  1. Who? I still hope it is false I really hope not! I have a few old figs on my wanted list, but would rather have completely new figs than to get them as a best of series or similar.. If I was desperate I can just buy the old figs with the inflated prices there are plenty on the marked.. This series 20 is getting me worried, because I know Lego will do something special with it and it is probably bad or worse from my perspective If it is a female gold in a total of 5000 or one per box I do not mind since I only buy the figs with useful parts. If it is some kind of themed series like 18 or one fig from each former series that would be bad! Series 19 has set a record with new animal moulds and if it something to special with series 20, I have to wait to 21 before I can hope to get a similar series again
  2. I would rather have those or a centur instead of Grawp Owls
  3. Yes off course, but if we get 6 FB figs as last time I hope that 4-5 of them are not the same as series 1 Tina, Queenie, Newt and Jacob already have 2-3 good figs each. I understand that they must include Newt, but maybe the other 3 could change spots with some new characters HP figs had 16 spots so even tough we got two Harry's and one Ron and Hermione it was stills room for a lot of new figs (off course some of them have or will show up in sets later, but they came first in the CMF). FB have only 6 spots, but since most of the HP figs are well known maybe it is possible to include some less known character among the FB figs
  4. Ok, that is right, but they also where in the first film.. So we have gotten every important character from the first film exsect a few rather uninteresting muggles. On the other hand none of the characters introdused in CoG have gotten a minifig yet Sounds exselent to me I prefer to get a new character insted, but would not be suprisseid if he turns up in the line up as Lego likes to use spots on the most important charakters even if we have gotten them several times before
  5. We still have not gotten a single fig from the last FB, so they could easily put some of them in a CMF series.. I hope and think the next move will be great! The first one was excellent, but the second tried to put in to many details, I am sure they have learned from that mistake Lego may make one this year or wait for the next movie, I would say it is 50-50 now
  6. Excellent work as always! I hope Lego make something similar to "Peasant Woman" soon, can never have to many civilian castle figs especially females Animals are welcome as well
  7. Probably not, since the theme was not a best seller for kids
  8. Yes for the blue-coats this time if it has to be a ship It would be like re-release a car from 1989, who would buy that except a few collectors of retro stuff It looks great to be from -89, but really outdated from today's standards.. I agree I concur! A new elderado fortress with over 2000+ brikcs would be better than a new ship.. The best would probably be a combination of eldorado fortress and Lego mill village raid in a fortified port with civilians, animals and food items where soldiers and pirates alike could go ashore and the crew could spend their gold and the ships could get supply's
  9. There is also quite a few new characters on the first page, do not mean that they need to be released in Lego, but could be an indication of what we are getting in the future. new Slytherin robes Kigsley uncle Vernon? Dudley? several I do not recognize as well Also another book with Ron Weasley and Scabbers figs has leaked This theme sure gets loot of books, but what about promos; Lego?
  10. Yes, but it seems that out of the vault focus mainly on sets released within the last 10-12 years that; have a very high value in the secondary marked have mostly parts that still are in production look good even in today's standard most Afols that have come out of the dark ages since then has missed out on (there are a lot more afols now then 10-12 years ago) So that do not apply to the sets of the -80 and -90.. To me the theme is of little use since I have bought most of the sets I want from that period, but for people late to the party I guess it is great
  11. This years OUT OF THE VAULT set could very well be 10210 Imperial Flagship: https://brickset.com/article/39251 I have it so no matter to me, but it could be some kind of 30 years celebration I guess
  12. I guess that depends on how well they look and the price of the set, the Disney tax usually increase the price a lot on the sets
  13. Slim to none, TRU is out of businesses and they sold the bricktober sets.. Lego on the other hand could make some kind of other promo instead So far no HP promos this year which is strange In a perfect world Lego could have put in another horse in the front so they got a similar shape as the 7 in the film and size of the set would increase with very few extra pieces..
