  1. I think the sorters of the 1x6 may have been slightly drunk I seem to be missing 36 of them, but then ace's kit had 16 too many Still building it, so no idea if anything else is missing. Build on the couch, that's what I'm doing
  2. You're welcome Maybe I should get to building mine to check the state of it's parts .
  3. It was really awesome that you made the trip all the way over to Denmark, hope you had fun and didn't freeze too much! Good luck with the jet lag, that can be a pain ...
  4. Thanks! Yeah, Blacktron II is awesome too, I had both growing up, and both have some really spiffy color schemes that I like a lot. Thank you! The practice on doing rockwork on my winter mountain is paying off Thanks. I love working with strong color contrasts
  5. It never ceases to amaze me how people pull off actually transforming transformers ( ) in Lego . And Bumblebee is my favourite! Like I said on flickr, absolutely love the wings!
  6. You had Fabuland in kindergarten? Lucky you Thanks . Ah yes, the flower technique. I rarely remove flowers from their sprue anymore, so much more fun to work with them like this. This technique is really simple, I just take 3 sets of flowers on their sprue and attach one flower from each to a flower stalk. Then I attach another flower stalk to another flower from the groups, and attach more flowers to them again, and sometimes join two sets with two flower stalks, to get a more curved effect. Just try it out and play with it, you'll be making flowery trees in no time .
  7. I'm planning to take some proper photos of my model now that I'm back, and make a post about it in Special themes. I hope everyone else will do the same! There were so many awesome entries, they deserve to be showed to a larger public!
  8. *chants* Everything is awesome! Everything is cool when you're part of EB! Everything is awesome! We made it home with 22km of range left . It feels sad to be back, I miss everyone already!
  9. Category A 2 - 1 point 4 - 1 point 15 - 1 point 18 - 1 point Category B 7 - 2 points 15 - 2 points Some really great entries in here
  10. Indeed we do I hope you're not keeping him up then . He did look very tired
  11. Thanks . Too bad I couldn't get it to cross over between the curved track and straight strack without derailing. Stupid Lego for not making straight narrow train track Thanks Mike! Experementing, because I'm using something like 3 different techniques on the water streams there, trying to figure out what I like best I guess it's mostly about finding ways to hide the technic pins holding the trans clear beams together, and look natural as falling water. Yeah, they're perfect for it!
  12. Thanks! It would be really cool if Ice planet got a resurrect as a theme. Ice planet 2022!
  13. Final touches? More like build the thing I'm getting on that this weekend ...
  14. You people are all nuts, finding all these crazy 10s
  15. Thanks . It was one of my favourite themes as a kid, and my definitive favourite space theme. Thanks! I tried to work with mostly the ice planet colors, with a few other color splashes inside, especially in the lady's room . It was kind of hard to get the rooms photographed though . Maybe I should have done some overhead shots of the interior . The floors come off as modules. It was late and I was tired when photographing Thanks! Haha, nah, I imagine they have mostly freeze dried food to eat, so the table is just for resting their elbows while eating out of the packaging . Oh, and of course. the table is coated with anti-slippery material or something, so things stick to it Thanks! . The sideways garage doors started from a need to have a wider opening, but I think the striping fits better with the overall build like that too.
  16. I love this! Cute and funny
  17. Love the color scheme! And great landscaping
  18. Oh that poor Blacktron II guy in the cave I guess nobody rescued him Nice vig btw, I like that little ice planet rocket on the wall
  19. I'll echo the others here, very nice colorscheme. And a great way to do the hydrogarden . Nice detailing on the roof too
  20. Thank you . I went treasure hunting in my old childhood Lego to find those ice planet figures and faces Yes, the cylindar is supposed to be some sort of elevator. Thanks Gotta use all those white slopes I have for something Yey Thank you The tread marks was actually the first thing I made, it's vital to the build!
  21. When not working, the inhabitants of Ice planet 2002 go home to their small but functional apartments. The apartment complex is fitted with a garage, and high speed satellite communication. Rooms are rented fully furnished, but some choose to add their personal touch. More pictures on flickr
  22. Thanks Yeah, I know ... It's still a work in progress, and I had hoped to have time for some more landscaping before this event, but alas... Next time! Thanks
