  1. Whoa whoa, Colin, why are you claiming? Nobody has even placed a vote for you yet? A little rushed, don't you think? Well, not that you haven't been hinting your guts out that you have a night action all day night.
  2. I'm surprised not more of you have taken the question, as that seems to be the most useful action to uncover truths here, or at least get some form of information.
  3. Conspiracy theories is my speciality And no, I can't see what you're working on, and I haven't ignored anything. Did you miss my earlier post where I actually outlined my opinion on the people on Terrance's list? Whether or not those are still suspicious of Terrance is irrelevant to the point, which is that he claims one of them is scum based on information the hippie has given him, which we only have his word for. So, either he's speaking the truth, and one of those people is scum (see my earlier post with opinions on those) Or, he's scum and is lying about the whole thing to appear helpful. I've already said this several times. How is that not an answer to your question? I'm still suspicious of him, because there's no evidence that he's telling the truth, even though it would help us greatly if he was. But I'm willing to leave him be for now, and look into the information his list gives us. And I see Kristina has pointed out that Dexter should have been on Terrance's list. Maybe Dexter is the scum we're looking for on that list then. Terrance, any reason why you left Dexter out?
  4. What do you mean he can't lie? Of course he can lie. Rule #5 just renders him impossible to quote exactly what the hippie told him. What new information? He was called out for contributing little and posting fluff. So he suddenly makes a case against you, and then presents this list. It's all very convenient. And now you're trying to do what exactly? Defend the person who accused you? I don't see you providing any input on who on Terrence's list you think is the most likely scum. This smells fishy to me, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the two of you are on the same scum team.
  5. Oh, whoah, ok... 3 more Malones dead. Shit. Our numbers are starting to look very bad, we need to take extra care with our lynch today. I fear we won't last long if we don't nail a scum today (tonight, or whatever, crazy day/night all mixed up ) Terrance's list is interesting, providing he's not lying about his action... Bernard, Adelaide, Peter, Kristina, and me. Yeah, I know I'm not scum, and we all know Adelaide was not. That leaves a list of three people: Bernard, Peter and Kristina. Even though Kristina hasn't been able to bring forward a lot of results, I still believe in her claim. It makes sense for us to have a communication expert when we can't communicate with each other in private, and she hasn't exactly acted very scummy. The only way I can see her being scum, is if she's not really the communications expert herself, but was lucky enough to be contacted by the real one on our first day, and has been happily shielding the real communications expert since, appearing very townie in the process. But if person A is not dead yet, and she is able to contact someone else today, there should be people able to support her story. Bernard is powering through here, and while he is acting a bit strange, I am willing to believe he is town for now. Although I have been known to be bad at reading him . That leaves Peter. I have to admit, I've almost not noticed Peter at all. He seems to be coasting easily through here. I can't really remember anything of note he has said, so that's a really good position for someone to hide in ... Yeah, out of Terrance's list, if it really is a true list, I'd pick Peter as the scum. As for the whole Patricia ordeal, what Kristina just said about why she may have been killed is interesting. It provides a different reason for her death than just who she was accusing, namely her potentially being Person A. Naturally, scum would want to take the protector out, so they can freely kill the communications expert. However, we can't discount the fact that the choice of Patricia may also have been because of who she was on to, or at least partially so. But which of Colin, Dexter and Rolfe? Or how many of them? What was her arguments against them anyway? I'll have to look back to see if anything has become more or less validated after the allegiance of Dogukan was revealed. I seem to remember there was something about them suggesting having him investigated instead of lynched? Well, that kind of hinges on Dogukan being scum. But in Dexter's case, I think it was a lot of behavioural analysis behind her accusations as well. I don't remember what she said about Colin or Rolfe, there was so much bickering with Dexter ... And then Dexter being all "well, better her than me", yeah, very townie... The question is, which is our strongest lead? It would be awesome if Bernard saw someone targeting Patricia, as he seems to be claiming, as that would be our most solid lead yet.
  6. Wait, are you saying you watched Patricia? Then maybe we will have caught us a killer! I have no doubt Patricia must have been on to something if the scum chose to kill her. The question is just how much she was on to... And the fact that she was having quite a bit of a disagreement with Dexter is interesting. Argh, scum are playing tricks with our minds, aren't they? Is he now? If Dogukan turns up scum, then the whole shenanigans with you wanting him investigated certainly becomes more interesting... Although the same applies to Colin... Hmm... I need to think this over... And Terrance suddenly coming out and making a case against Priscilla now that he's being scrutinized makes me uneasy. I've seen this kind of scenario before. A scum member is getting heat for not contributing much or only fluff, then they suddenly make a more convincing case about someone, and bam, all suspicions on them disappear, "oh, ok, I see you're trying to help. You must be town after all". For all I know, Priscilla is your scum buddy and you've planned this all out... Yeah, better keep an eye on both of you...
