  1. $250 is defenitely a bit steep (I don't think I've ever spent that much on a single set). The Tallneck was around $90 right? Since this is bigger and does include 2 more minifigures, I do get that it's more expensive than that. But at the same time I don't see it reach above $200 right? (Having said that, I'd probably still splurge for a $250 set since, you know, it's Zelda and all).
  2. Good point. Although it currently appears like he's holding a regular Lego sword (a bit hard to see). Curious to see what they'll do with it, since indeed the sword is right in front of the Deku tree. I wouldn't necessarily need the Hylian shield as a new mold (I think a print would work perfectly well) but the sword is a different topic, almost a must. On another note, if you guys would like to add to the minifigures in this set. Flickr user KaijuBuildz has made some great MOC's of the Moblin and Guardian. Completely buildable with existing bricks (apart from the printed tile on the Moblin's nose.) https://www.flickr.com/photos/155047953@N02/49032275868/in/pool-826719@N22
  3. Yep, you're both defenitely right, that is Ocarina of Time Link. I've never played that game so I assumed it was Majora's Mask, since they both look similar to me. I defenitely tought it was TotK Link as well since he appeared to have this brown padding on his chest, but upon seeing more images of the game it appears to be more around his waist: So yes, now, looking at it again it's defenitely more likely BOTW Link, since Zelda seems to have long hair as well. Do you guys think they'll include a seperate mold for the master sword? Seeing as they already have three unique hairmolds in this set.
  4. It would be weird though if it were 2024? With the game releasing in a few months.
  5. Well, there it is!! to all those who waited all these years, good game my dudes. Man what a day... It appears Link is the Tears of the Kingdom version, which I like! The other one is Majora's Mask, correct?
  6. Oh my god we might actually be getting a real Link minifigure...
  7. Visited a toystore here in the Netherlands today. The gauntlet and helmets are warming shelves big time. Meanwhile the mechs and tinier playsets are selling much better. I feel this repeats the pattern that I experienced back as a Lego buying child. A smaller, cheaper set is much more accessible to children, we've known that. But with inflation, I wonder if it's not the same for the casual adult consumer? With products like the Hulkbuster and BP bust becoming more frequent, I really wonder if continuing big sets like this would do more harm than good? Also, about the potential X-mansion set. I could defenitely buy in to that rumor. X-men 97 is big time nostalgia hype. The show wouldn't be revived if it weren't for the huge nostalgia factor that Disney likes to cash in on. And since Disney and Lego are keen to jump onto nostalgia bandwagons as of late, combined with the increase of sets oriented towards adults, I could defenitely see it.
  8. Seeing how @JeanGreyForever correctly predicted the Malifecent dragon set for the Disney theme. I choose to believe that he saw a prelim of a supposed Zelda set as well, which could be extremely exiting. I do agree with others that the Deku tree might be a bit of an odd choice on first tought, but I could see how it might be an iconic thing that easily ties over into several other Zelda games, thus satisfying fans who prefer one game over the other. The inclusion of a young Link (from Majora's Mask I reckon?) seems to solidify this idea. If this is the case, this leaker has found an extremely solid bit of info.
  9. Any idea on when we'll get more info on the CMF? If it follows suit it should release in September once again right?
  10. This shouldn't be a problem at all anyway. The amount of single use plastics... good riddance.
  11. You could be right, but considering how long animation takes to make, It wouldn't surprise me if What If... S2 doesn't release this year.
  12. I'm mainly looking forward to the CMF for the new character potentials. With the shows we're missing (Moon Knight, Ms Marvel, She-Hulk, Hawkeye) and the upcoming shows (Secret Invasion, Iron Heart, Loki probably) We could get figures from each one of those and then still have 5 slots open. Like I could see: 1. Moon Knight 2. Ms Marvel 3. She-Hulk 4. Daredevil 5. Kate Bishop 6. Clint Barton 7. Nick Fury 8. (insert Secret Invasion character here) 9. Iron Heart 10. Owen Wilson 11. Scarlet Scarab 12. The Hood (?) That would mean at least like 9 / 10 new characters, which is quite exciting.
  13. It would be so helpful of Lego to issue a statement on that. Even as little as saying: "We are currently not in the position to create Zelda sets" would give a lot of people some clarity. Same situation with Mario, there's a movie coming up and Lego has both the Nintendo and Illumination licenses? What am I missing?
  14. Exactly! Even if they would be afraid to jump the gun on a full theme. A single set, Breath of the wild-themed, in the style of the Horizon set, would probably be a safe bet, wouldn't it? The fact that games like Horizon even got a set before Zelda is quite strange (not to question the populairity of Horizon). But isn't Zelda insanely popular and profitable though? I feel like Link can be up there with Mario, Sonic, Pikachu, etc.?
  15. Curses, I thought we were actually close this time... People have been clamoring for Zelda for decades
  16. Sorry for going off topic but, Lemon??? Zelda??? EDIT: Nevermind! Found it :)
  17. Soooo, that means no Minifigure series??
  18. Do you guys think the potential of more Middle-Earth sets is hinging on this big one selling well? I feel like we're coming out of the gates with a bad start in that case... Take it as you will, very few kids will be able to buy a 500+ dollar set, let alone be allowed to buy it. A much stronger start would be a 30 to 50 dollar set with characters kids consider cool, i.e Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Gandalf, knights, soldiers, trolls, dragons etc.
  19. Fully agreed. The attention and care the Harry Potter sets have been getting is the right amount of attention a "new" theme should receive. The sets were and still are so well made that I actually considered buying them, even though I'm not that big on Harry Potter.
  20. Sure would be nice to have a way to fill in all the missing spots right now :/ All the D+ characters we missed. It feels so weird to just skip out on all of them.
  21. Shout-out to the OG's for sticking around all these years, it's been a while my dudes.
  22. Thanks Scarilian that clears things up (and is some Batman-level detective work at that)
  23. I defenitely doubt the credibility and don't want to stir up any fake leaks (we've had enough of those already) but what do you guys think about this user account on instagram called (bohn3r_bricks) who posted a handful of leaks the past couple of days? Several of these leaks sound a bit specific however, yet the username completely throws me off... Also the piece count almost seems copy pasted but I usually don't really pay attention to that.
  24. I'd like to start this conversation off by saying: Man, it's a bummer!
  25. The possibility is certainly there though, With 8 sets releasing easily one or two of them could see Moon-Knight (for example with supernatural creatures / the villain etc) and She-Hulk (Bruce, Abomination etc.). And then holding out on Kamala for the Marvels film.
