The Greatest Pirate Set of all times! THANKS FOR PLAYING
Roebuck replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Pirates
New to this game Voted sabre island for tactical reasons (not so keen on islands with a skull sets), but I think Crocodile Cage is a neat little set -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Bought it a week ago I always wait until I get a good deal, this time it was 34% of (Norwegian price) and a bricktober set -
So far there are very few important FB persons compared to HP, so if they give FB 2-3 normal sets and 5-6 CMS figs (out of 20) they should be covered. If HP then gets 3-4 normal sets, most of the CMS and hopefully a huge D2C set, I for one will be very surprised if they do not give us Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff uniforms! Heck the CMS should manage that easily alone

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Roebuck replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Do not think it will be a train station, but earlier I had a modular street with a train track in front of it. So it is possible to make without the tracks interfering with the other buildings... Or they could make the station the end of the line, so the tracks go into the modular, but stops there.. -

Sounds closer to the mark! The price is different in each country so a direct converting can end up somewhat of the target -

My guess: 370= big building 160 no-brainer= modular 320= big rollercoaster 145= the next "car" maybe 100= probably a winter village set But I hope for something new among the sets; like a city zoo, pirates imperial fort, medieval market farm/village or even a train -
Yes off course HP is not a creator expert set, I got exited and carried away But 485 is completely bananas, if that is a HP set is going to be epic

From what I have understood normal sets with HP in are unofficially confirmed (we then assume we will get some FB sets also because of the movie). A CMF series is more or less confirmed, so it is the D2C we are more unsure if are real, but we hope a lot If they give us one, maybe it is half the castle then you can buy two to get outer walls roundabout like Kingdoms Joust - 10223 ?

If you compare the earliest HP sets, with other sets Lego made at the time; they where actually good! As you say they have come a long way since they where walking through the valley of the shadow of death... So I am expecting a lot of this new sets

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation

Could there be a big cat mould in the black panther sets? -
This was bad news yes, unless they are jam-packed with animal moulds this is an easy pass for me

City zoo with a lot of animal moulds Probably a follow up to Big Ben... -
Do not know where you guys see the pictures, but earlier reports suggest that the black bear is in the big mining set, the bear in the police set look reddishbrown to me.. Hope this still is the case so we get 2 new bear colours and 1 new big cat in that wave
-
We can hope, but there is a big difference between the normal series and a licensed or movie one. From a normal series we can expect a couple of new moulds. Series 18 is not a completely normal one, but if we get e.g. a sheep costume that could come with a sheep mould as well.. If we get a pigeon in the batman series, that would be much better than even the lobster in the first series, but we could also end up with noting or a small old animal mould like a snake, fish, spider etc

Roebuck replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I like the minifig sets that complement bigger sets, e.g. winter scenes, the flower cart and the fountain. What I would like to see more of is animal moulds included in the sets, e.g. a reindeer for x-mas and a turkey for thanksgiving No matter how well build an brick animal is, in minifigscale animal moulds will always look better.. -
If it is black that is very good news! The two that came with the forest police(I mixed up forest and mountain ) was dark brown with a dark tan snout, but the one in the mountain police set look reddish brown on the blurry pic...

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
Roebuck replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
To bad there are no animals, especially in the city one -
I have made a overview over all the normal animals Lego have released in minifig scale (Not minidoll, duplo, crazy eyes/colours etc). To compare different years, I gave a new mould 4 points, new colour or updated mould 3 points, 2 points per animal or 1 point per small common animal (bats, frogs, spiders etc). Hopefully not to many errors made in the process

Jepp, the more the merrier Excellent figs @Robert8, hope you can include more animal moulds in future series
-
I am happy if they make them, but fantastic beast do not count in this tread except maybe Nagini if she is useable as a normal big snake But there are several "normal" animals in the wizarding world of Harry Potter you can guess on

If that is the next modular, I would be happy! Sounds like a excellent combo for animal moulds