  7. I actually suggested you had caught up, but where pretending you hadn't And don't think you're above scrutiny just because you're old and senile Personally, I'm reserving judgement of person A for now for a few reasons: - We don't know Dogukan's allegiance yet - There were other reasons why I and others found Dogukan scummy than the whole Person A/Shane/Dogukan business, which in any case could have been caused by misunderstandings. - Person A has claimed protector, so it's wise to keep the identity hidden until there's enough suspicion to bring the person to "trial". Even though protector is easy for scum to claim, we shouldn't just throw a claimed protector under the bus too easily. Hopefully, Kristina will be able to contact more people who she can perhaps trust enough to share Person A's identity with, so that if she is killed, someone else can bring person A forward for not doing his duty in protecting her.
  8. So the zombie killer chose to kill Adelaide. As has been mentioned, she was on my suspect list, so I'm hopeful we've nailed (with the help of an axe murdering zombie) two scum now, but I guess we'll have to wait and see... On the note of Bernard, could he be acting like he hasn't caught up on purpose, to create an illusion that he doesn't have a scum team that's bringing him up to speed?
  9. Hm, I went back to check, and it seems the zombie kill happened only about 6 hours before the day ended (unless I'm totally miscalculating here...). As for Colin, I don't think I'm seeing what Bernard is seeing that makes him so convinced he's scum, but there is something about him that sets him off from how I'm used to seeing him. Since this is only metagame-feelings, I'm not ready to vote for him just yet...
  10. Unless you have some brilliant strategy to protect them, they'd be toast pretty fast... I doubt this is going to help us more than it hurts us at this point.
  11. Well that is worst case scenario. But if Person A is scum, then we can hope that there is a real town protector out there who's looking out for Kristina, seeing as she's our only claimed powerful town role at the moment.
  12. Are you still being sarcastic, or was this an actual question? Kristina claims to have contacted two people with her communications skills, Shane and Person A. Furthermore, she claims that Person A has claimed protector to her. Does that clear it up for you? And yes you are Bernard, you senile old man My opinion on Dogukan hasn't changed, so I will Vote: Doğukan Akbulut (Dragonator) We can worry about Person A later. If Person A has claimed protector, we have to trust Kristina's judgement for now, as we don't want to make it easy for scum to kill our PRs. And if Person A is scum, he's going to want to try to maintain his cover as long as possible by not letting the scum team kill her, which means either Kristina is protected by a real protector in Person A, or protected by the fact that scum are trying to have a foot inside the communication ring or whatever Kristina is able to set up. But I hope and trust that Kristina will use her powers wisely, and not blab too much to Person A unless she can get him verified somehow.
  13. That's interesting. Especially since we have no tellings of a second person being silenced on the first day. I guess it's plausible that both scum and town have a silencer, although it seems like an odd town action to have... I can't imagine it's the only effect of the action in that case, more likely it's the side effect of another action, like a block. Or either you or Dogukan is lying about having been silenced
  14. I bet you're bulletproof too, right?
  15. I was where when you posted your question? I only saw it about an hour ago or so, and took some time to think about what has been said and done and made my list. After I made my previous post, I was busy doing other things and didn't come back here until recently. I want discussion, yes, because mostly everyone has been lurkers up until now, heck I'll even admit that I have been, and I'm not proud of it, but I've had some partying business to take care of. I'm pretty sure there are both townies and scum among the lurkers. With the amount of contributions having been as low as it has up until now, it's been very easy for everyone to be a lurker without having a lower post count than average, and thus particularly standing out. What I meant by saying "picking from a number of low-contributors" is exactly that. From the remaining players, a few have been at least seeming to try hard to help town, and they have not struck me as scummy, leaving only a huge pile of low-contributors to pick from for spot number 3. In competition with Adelaide for third spot, I had Penelope, partly for the same reason as Terrance, but to a lesser degree as I don't remember her as quite as active as Terrance, Candy for seeming to just pop in every now and then to make some comments about the most recent events and then disappearing again (but I don't know her, so I don't know if that's her usual style) and Rolfe for some thing he said about being shocked Byron flipped town. It wasn't exactly a strong lynch, but seeing as he seemed to at least try to get something out of that night, he doesn't get the third spot either. I also thought about how I feel Colin came out strong on our first night, but then has seemed to provide less and less interesting comments as time has gone on. But as it stands, I feel Dogukan's lynch is the only one I'd support right now, unless more people show up to help shed some light on our predicament. I never suggested lynching a lurker either, I just provided my top 3 list of people I'm keeping an eye on. And don't think you're off my radar either Bernard, the way you've jumped in head first, trying to get us to smooch up to you as always... You're not fooling me anymore! Guh, wall of text monologue... I hate monologues. It's much more interesting to have discussions! Can't do that alone, can I?
