  1. Those minifigs are different form the pic of brickset?
  2. Name: Steam Cargo Train, battery Set No.: 7722 Theme: LEGO / SYSTEM / Trains / 4,5v / Train Set Year: 1985 Pieces: 484 Minifigs: 3 Price (when it was in stores): USD 40.00$ (which equals about EUR 37€) Price nowadays (2d hand): USD 120.00$ (which equals about EUR 100€) It's a complete set, where you can play right away. You don't have to buy extra items, like a speedregulator to operate the train. Well, you do need to buy 3 batteries. Which go in the red wagon behind the loc itself. With the red pin on this wagon the direction of the train can be changed. With the signal you can stop the train or let him go. Click on pic to get a bigger one This system is directly copied form the blue area trains, before 1980. You can modify this train with the modern 12v motor or with an old 12v motor form the blue area trains. In the track itself you put the innertrack for powersupply and add a speedregulator. Lets see more pic's of the train: Click on pic to get a bigger one Left side: Click on pic to get a bigger one Right side: Click on pic to get a bigger one Lets see the inside of the loc itself: Click on pic to get a bigger one The battery wagon: Click on pic to get a bigger one And the mailwagon, which is cute : Click on pic to get a bigger one And lets not forget the little station and blue truck for (un)loading the train: Click on pic to get a bigger one And as known of the 12v area, you can build a 2d model of this set: Playability: 8/10 (Build it up, add 3 batteries and start playing. Much cheapier then the elec trains). Design: 6/10 (It's again a steamengine, which lego had made enough of them.) Price: 8/10 (Not the most expensive train, but it's a bit rare to get one in good condition.) Overall: 8/10 (It's a great set, looks good and you can play without buying a speedregulator.) A nice pic to see the 7722 in my layout: Click on pic to get a bigger one And here the blue truck is loading the cargo of the train: Click on pic to get a bigger one
  3. Your idea to build this awesome layout is the best ever. Only where are you gonna walk or sit in the layout to build or 'play'? Maybe you have your own way to move around, but I don't see it. To mine opnion, you need to more attention to the room itself. Place cupboards or selves to place sets on it, which cannot placed in the layout. I see you like ninja sets . You can also paint the corners blue for creating air in your layout. I hope you see what I mean, with this picture. You need more trees and flowers in your layout. I prefer high moc trees. I still need to do this myself too, only money and time is a problem. And I miss a logic in the roads you layed down. Overall I think it's very good what you've made. And I love this pic, something you have inspired me :
  4. These cars are very popular in Australia. I don't know why, but your moc is a great job .
  5. Here you can see the Vestaswindmill in my layout: And here you see how I can let it turn: I blocked the switch to go up, in real life the windmill only goes one why.
  6. 170 Battle Droids, ready to fight. I have now 250+ Battle Droids. And 32 ones are loaded in traincontainers: General Grievous and 2 of his Magna Guards are guarding the containers:
  7. Lego needs to produce more of these sets. And thx for the review. I bought this set, only because of the pig. And real life pigs don't smell 'nice' .
  8. Thx, it's a result of 7 years collecting lego and offcourse a bit luck. A Fiat Panda, my car : And a small update: 29 Spartan soldiers. 21 are already sold . Didn't expect to sell it that fast......
  9. I wanted to show you some pictures of my layout. So you can see what the progress is. I'm also known as Panda in the past, but changed it in AFOL12v. A bit boring, but it shows I'm a AFOL of 12v trains . I'm less active with Lego then in the past, mainly by work and other priority's. It's mainly Legoland sets which is combined to a nice layout. I collect mainly 12v trains, but this need to be decorated with town sets offcourse. So I think in this topic would be the right place to show it. Enough chitchat, time for pic. Click on the pic's to get a bigger one. I bought set 4899 and it remembers at set 6608: The back wheels are to big for a little tractor: I think it's one of the best sets of the city line: A little joke of mine, which it is the original one : Very glad, the airport is getting shape. I bought one, but in bad condition and the wrong roadplates. I bought the right ones and I found the cargo plane 6375 (which I had sold) at a meeting. Here you can see how I store my parts for building projects. Still need to modify the Emerald train for 12v. You can also see I start to build a sailship. It's the Black Hawk of Captain Redbeard, known in dutch comic books. More info you will find in future in the pirate section: I think I take an another bus or train: Something I'm proud of and invented myself, the 9v control where I can control all 9v battery sets: And offcourse the beloved Fiat Panda is also present in my layout and is well protect by Jedi and high rank clonetroopers: Lets see the layout itself. Also a new addition, set 6054 Forestmen's Hideout: The parking place of too many trains: Just give you an idea how the layout looks like: I love that windmill: Nice an army of spartans. There are sold already : I don't know, but I guess most minifigs still don't like spongebob: Here you see where the most of the Starwars and trains are place. Space is rare when you have no space anymore : I hope you enjoyed these pic's. As soon there are changes, I will place more pic's. All train stuff you will find in the train section.
