The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day Three
Cecilie replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Alright, fresh start. It seems we're at a bit of a standstill here. Maybe it's time to look at some new suspects, instead of just keeping on with the pounding of the same old ones... (and now that it's a bit more quiet, someone who's a bit more slow in the head like me can take some time to look things over and collect some thoughts ). I've had a new look at yesterday's events, and I've picked out this little interesting quote by Betty Swallocks. Now, first, you say that you're leaning towards Ms. Stools. Fair enough. Then, you're hypothesizing a bit about the psychiatrist role. No harm in that I guess (although it can be interpreted as planting ideas that it might be useful to keep the psychiatrist around, in case said person could turn the serial killer into a vigilante, but that's hypothesizing on my part). Then comes the interesting part. You feel that voting for those who have made action claims should be a priority? Wtf? This doesn't specifically refer to the weird psychiatrist role, but to people with actions in general. Do you really think that it's a priority to vote out people who claim to have potentially useful actions? I thought it was a priority to vote out people who are acting suspicious... Also, one more thing. In this post you say you're leaning towards Ms. Stools. But you're not voting for her. And later in the day, when there are already plenty of votes against her, you decide that you won't bother voting at all... Even if you seem to agree she should be voting out, you just say you're going to trust that we don't make any last minute vote changes. Why couldn't you just throw your vote in like everybody else? Now, I may not have a super evolved scumdar like Mehmet or Patrick, but I wouldn't mind hearing some explanations to those oddities . -
The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day Three

You forget that Fitzdef was our contact with the investigator, so objectively, at the time, that at least made him sligtly more useful than you . I'm not convinced you're scum, but I'm a bit confused about wether you trust or don't trust Mehmet now . Oh, and Mehmet, you did actually out Sheila when you said in public that she had claimed Virgin to you -

Aww, the mixed feelings. Yey for the successful cultist lynch . But loosing Patrick is not good at all . I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later though. I really hope the investigator has found someone else to trust. -
Well well, all this new information that has come up has certainly made it easier to vote. The Freud-story sure is a funny one . So I will: Unvote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy) Vote: Melaena Stools (CallMePieOrDie)

I see she answered herself, I have nothing to add. Actually, he can be used to test people who claim virgin in thread (such as Jennifer today). And he obviously cannot share his results in thread or to some random person he thinks he can trust this early if he finds a virgin. But if someone claiming to be a virgin is lying, he can tell us. I think if he's telling the truth about his role, he could come in handy later on (if he survives that long with all this heat on him). Now, I'm not convinced he's not a cultist yet, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

This whole mirror cloak think is rather confusing. I don't understand how it could make the tracker think he saw Mehmet target Fitzdef if none of them did anything in the night, so it would seem that either there's some complete randomness involved, or at least on those three persons (tracker, Mehmet or Fitzdef) is lying. However, if the mirror cloak mirrors investigation results, it could explain the cultist reading (assuming Mehmet is not a cultist). I think the plan to have the results on Mehmet checked again is good, because we wouldn't want to lose a helpful townie because of a broken investigation result. Heck, the investigator could even be insane for all we know at this point, and the cloak had nothing to do with it. On the subject of Jennifer, I would like to add one more thing. If anyone remembers, I voted for her yesterday on the grounds of her weird voting strategy. Nobody else latched on to that. And while she still only had the one vote against her (Ophelia voted for her later in the day), she contacted me in private wanting to explain her strategy to me. I'm not saying that makes her scum, but I did find it weird that it was necessary with a private defense to me after the one little quiet vote. Now, seeing as more people seem to think she's scummy today, I don't mind placing my vote for her again. Maybe she'll come after me more agressively this time Vote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy)
-
Is it just me who thinks Mehmet is overreacting a bit to the claimed investigation result? In my opinion that just makes him look even more scummy. I don't at all like the idea that Mehmet could be a cultist, if there really are as many as 13 people who have shared their roles with him. But that's all the more reason we need to find out if he really is a cultist or not. Lynching him could give us some results, but it's a shame to loose a vocal and helpful townie if he was framed or the investigation result is false in some other way. I'm going to ponder this some more before I place my vote.

MOC: Assassination at Golden Dragon Dojo
Cecilie replied to mordatre's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This is really great! You achieved an awesome sense of action with this simple technique. And the dojo looks very good as well. Love how you made that golden dragon too . -
Maybe you're right. But I'm guessing they can both kill and investigate on the same night, so it would help them determine who to kill. But I guess it really doesn't matter to them as long as they can kill us all off... And just for the record, I'm not accusing him of being scum, I'm just saying his roleclaim doesn't automatically make me trust him. If Mehmet really is a cultist, and he is speaking the truth about how many people have trusted him with their roles, then we are in real trouble...
-
I don't think we really want him to out virgins in thread, that will just make it easier for scum to know who to target. Which is exactly why I find his role to be a bit odd for being a townie role. I would think this would be a very good role for scum to have, since they need to kill the virgins. Just saying... His roleclaim doesn't exactly clear him as town.
-
Uhm, Easter Eggs? What Easter Eggs? I didn't know they celebrated Easter in holes in the desert . And what rule did you break?
-
It was just a manner of expression... if someone actually planned that, they're either crazy or a cultist. True, but is that worth sacrificing a virgin who didn't get a chance to defend himself? Since the virgins clearly are the target of the cultists, we should be careful just sending the quiet ones to their grave...
-
Aw, darn... two virgins killed on the first day, this is not good... The whole crazy jumping around with who to lynch in the last hours clearly wasn't a good plan .

The Curse of IMHOTEP - Confirmation & Discussion
Cecilie replied to Rufus's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Just finished reading the last pages of day 1, *phew*, that was a hectic end to the day! I see that thinking I can happily go to practice after work thinking the day is almost over and nothing much will happen in the last few hours is a big mistake . -
Ehm, no, helping to explain is not suspicious. Claiming to know something that looks like information only scum would know is suspicious .
-
Wait, what? Saying that just made you look suspicious... Was that your intention?
-
Really nice! Lots of great detailing, and lovely spiral staircase inside. I especially like the backside, which looks like it could have been a front side as well
-
Of course, it would be wise to eventually decide on a conviction instead of spreading the votes too much, but there's still plenty of time to make people sweat a little
-
Seems like votes are flying in many directions, unsurprisingly really, everyone looks suspicious in this first day . But the person with the most unusual behavior the way I see it, is Jennifer with her "I'll vote for whoever gets the first vote". That really doesn't make any sense, and whether it's some crazy cultist plan or something else, I don't know, but the arguments against the other people with votes against them aren't really any better, so I'll Vote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy) for now.
-
I feel like we're not really getting anywhere here. And there has been so much bickering today I can't ever hear myself think I don't really understand the choice of Toulouse for a vote though (other than that he's been mostly quiet today, but so have many others, including me...), but I guess it at least proved that Jennifer wasn't lying about choosing to be a sheep as a strategy . I think I need to go back over today's events before I can make up my mind about who to vote for...
-
Now now, all this bickering... Can't we all be friends? Oh, right, there are evil cultists among us, never mind then. Let's all fight to the death! Uhm, wait, that's actually what's going to happen here... As for the idea of not lynching anyone today, I doubt that would be possible to achieve with this many people arguing over anything and everything. Besides, it won't help us learn anything, so I say we at least try to lynch someone who's acting annoying if nothing else comes up .
-
And a damn fine woman too So, we have some evil doers among us. I'm sure my clever boss will figure out who they are. Meanwhile, I'll have some breakfast. Mmmm, yummy scorpion balls.
