These sets could make great D2C's, however the second question I'd ask is would some of them look right? Avengers Facility would, imo, be a lackluster set. It's a drab, chrome society-esque building, Marvel movies have a lot of those, same with the Raft. Unless of course they manage to break the mold a bit and add a lot of interesting sections like with Avengers tower. But for example a Asgard, Wakanda type D2C would visually be much more interesting! Or a Marvel Street set, where you have Fisk Tower, the Law office and Peter's apartment in a street diaroma type set.

Now THAT would make this a whole different deal! If the set included 7+ minifigures I could get behind the pricepoint. Defenitely would like to get Ganondorf in some form. And Zelda mainstays like Beedle or Tingle? Or a Hyrule guard of some kind? Bokoblins? Buildable Moblins? Daruk? Rivali? Sidon?

Really glad this is finally happening!! I'll defenitely be bricklinking the figures though... What gives to also make a smaller set? Link with the iconic Guardians? People would buy that in a heartbeat, especially if it's around 25€ But again, really really happy about this, just wish I had the budget to support the set :')

Are we absolutely sure the X-mansion is happening though? I don't like to burst any bubbles, but so far none of those supposed 'leaks' have come true, it's been a year since those pictures surfaced. I'm still waiting for my Zelda Deku tree...

See that's exactly the scenario I'd despise, we've waited so long for a single Zelda set, the theme has achieved 10000 votes on Ideas like 6 / 7 times in a row, there's so much demand for it. To then wait another like 3+ years until some weird live-action monstrocity comes out is just awful.

Dang that sucks, feels really bad that none of the leaks have come true so far, almost as if it was bait.

Don't wanna crash the topic but was there any leak / news about the Zelda Deku tree for 2024? Feel like we should've heard about it by now if it comes out in April / May?

All this talk about the X-men makes me excited for the show, until I remember recent news stating the animation will be 3D instead of 2D o_o

Lego needs to amp up their game on Nintendo licenses in general, them skipping over the Mario Movie while having both Illumination AND Nintendo licenses is still insane to me...

The Harry Potter sorting hat seems to be releasing next year, which means we finally have confirmation that at least part of the leaked survey was real! Now we're finally getting some stock on that Deku Tree leak, I still hope it's coming rather soon!!

Honestly highly recommend this, I just BL'd Moon Knight for 4,50 euros, which is 0,50 cent more than the retail price. If you want specific figures, defenitely go for BL

Well I just got back from my first hunt, thought I'd have some sort of tactic by picking one from random 3 pack intervals, ended up with 2 out of 3 I didn't want, Echo and Goliath... I'm defenitely not going to keep that up, as soon as MK is on Bricklink I'm copping him. Any tips on getting MoonKnight without a weight? Could give it one last shot...

Hmm... that's a big draw for me. I'd love to get a couple desirables like Kate and Moon Knight, but if I buy several packs and half of them is Agatha, I might just drop out altogether...

So does this account for both the layout theory and the number system? I thought you could at least somewhat guess the figure based on the serial code?

Are the minifigures out in the wild yet? Been looking around here in the Netherlands but so far no luck :/ Is the street date strict?

I'm expecting this as well, this year showed especially the importance of severely tempering expectations when it comes to Lego Marvel in recent years. The tonal whiplash is insane, going from this Minifigure series, which is top-notch, quality printing, new molds where new molds are required, (Hawkeye's bow being LONG overdue) to that Capt. Marvel ship with it's atrocious pricing and sparingly used printing. I also can't believe this ongoing interest in exclusively pumping out Green Goblin / Venom related sets. With Spiderman having arguably the most diverse villain roster. This just reeks of "produce whatever is popular or recognisable" and while I can understand this partly, I feel like you at least need to cater to your adult fans by, for example, including one of these other villains / other characters. But ey maybe these spiderman sets will include Ben Grimm or something, since apparently he's in that preschool Spiderman show? Holding out hope for the X-jet as well, not big on X-men but it sounds like a nice change of pace. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it just included a Wolverine variant, Storm and Cyclops again.

Absolutely baffled that this cmf doesn't include Jubilee. Having said that, they all look fantastic, so excited to finally buy some Lego again! :))Moon Knight... what a dream figure.

I think the main attraction to these kinds of sets is appeal to "adult" consumers. I personally believe casual moviegoers are less likely to display a playset with minifigures out of fear of being percieved as "childish". These pieces however, can be considered display items or collectibles, thus making the gap a bit less of a gap for them. Pure speculation, but one way or another, It completely alienates a huge chunk of the audience. I can't remember buying a set since 3/4 years ago now. Holding out high hopes for our minifigure series.

That's exactly what I mean, the leaks perfectly coincided with several occassions this year, Disney 100, X-Men '97, Return of the Jedi, Tears of the Kingdom etc. At least a few of them could have been expected this year. If released next year, the Deku tree set will still sell, of course, but what does it coincide with? I agree with the sentiment to at least wait until 2024 before worrying, but still, it's all a bit suspicious.

I think the new Dr Eggman perfectly displays how you can combine existing minifigure parts with new moulds for bodies / heads etc. Sidon and the Gorons would greatly benefit from something like that. I think it can defenitely be done in an appealing way, most characters in BOTW are very humanoid in appearance. As for the Deku tree, anyone else feeling doubt about it's existence suddenly? For all the leaks that happened to coincide with it, none have actually been revealed as of yet right? Snow White, Maleficent, Simba, X-mansion... we've seen none of them so far?

Man these look fun, my younger self would be very happy. A very far cry but i'd love to mod Sonic to make him look like the Black Knight version! I do hope they cover some other games, especially Adventure :0 Bit of an odd choice for the Amy set though isn't it? Wouldn't have been my first pick for a Sonic wave.
