Mafia After Dark - Conclusion: City of Gods
Cecilie replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Awesome Mostlytechnic, you pulled it off! Good job I was kind of relieved when Corny killed me, because that meant I didn't have to stress with finding internet time/access (wifi here sucks...) at the LEGO Fan Weekend here in Denmark where I am right now . Kristel, you really played well, I did not see the swinging axe to my face coming at all, even though I suspected something was off from the inconsistencies in what you were telling me. When townies start lying to you, you know they don't trust you . But you wouldn't have had to pull off all of that charade, because our protection action was locked in at 24 hours into the day (well, at least we thought so, but apparently Tammo thought he'd told us we could submit it anytime...). I have to wonder, why did you pick Pala as scummier than mostly? -

Oh hey, I know, maybe you both are . No idea what Penelope is trying to get at here. Do you believe in Colin or not? I mean, come on, it's only been one time he has failed his kill. And it's pretty obvious Bernard wasn't the vig, the way he was pounding on Colin until he claimed. If he was the vig, why stop accusing Colin after he claimed vig? Seriously And the way Terrance was accusing Colin of being an SK, that would have been a really odd approach if the vig was himself. Besides, he should still have been able to kill that night, since the vig kill happens before the lynch. Oh my pulse is throbbing with love for my sexy car -

Hasn't even bothered to show up today. Time to go, Candy: Vote: Candy (Captain Nemo) -

Cecilie replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You would have made a point about being around if you were scum, really? Just so we would be sure of your scumminess? Not really, no . You may think it's baseless, but you can't erase what's been said. That's why it's called slipping up And what do you mean I need to get a life? I have my beautiful red car to share my life with! Oh wouldn't you like to know? I think we're going to let Kristina be the judge of when this becomes vital information that needs to be shared in public. We wouldn't want to make it easier for you to pick your kills now, would we? -

Guess I'm third in line here: Shit. Really?! Crap.... Ok ok, focus. We're still here, so we still have a chance. I'd say the three remaining scum are Candy, Priscilla and Peter then. We should get Candy lynched today since she couldn't be killed. -
Mafia After Dark - Day 6: Road to Perdition
Cecilie replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oooh, Priscilla is scummy! But in all seriousness, here are some quotes I've picked out from you that have pinged me to some extent (and to be fair, I've only picked out things your current you has said): This was your second post I think. And here's your explanation for why you're voting for Dexter. Now, at this point Dexter had 4 votes and you had 2. It seemed clear that Dexter would be lynched and not you, and your first argument is that you're trying to save yourself. Wow, that's townie of you... Now, I get that it's hard to come in in that position, but I feel you had the wrong focus from the get-go here. This was in the following day. You're clearly trying to make a point here that you wouldn't change your vote. But if you're town, why make such a fuss about if you were online or not? If you were town, there would be no reason for you to want to change your vote off Dexter to save him. Online or not. Here you're trying to get Kristina to reveal information about this unkillable investigator. No townie would need that information. But a scum would need it to know if they can safely claim investigator or not. Here it is again, the scum mindset. Highlighted for your convenience. If you were town, wouldn't you be more interested in who is our biggest asset? And then it's what Peter's already pointed out today. A townie wouldn't need to speculate about who has PRs. If you were town, you would rather want to try your best to cloud such things to make it hard for scum to guess who our PRs are Yeah, my top suspects right now are the unvigkillable Candy and you. -

Hm, no kill yet, I hope that means scum failed Now we're looking up! And good job with the riddle Kristina, if you got it. -

In my experience I don't think I've ever seen a scum team that doesn't have a blocker, but I'm not sure how common the protector role is for scum. In any case, they don't rule each other out, as they serve quite different purposes. -

I don't believe Colin is a serial killer, but if he is, we still have time to worry about that. I would imagine a serial killer needs our numbers to be down to 1-1-1 to win, and we're not quite there yet. -

Yeah, sorry, I'd just hate for us to miss this opportunity to get two in one day, since the scum have been so nice as to let us keep Colin for another day. I agree with this. If the scum have a means of protecting against the vig kill, and their deadline is the same as Colin's original deadline, then I would guess they'd protect Terrance out of the three, since he seems to be the brains. If however, their deadline has been relaxed like Colin's (I would think they still have a harder deadline than Colin, since the kills have been shown before the end of the night, so they would have had to have their actions locked in by then), then that means they could now go ahead and protect Candy if we're basically telling them that's who we're going for, so we should leave it up to Colin to pick between Candy or Priscilla. I'm assuming they can't block Colin. Nobody was silenced today, and Colin wasn't blocked from killing yesterday. On another note. Does anyone remember our dear late Bernard calling out for the investigator? I first thought he was trying to pull a sting to lure out scum into claiming investigator, but I've been contacted by Kristina tonight, and this is not the case. She has reason to believe there is still an investigator among us, because the investigator apparently cannot be killed. I would be very surprised if we've lynched the investigator without them role-claiming, so why has nobody come forward with an investigator claim? So dear investigator, whoever you are, now is the time to speak. If you have results on those of us still alive now, it would be of great value to help us determine if we're on the right course. If we make any more mistakes now, it could be our last. -

Voting has opened, so I think we can freely discuss your kill now. I've been thinking about the deadlines, and you said you originally had it at the 24-hour mark. That probably means that's the scum deadline for sending in whatever counteractions they might have. It makes no sense for them to be able to wait longer, if your kill can go in any time now. I'm going to say that Candy is actually least likely to be protected by the scum, as she seems to be the least useful of them. Therefore, I'd rather we lynch Terrance, and have you kill Candy. If others disagree, I'll gladly change my vote so we can secure a lynch, but for now: Vote: Terrance (TrumpetKing) -

