I displayed my mountain at LEGO World Copenhagen last weekend, and I made the ski lift run just in time for the event. Here's a little video of it running, for anyone interested: http://www.flickr.co...ihf/8497857481/

I just came across this, and since it's Fabuland month, I couldn't help myself but to bump this thread. I just love those funny little scenes that LEGO printed on the box . You don't see much of that kind of ting nowadays. And great review Darkdragon, even recreating all those scenes

I see I was able to squeeze in to top 6th . Thanks Si-Mocs for hosting this awesome contest that made me have all this fun ideas. And thanks to everyone who voted for my entries . And of course, congratulations to all the winners!

I would have signed up, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm super busy the first half of February, and even abroad with limited internet access for a week. Sorry Bob.

I did not see this coming! And now I'm just sad I'm going to LEGO World next week, since I won't have time to get building until after then, but I'll kick in to high gear when I get home! How is it unfair? You don't HAVE to participate you know . And if you really like Fabuland and want to participate, it's not like it's impossible to acquire any.

I think there's been a bit too much focus on mechs and war machines in this contest, so I have chosen to award my votes to the the ones I deem the best ideas/builds that differ from that standard template 9. Mutant Bunnies - daisy - 1 point (Technically you could count the huge bunny as a war machine, but I think of this as an awesome idea and clever use of Duplo. Plus, it made me laugh ) 15. Chicken Moonbase - vecchiasignoraceppo - 1 point (Brilliantly themed space base. This is the best one in my opinion) 36. The Source of All Ants - Ryclen - 1 point (Totally crazy idea, and an awesome build to go with it) 50. Momo's Machine - CarsonBrick - 1 point (Gets a point for share cuteness. Also, steampunk!) 57. Squirrel Space Station - Etzel - 1 point (space station tree, with squirrels gathering space nuts! I love this idea)

6. Ice Planet Colony - Dark_Alamez - 1 point (I'm a sucker for Ice planet, and this is so well executed, both color scheme wise and building technique wise) 13. Invasion! - 4estFeller - 1 point (nice clean play with colors, and inventive buildings) 26. Hitchhikers' Offices Hijacked! - Dan Church - 1 point (I love those glass buildings on the floating rock, and who isn't a fan of the Hitchiker's guide?) 28. Ice Planet - Crystal Station - Siercon and Coral - 1 point (another awesome ice planet build, with so many fun details, I can't resist...) 32. Survivors - Teazza - 1 point (the play with colors vs monochrome really does it for me here, great idea!)
