Or lately at least here in Norway sets that the first few months only are sold maybe at shop@hope, then later it is possible to get it in other shops also.. Anyway they do not show up in the retailer catalogues so much easier to avoid them leaking early
-
They are probably limited sets like quidditch and the train from last year, Lego sometimes manage to keep those under wraps until someone stumble over them in a random shop one day
-
No, I had not seen it earlier and it is strictly speaking a animal(s) as well Nice find had not spotted those two The juvenile dolphin is probably to friendsefied to use, but the others are a great inclusion that are usable in minifig builds as well

I do not think we will get a bricktober set since TRU are more or less finished, but a HP promo of some kind is probably happening

A second CMF series is most likely happening.. A new Hogwarts part also, all sets based on 5-6 is my guess. If the advent calendar sells decent we will get that as well -
What new moulds are we getting exactly? Stag Buckbeak pumkin ? Fewer than last year right, so they could made a Fang also one would think, since there was a dog in London they probably planed to do it also, why did they change there mind
-
Yes, the only thing Hagrids hut is missing is Fang and Padfoot could have come with the knight bus All in all I think the sets are great and: https://imgur.com/gallery/qh0UPGW The dragon had been a lot better moulded, but I am sure the kids will love it

Darn, where are the owls

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion

I have no interest in space so will not get that people pack, but interesting they make two in one year Do not have the fairground sets either, but I guess I will get that people pack anyway.. No animals in city this year so I probably save my money for HP, maybe we get farm, zoo, safari etc sets next year (one can dream) -
From a business perspective is is probably not smart to report too many secrets or too many details about how different themes/ sets sell.. As I mentioned earlier if you listen to the actual press release I believe HP/WW is the theme that is mentioned most times of all and I believe that say more about how well the theme is doing than the so-called top 5 list
-
The shops will probably get them sometime in May so we will see something very soon

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Roebuck replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
From what I understand it is the making of the mould that is costly, when they have that the price should go down a bit, but off course a big dinosaur uses more plastic than a small piece so it is costlier that way and the printing adds also.. It is JP so it must include dinosaurs, maybe a bigger set with old moulds could include more dinosaurs than a smaller set relatively It could be microskale, but would that be a big seller to kids when there is no big dinosaurs in a set, maybe they are on the minifig line up, 4-5 minifigs and a t-Rex -
Yes, she is a perfect CMF candidate I agree it is a real bummer That is possible I guess Yes, but probably not before 2022 if they start over again (2019 3-4, 2020 5-6, 2021 7-8) Almost everything in the EP set is usable for army building including the trees (except Harry and Sirius, maybe the stag) Well a forest consist of tress in all sizes, so hopefully some of the future sets will also include trees so we can expand our forest every year I sounds like a amazing wave from what I have read and seen so far, but not a single owl?! This is HP there should be plenty of owls around
-
Google translate: "the minister of agriculture Cornelius Fudge" No Fang
-
Could be, but is it not to "round" to be s stud shooter Would not surprise me either, but it makes more sense in the Quidditch set, unless they shoot the stag out instead of a stud
-
Yes I agree, just compared it to 10-25$ sets now, remove 1 dementor and both trees and then it is a normal 15$ licensed set It looks amazing and I am happy to see Lego keep making excellent WW sets with at least the same quality as last year if not better What is that round piece sticking out of the tree, just over the dementor head? Could it be a brown owl on a branch?! If so Lego are answering my prayers to put more owls in the sets like earlier years sets had

70671: Lloyd's Journey I assume is in the same price range and it has 2 figs, a new animal mould and a small build.. Here we apparently get 4 figs, a new animal mould and 1-2 small builds, what a fantastic value This was maximum of what we could get OK the dementores are provably cheap to make now, but they could have easily given us one and that would have been fine, 2 is fantastic both in value and army building
-
If you have it? What is in the calendar?
-
I think HP will be better than SW, the value in the sets are at least, but offcourse they will use a lot of the minifig spots on characters we already got so maybe you are right.. I am pretty sure a lot of them are christmas themed so I expect some Weasleys beside Ron to show up
-
In the GH we got 10 figs and this set is of the same price point so if they are really nice they could give us the Patil twins as well, but the GH students where probably cheaper to make than the yule ball editions
-
That was odd Is it possible someone have painted them green? If Lego have made them, maybe they needed them for a build in Legoland or similar Then someone found there way outside into your hands From what I see on bricklink the octopus are only released in black, dark red and trans-light blue, so if yours is legit they should be rather valuable

It is usually only males that have a tusk so that do not prove anything.. Have not seen the mould yet, but since it is in friends maybe a beluga is more likely

It will definitely be there, but surprised we get a new mould. I assumed they would use the pumpkin-head mould I am sure they will put it to good use in others themes/sets as well.. If they manage to pull off a decent horntail with the same mould they used on the other two fantastic beast it is impressive part usage Time will tell, if it was a choice between a new head mould for the horntail or the stag, Buckbeak or Fang I am glad they did it. Better to get a new animal mould than part of a animal mould

Well rehashes here is not so bad! SW have got many sets every year for 20 years in a row, so no wonder there are many similar sets. Only the first HP movies had many sets and that is almost 20 years ago with a odd set now and then later, the last ones almost 10 years ago.. With the evolution of sets going on the last 10-20 years Lego can make every set a lot better today, so then what does it matter if they made a similar set in 2001 or 2005? Personally I will not rule out the possibility of limited sets this year, in addition polybags, books, promos etc are bound to show up so we will get more stuff this year
-
I believe that is incorrect! Yes I know the written press release said that, but listening to the actual press release you get a different impression; Potter only had 6 months on shelf's compared to the other themes 12 months as well. If they had taken into consideration the number of days a set had on the marked and divided the number of sets sold on those days, HP sets would most likely be very high on the list