  16. I really don't see the purpose of Kristina's move outing herself as a communications expert like that and drawing so much attention to herself if she were scum... But then again.... Agh, no, don't make me more paranoid than I already am, damnit! I believe Kristina to be town at this point. As for a list, well, there's not really that much we have to go on here, but I guess if I had to pick a top 3 right now it would be: 1. Doĝukan (damnit, wrong way with the accent thingy...) - I didn't find him particularly scummy until Kristina's story (just non-contributing...), although Shane turning up town casts some doubt on it all. But the way he just "had to" speak while claiming he was silenced comes off as a bit too desperate for my taste, so he gets top spot on my list for now. And where is he now, anyway? 2. Terrence (no, I'm not just flipping Bernard's list upside down, I swear ) - it's the way he just doesn't seem to be his usual active townie self. I guess I'm metagame-suspecting him 3. Uhm... third spot is hard, I could pick from a number of low-contributors here, but I think I'll go with Adelaide. Something about her, can't quite put my finger on it. I guess it's my gut feeling No, really, we need more discussion. It has been too quiet in here. We need to step up our game!
  17. That sentence made absolutely no sense to me, why would Person A not know about being in contact with Kristina before she told everyone else about it . Have you been drinking? echo echo echo
  18. ace and I are coming for sure! And we'll take a cabin for ourselves, please (let me know if I should book this myself).
  19. Am I missing something? How would that clear the claimed protector? Off the hook for this particular thing maybe, but cleared?
  20. This isn't exactly going very well Maybe you should, I don't know, ready the Day 2 thread? We don't know for sure that he broke any rules, we only have his word for it that he did. If he's scum, don't you think it could be possible for him to lie about that, to make us think he was targeted by this silencing action by scum and thus appear townie?
  21. Oh my, I see a lot has happened while I was out partying. Kristina's revelation is bold, as it puts a potentially very useful role for us at risk. I really hope we have a protector who's paying attention, regardless if it's person A or not. But if it nets us a scum in Dogukan based on her revelation, it might just be worth the risk that she came out like that. As for Jamie's death, I wonder what reasoning might lie behind that. If it was indeed the scum kill, why take out Jamie? It's certainly not a metagame kill, so what did they see in Jamie that was a threat? He defended Byron last night, although he did place the hammer vote to get him lynched (reluctantly it would seem). I guess I just really don't see what made him a good scum target, unless the scum have found out something about him, or they are trying to throw us off something. He did have a vote placed on Dokugan yesterday, could they have tried to silence him?
  22. I hear sleep deprivation can make people go mental, maybe that's his goal?
  23. Wait, what? We're getting killings at the end of the night now? I guess that confirms we have at least 2 killers out there...
  24. Ok, I've gone through what's been said (which is not really a lot ), and while there might be said that there's something off about all of those with votes against them right now, there's nothing really damning in there. But with the way things are going, and given the little time we have left, I feel it's important that we actually reach a lynch, so that we will at least learn something. Even though Byron might not have any damning evidence against him, likewise, there's absolutely nothing clearing him as town. Furthermore, he claims to be vanilla, so if we're wrong in lynching him, at least we're not losing a PR. So for now, I will Vote: The Great Byron (Bob)
  25. Hm, that's interesting. I wonder if it's like a normal block that comes with a sideeffect, or more like a curse that effects your abilities during the day phase, in your case talking. But it seems like a strange thing for an action to only limit your ability to talk during the short day phase, so I would think it's most likely a side effect of another action. As for the voting, I see it's coming down to Byron or Rolfe right now, and we need to get a lynch today even though I feel we're still grasping at straws here. I'm going to review what's been said by and about those two, and come to a decision.
