kingdom .
-
The face has such a determined look, I felt it was a perfect fit for my firefighter .
-
It's great to see another episode of EB News, hope they will continue on a regular basis .

Cecilie's Collectable Minifigures vignettes - series 5
Cecilie replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks . The gangster one is one of my personal favourites . Took me quite some time to come up with that idea though... Thank you . Not really, I don't want to redo any of them, and I want them to all be able to stand on their own. Although I did do two that fit together for the scientist and monster in series 4... they could still stand on their own though . You can just make your own then . Wow, thanks! . -
When Mario and Luigi failed to rescue Princess Peach and were captured by Bowser, their long forgotten sister Maria had to step up! After making this, I kind of felt an urge to expand it and make it into a stop motion movie... Maybe some day I'll get around to having the time for such a project .

Thanks for the nice comments everyone . Thank you . I have seen others use flowers still attached to their sprues, which gave me this idea for those trees. Yes, I agree, the landscape itself is a bit boring, I would have wanted the river to be a bit sunken in, but I didn't have the necessary amount of green plates available... Oh, and the next one will be up later today, stay tuned! I felt the cavewoman head was a nice fit here . It's great that we're finally getting some variety in female faces in the collectible minifig series, I just wish the trend would continue into other themes... And I think 6 ninjas is correct, I can't spot anymore either . They better watch out though . The starting point in building the bridge? Well, the important thing is the curve, so I started by figuring out how to get the right curve, then I hid the construction details with tiles and railing. And then I tried desperately to attach it somehow without the whole extremely fragile thing collapsing . True, they lose their petals quickly, maybe the loose petals blew away? Or it's right before any of them fall to the ground? Or one of the ninjas collect flower petals and took them all! . If the ninjas win is up to your imagination I guess, but I'd say they're in for a rough time . The samurai is the hero in my MOC after all .
-
Thank you . Men are quite heavy after all, no wonder we can't carry you guys around everywhere .

A lone samurai one her way home from a battle where she was the only survivor. Mercenary ninjas hired to kill her lurk in the shadows, but she has already sensed their presence...

Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigures Series 5 Building Contest
Cecilie replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
A movie scene, eh? Interesting... I'm going to have to rewatch some movies for inspiration I think... -
Thanks lightningtiger . I wanted to add smoke, but smoke with bricks made the scene too "crowded", and I suck at photoshopping . And maybe the sofa/bed (it's a sofabed!) should have had some more damage, at least against the damaged wall... oh, well, maybe next time . Thanks L@go . Yes, it is indeed a bonsai tree, but I think the fire will kill it .
-
This guy hadn't changed the batteries in his smoke detector, and needed to be carried out by a brave firefighter after the neighbours called the fire department...
-
I love it, it's hilarious . And the posing is excellent! Those mechas should be getting a good workout now . Oh, and perfect color choice too . Good luck in the competion .