I'm confused, the biggest suspects, Terrance, Candy and Priscilla are arguing between themselves, and about if we have a serial killer Are the scum trying to confuse us all by having these arguments, so that we will only lynch one of them and think the others are clear? -

Good to see we finally nailed one . I felt confident about Dexter, but I'm surprised about Rolfe turning up town. This means our numbers are probably still really tight. Worst case we're at 4-4 now? Or best case is probably 5-3. I think Colin is right this might be our last day if don't get this right Sure you don't mean that it's so long since you've played town that you are struggling as scum to remember how a townie should think? Because it's not like townies will forget how to think like townies and think like scum instead You seem to be forgetting we still only have your word for you even having asked that question. Your list would hold a lot more validity if you were confirmed as town. As much as just lynching Priscilla, Penelope and Candy sounds like a good plan (I see no reason lynching Colin at this point), as they have seemed quite scummy, at least Candy, we still can't be sure the list wasn't just some way for you to try to deflect attention away from Dexter by getting us to talk about something else: a list he wasn't on. -

Says you? You haven't exactly been the most vocal amoung us You think Dexter, Rolfe or Bernard was the vig? Then how do you explain that none of them counter claimed or even discredited Colin's claim? Agressive much? Is your team not doing so well anymore? -
Mafia After Dark - Day 5: Scarface
Cecilie replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Are you just trying to make us curious about it? Oh wait, you're dead, you can't answer that I'm a bit surprised they didn't take out Colin. That seems a little overconfident... -

I'm not assuming anything, it's just a theory that might gain more validity when we find out Dexter's allegiance. But I have to believe we made the right choice, I voted for him after all! -

Cecilie replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
And that's all you have to say about it? Wow, you're doing a great job convincing everyone that I am more likely to be the scum on that list than you You also seem to be forgetting the third option, which is that the hippie did a better job at gathering that list before providing an answer to Terrance than Terrance did, and that Dexter is the scum that should have been on Terrance's list. The way I've understood Terrance is that he didn't give the list specifically to the hippie, so this is quite possible. But maybe that theory is hard for you to see, since you know it's false because you are the scum on the list -

Mafia After Dark - Night 4: Pulp Fiction
Cecilie replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Naturally, the person who took the hard hat isn't going to claim that, as it renders it useless. I myself was too late to answer the riddle, so I didn't get anything. That would be a very clever move, but there's one other possibility. On the day that Dogukan claimed he had been silenced (except he spoke anyway...), there was one other person who claimed to have been silenced: Adelaide. Now, both of those have been verified as town, so there's no reason to believe any of them were lying. I think I remember Adelaide said the wording of her message implied she had been blocked, so if this silencing thing is in fact the side effect of a block, it's only natural that both town and scum have a blocker. It's possible that Peter was blocked by the town blocker, but that brings the question, who did the scum blocker block? Or maybe Peter is the scum blocker, and since he was blocked, couldn't perform his action... That is indeed very interesting... Maybe you need to put on your reading glasses? -
Mafia After Dark - Night 4: Pulp Fiction
Cecilie replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Indeed... maybe they're trying to just confuse us, by voting a little here and there, and not put all their cards in one basket. Or maybe they thought that if they could just sway one or two townies, they'd get the lynch over to someone else. We don't know how close the numbers really are right now... If they are really close to winning, they could be getting overconfident . -
Mafia After Dark - Night 4: Pulp Fiction
Cecilie replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So it's either me or Terrence, but you're not providing any reasoning why you think it's me? And then you say Rolfe is a runner-up, but say you'd probably rather vote for him than me (except you don't place a vote... want to see if you have to backtrack and jump on Dexter's bandwagon, do you?). You're totally not making any sense. And why don't you think Dexter is scum? Mostly everyone else does, why don't you? He's practically rolling over and playing dead here, it's not his style at all. Dexter is scum, and I think you're his scum buddy. If you disagree about Dexter, please enlighten us as to why. It's important that we make the right choice today. If you know something we don't, spill it! -

No, I just noticed you went suddenly pretty quiet after Colin role claimed, which I found a bit odd, that's all. Ah, so it's very flexible then, that's good. If it was me, I wouldn't do it. But I'm a coward Or give us other ideas than lynching Dexter ... I think enough has been said about Dexter anyway, and if Colin holds off his kill, I think we'll be safe another day even if we're wrong about this (assuming there are 4 scum, we're now at 7-4, so if we mislynch, it will be 6-4, then 5-4 if they succeed in killing one of us. If there's 5 scum, and we mislynch, it's even worse...). Vote: Dexter Fairbanks (def) -

Speaking of Bernard, did he suddenly disappear? Not sure that is wise... I would assume scum have some way of countering the kill, either by a block or a protection. If it's a block, you're going to be useless now anyway, but if it's a protection, we don't want to give them any hints as to who to protect. Although I can appreciate how hard it is to make wise vig kill decisions alone. I'd suggest just looking at who's been highly suspected lately, and preferably by people you feel you can trust, wether they had to die to give you that trust or not, and go with that. Unless you think it's safer not to with our numbers the way they are right now... If we mess up our lynch and our vig kill today, I fear there won't be a tomorrow . But if we get two right, we'll be in a much better position than we are right now... Well, that was helpful, right? In any case, I think you should inform us of your target when there's no longer time to change it (when's your deadline, anyway?), assuming whatever counteractions scum might have will have the same deadline, so that we won't start a lynch on a person with death written all over them... Never mind, I see he's back
