  1. Is it confirmed confirmed?
  2. Thank you! Have not build AS yet so that is probably why I could not locate it
  3. Is the leaf piece in the flowers set new? If not can someone say a set it is in already, I can not find it
  4. Looks like the new spider comes in light yellow in the new elves sets
  5. If it is one it is likely in fall, time will show
  6. Something in-between, so I will not reveal the source.. Several people should know about it, but since nobody are spilling the beans, I guess it is still top secret
  7. I have heard rumours of another new animal mould next year.. It is probably not part of this guessing game, but family members will be if Lego make them in the future
  8. I have not heard about the wonder twins before, but I just read this: "Jayna and her brother Zan are the amazing Wonder Twins from planet Exxor. When the two are together and say “Wonder Twin powers activate” she can transform into any animal she chooses. She’s also a big fan of Earth pop culture, especially her favorite ’70s tunes." What a wasted opportunity to get a new animal mould (or any animal mould for that sake)
  9. I agree, later when i update the chart over animal moulds for each year to include 2017, I think it will get a high score 2018 also sounds promising from what we know so far.. If Lego make a lioness and and a new mould of the head for a male lion, they have used the big cat mould to its full potential I would say. The bear they can make a reddish brown one and maybe a panda if they stretch it, but then they are out of options more or less.. So sooner or later they will make something new from the animal kingdom If the "black panther" movie has a normal rhino in it, I will be disappointed because that thing that Lego made looks like the luggabeast from star wars A deer of any kind would be a Lego dream come true! My number one spot is obviously the roe deer, but I am afraid they will do like Disney did with Bambi and made him a whitetail deer even tough He was a roe deer in the original books.. Lego also seems to prefer American animals over European for some reason The reindeer and moose are on both continents so they are more likely I guess.. It is as dead as an herring! Live crows do not sit like that.. It is better than nothing, but if they make a crow that are "alive" the posing would be different and it probably would have printed eyes
  10. Yes, is has already been suggested Well next years city sets are definitely American because of black bear, puma and skunk. This years city jungle sets are somewhere in Asia where they have tigers, leopards and crocodiles So definitely not out of the question that we get a series from "down under" sometime in the future On the news front: There is a recolour or a new dog in the The Justice League Anniversary Party (70919), if it is useful as a normal dog is still under the cloak The new city sets will include a skunk in a normal set for the first time, a recolour of the big cat as a puma and a recolour of the bear in black! The reddish-brown bear seen in the prelims is still lost in the woods.. The nexoknight Knighton Castle 70357 has the pig in a new colour, but it has doll-eyes
  11. It is easy to see now where the rumour of a city, space, castle and pirates set came from Unfortunately they did not each get their minifig sized set, but all in one microbuild set, while the rest of the sets turned out to be just random bricks
  12. Well lucky for you crow is rather tasty It was the second released, it was much cheaper than the rest because Lego wanted a modular that was more affordable for people. Once you step on board the "modular train", most people are hooked and never want to leave, so they made a shorter ladder so more people would climb aboard.. The modular line has evolved a lot over the years, so comparing the first ones with the last is a little bit like comparing a new car to a 10 year old one.. If they make a similar priced model today it would be the size of half the pet shop building.. I agree with you as long as Lego consider it a part of the modular line, it doesn't matter what other people might think..
  13. Maybe they will include some animal moulds after all
  14. Is that not a new roller coaster piece in the mining set? In the joker set there is only a short strait rail, this looks like a longer strait piece
  15. Me to, but this was not a instant love to me, but the last one I fell for immediately was PR! But they all grow on me after a while and definitely when I start building them Now I will have somewhere to put the until now out of place CMF Diner Waitress, and for those who got the boxers and other training CMF figs they also get a home now This tread bubble surly burst during the night
  16. Thanks for keeping me informed To bad, its about time the superhero themes bring some new animal moulds to the table
  17. Has anyone called in and ordered the seagull? Price?
  18. The new batman series include a dolphin so they do not need to be that small! -Sirius Black with his animagus form "padfoot" (big dog) -Professor McGonagall with her animagus form (cat) -Hermione with Crookshanks (big cat) -Ron with Pigwidgeon (small owl) -Hagrid with Fang the Boarhound -Ravenclaw eagle, Slytherin snake and Hufflepuff badger (the lion is to big I guess) etc in addition to all the fantastic beast they could include
  19. Well the problem is that a 2-300$ re-relesed set would not take a spot from a 2-30$ Nexo knight/elves set, but a set within the same price range. Just look what happen when they re-released the Winter Village Toy Shop, no other Winter Village set that year
  20. Unless the re-released sets only are sold directly from Lego they will take up a spot in the shops from a new set.. So what do you want on the self in the toy shop, a 10 year old outdated set or a new one
  21. They make duplo zoo sets all the time, the only reason they do not do it in Lego is because they think animals appeals more to younger kids.. When boys get a little bit older they want a police station not a zoo according to Lego, but at least they have started including more animals in the sets now. The girls they give minidoll sets with more animals, but they are made unrealistically cute because they think girls want that.. Police stations and minidolls sell like hot cakes, then why take a chance on a city zoo (I fear a minidoll one is more likely) Lego have made duplo circus sets also, but I find it less likely they move in to the city...
  22. I more or less agree, but since Lego seems determined to release licensed series all the time these days then HP is on top of my list! The rest of the licensed series I have little or no interest in unless they include a new animal mould I won't be surprised if I actually have more use for a HP series than series 18 "dress up party", hope they bring back the normal classic series soon
  23. Well when it comes to Lego animal moulds, zero to none have as much chance as very likely.. We will have to wait and see what summer 2018 brings ;) Hehe, the lobster is the exception A normal series now have 2 new animals per series, a licensed on the other hand have one if we are very lucky But I am worried the next "normal" series would not follow the pattern, since it is not all than normal
  24. Thanks for the info Interesting that they are pushing the line when it comes to the size of an animal mould included in a CMF! I have very low expectations to licensed CMF series, so nice this one had a animal at least...
  25. I hope and think they are not that stupid and crazy Minidolls have a very narrow niche; young girls (yes I know some AFOL like them as well). Minifigs are more neutral in a way and have a brother range of potential buyers. HP have a huge adult fanbase that Lego probably want to propose to, then minifigs are the way to go