  10. Bought today: And 18 of these: So I can fill up the battle droid containers.
  11. Have you also a building instruction or something of that kind? I would like build this one too. It looks fantastic.
  12. It's a great set. I was in a doubt if I would have this set. It looks much better than this one: But on the other hand, it's much bigger then the miniland planes and sets. Besides I need to be careful with my money also. I pass for this wunderfull set.
  13. Never mind.
  14. Finally the parts came in today, to finish the windmill complete. I made a video, but I doubt it will be clear to see those lights flashing. Click on pic to get a bigger one
  15. You missed one : Click on pic for bigger one
  16. Those trucks looks very good . I wish they were as set for sale at S@H.
  17. It's a MOC. Well it's that good, I thought it's a new set . Good job .
  18. I meant more about the 12v motors itself ........ Have you also pic's about your son makes? I'm curious about that too.
  19. What's left of it, do you want to sell those 12v stuff?
  20. I'm still busy with building it . Now the review is finished .
  21. Name: Atlantis Exploration HQ Set No.: 8077 Theme: LEGO / LEGO Action Theme Year: 2010 Pieces: 356 Minifigs: 3 Price (when it was in stores): USD 50$ (which equals about EUR 50€) Today I'm a proud owner of this set. It would be a nice project of mine town to do some research in the sea. Let's first see the box and it's contains. Click on pic for bigger one Click on pic for bigger one Click on pic for bigger one Click on pic for bigger one Lets see the minifigs which come with this set. Two members of the diving team and one Manta Warrior. Click on pic for bigger one And one little minisub to defend the laboratory. Click on pic for bigger one The foundation where the sub can park, where it can be a laboratory. Click on pic for bigger one Click on pic for bigger one Finally I could start with the sub itself. Click on pic for bigger one Here you can see the interior of the sub itself. Click on pic for bigger one Arrived a bag number 3. Click on pic for bigger one The first weak design of this set. The front motors aren't connected strong to the sub. Click on pic for bigger one The sub can defend itself form monsters, but it can only shoot 4 times. The harpoons need to be reloaded outside again. Click on pic for bigger one The front of the sub is getting shape. Click on pic for bigger one These pieces are new to me. Maybe already seen in other sets, but for me it's THE piece for this set. Click on pic for bigger one The new pieces are used to hold the trans-bright green cylinder hemisphere 4 x 4 . Click on pic for bigger one The end of the building is near. Only the long stickers are hard to apply nicely. Click on pic for bigger one The building is completed now. Click on pic for bigger one Now lets see the set itself around the clock . Click on pic for bigger one Click on pic for bigger one Lets see what it looks like when you open the sub, to transform in a laboratory. Click on pic for bigger one Click on pic for bigger one This is the front of the laboratory when placed on its own foundation, which must be on his place first before diving with the sub. Click on pic for bigger one And offcourse the inside of the laboratory itself. Click on pic for bigger one I hoped you enjoyed this review as much I did, while making it. I'm gonna use it for my town while they still build it. Mine town what to explore the ocean floor. Just in case, the sub will be equiped with some weapons, just in case. The divers won't know it, but they will encounter monters around here and need more than the installed weapons. Soon they have to ask help form the powerminers which need to fight against them. I will make pic's of that later. For now, I'm finish this review. Rating: Color scheme: 8/10, looks very good. Minifigs and accessories: 6/10, to mine opnion it could have more minifigs. Pieces: 8/10, Very good, only a same they used bionicle pieces. Playability: 9/10, for a child I think it has a lot of fantasy for playing a lot of adventures. Design: 6/10, it could have been a little bigger and a room for changing the dive gear. I can't believe they stay many days in the same dive gear. Overall rating: 9/10, design could have been better and the use of bionicle pieces . More minifigs would have been better for playability. The final words: Smaller than some of today's promos, but no worse.
  22. Because I'm getting back again in the lego and I'm proud about this train. That's all. That's a good tip, thx.
  23. Pic's are added again. I wonder what you think of mine first moc?