  14. While I agree that 8 more or less could come strait out of a city set and the same goes for the fig in 9 I guess The dogs (and poop) would not! This goes mostly from memory so I may remember wrong The first dog came in HP, then years later city updated the dog mould in a police set (while it is great to get a updated mould it is not as good as getting a complete new animal). In addition city has made a second dog mould so 1,5-2 new dogs in city and 1 in HP (probably more to come from that theme in the future).. CMF on the other hand now has 4!! So to me it is not as important which figs they put with the dogs as long as I get the dogs, since the dogs are the prize the fig is just a bonus I agree with those who say the accessories are the stars in series 19. Since the normal sets get better and better figs maybe we see a shift in CMF from great figs with good accessories to good figs with great accessories (since the normal sets can not give us that)
  15. Since this series gave me all those fabulous animals I am a happy camper So I will not complain, but rather say it was odd that the series did not include a pirate-related fig this year because of the 30 year anniversary.. E.g. I really like the native American figs, but since they have made a chief, 2 warriors and a female with a baby already I do not have much hope they will make more figs any-time soon (still is a possibility of a medicine man and some kids I guess ).. Pirates on the other hand have only one captain (over the top), a pirate and a islander if I remember correctly. So here it is plenty of possibility for new figs: female pirate pirate officer islander female blu- or redcoat soldier blu- or redcoat officer blu or redcoat admiral etc So strange Lego did not take advantage of that this year
  16. Since they are blind bags it is harder to know what characters is more popular than others. Off course they probably test them with kids, but I do not think that they make 32 figs and the 16 most popular among kid test groups get made into a series If they did the western, castle and pirates figs would most likely make the cut over several of the figs in series 19 I believe that so many city figs in this series is probably more to do with chance, if there is only 1 western, castle and pirates fig combined the next series and the series after that I would get more worried Series 17 had several after all
  17. If it turns out to be true and we get a DC series I will not be pleased The best I can hope for from a licensed series except WW is one new animal mould, the rest I usually do not have any interest in
  18. Welcome @Riku , always nice when somebody that loves animal moulds join EB The animal moulds they have made so far in this theme are fantastic, but they definitely could be more numerous. Both the phoenix and Fang have been very close to getting a mould I think, but for some reason it have not happened yet unfortunately. I am sure we will see more new moulds as the theme gets new sets in the coming years As I have said before I think they are to stingy on owls in the sets compared to older sets, since owls are so important in the WW, but that is not to late they could give us a set based on this scene :
  19. I do not think the 2009 and 2015 waves was bad at all! 2009 pros: had 2 small army-builder sets with redcoats and one of them had a cannon as well a fair amount of animals a god selection a different sets a advent calendar, probably my all time AC favourite so far with plenty of good parts a lot of small boats gave us the fantastic Imperial Flagship the year after Cons: not the old palm tree mould flags soft plastic (unsure if this is a con, but they look "cheaper" than the solid ones) could have been a more even ratio between soldiers and pirates (Imperial Flagship gave us more soldiers so no worries) loot island had some big simple parts 2015 pros: a even ratio between soldiers and pirates very much like that several of the sets can combine to a bigger one had a chess set that was good for army building a small army-builder set with a bluecoat and a cannon a lot of different figs even a fighting bluecoat female cons: the blucoats with hair should had a hat included not enough animals even the monkey is missing palm tree here also a small wave with no big bluecoat set the year after
  20. Not sure, but when the winter retail catalogue arrives in September(?) we will hopefully get a confirmation
  21. It is fantastic what accessories that fig have! The dachshund and the poop is a new mould, but the bulldog and shovel also are for the first time in that colour right? Has there ever been a CMF before with as many as 4 accessories where 2 is new and 2 is in a new colour?
  22. Do Lego have the license to do that anyway?! Yes I know they have made 2 batman series, but that was from a Lego movie not a "normal" DC film! I thought the hole point with making small battle pack within themes like SW, DC and Marvel is that Lego do not have the license to make single fig collectibles from those themes It is hot now so I think I need a spoonful of salt to swallow this rumour along with Disney 3 and every other 2020 CMF rumour turning up these days
  23. DC?! I did not think Lego had the license to do that
