When this plane is modified to a passengerplane, it can hold 1500 people. A Boeing 747 can hold 550 people. An Antonov is also designed to land on sandtrack. There're airports where this giant can't land. Not for it heavy weight, but it's too big! It comsumes so much fuel by take off, that a lot of cars can run their entire lives on it. It's massive this russian airplane. Respect to this technology.

Lego is a bit slow at the moment. Parts are dripping in, to build a brigde in my layout. This is where the train has to run above: Here you can see the brigde is getting shape: This is the stadium sofar: Most work will be the building for climbing and going down of the train. We'll see what problems I will get into.

I enjoy it to see this kind of layouts. Lovely to see how you work with 12v lights. Because I have already so many wires of all those remote controls, I won't even think about adding lights. It means more wire problems.

Too bad they didn't used the stockcar idea like set 10170. The train looks good. I think the containers are 2studs too wide and the the truck also. If I buy this set, I'm gonna build this train on 12v and build the wagons like the stockcars of set 10170. Containers are going to be the same size as the stockcar containers. Truck is als gonna be modified. Very good review. How did you get this set already and you're showing off to have 2 sets .

Finally I placed the 4th castle into my Harry Potter corner. In the first picture you can see the hogwartsground with most of the HPsets I own sofar. In the front 3 hogwartsexpress. A closer lef view with Hagird hut and the spider Aragog in the back. And the right view of the most of the castle itself:

As long it will sell. Normal it's 3 years, but we see that some sets only be for sale at S@H for 1 year. Don't worry, 2d hand it's always for sale, only the price will go up or maybe down if you're lucky.

Now I know why some people want only those stands. I really don't know what I should do with it. A great idea and it looks realistic.

Your 12v track is limited to let one 12v train at the same time. Maybe you can look at mine layout and get some idea's. At mine 12v layout, I can let four 12v trains run at the same time without crossing eachother in a area of 5x5meters. I like the idea you have connected the new RC track with the blue 4,5v track. Gives me an idea. Only I have not any space left anymore......... And your layout gives nice space to place buildings, so it won't only trains. Keep up the good work.

@Brickimad: I do not understand your post. Finally the build of the brigde could continu now. Pic's say more than words. Plan is that a road and traintrack goes underneath it and 2 traintrack above. The start of the building: And the progress: Now I need more bricks to continu building.......

I found that sets like 10041, 4553 and 1029 have curling stickers. I replaced those with ones where I leave the stickers on the sheet and used selftape to place it on the bricks. Hopefully this works. Only bad I lost stickers form set 10170.

The 7863 is used to make the manual points 7856 in electric ones. Then they're similar to sets 7858 & 7859. Nothing more, nothing less.

On the first place Starwars, which got me out of the drak ages. If gives also a trigger to collect the grey 12v area trains and sets.

This train needs to be rebuild for 12v . I'm gonna buy this train one day and build it for 12v.

More people interessed in this train in their collection? The train itself it taken out of service in The Netherlands. It's a classic . @Gareth: we dicuss this by pm about the costs.

Insructions isn't finished and properly it never will. Too much work. I can build one for you if you like. I don't know what it will cost.It stand now on a bookshelf in the livingroom, but it can run on the track. Only I'm careful with it, I'm proud about this moc of mine. I have no plans for working lights. It reduces speed of the train itself using 12v light bricks. Glad you like it too.

I sell lately also lego. So I don't spent money at bricklink this year, but earn some .

His attic isn't still ready to build the layout up. His present layout is getting under dust, waiting to be broken down.........

I've 2 of these in my layout, but they work poorly. I've the placed because it's something form 12v area, but never used it.

This is a great layout. Amazing how you build this. Hope to see more. Love to see there are more of me using 12v and 9v together.

As an 12v collector I tried to build elec points for 9v like 12v has. I can tell you, that won't work. I made an elec switch with a normal 9v motor. Well see here: The mechanism is made like this: Maybe this will help you.
