I could not agree more Should be easy to put it in e.g. a city set since there is no castle sets coming. Maybe a friends set as long as they do not print on doe-eyes (pun intended) What a fantastic idea for a city sub-theme

As long as Lego make money they will make SW sets! SW only had one set (MF 75192) among the top 10 best-selling sets last year, so the average SW sets do not sell better than best-sellers from others themes, but they most likely sell enough I guess..

A black terrier has showed up in the BAM in Lego stores! First the recolour of the cat and now a terrier Keep them coming Lego, what a great way to reuse existing moulds The BAM is becoming a fantastic place to get unique and rare animals I am hoping for a black/dark tan dachshund next! A white cat, a new colour on the chicken, parrot ,fish, pig, goat, big snake maybe? What the you think will be the next animal to get a recolour made for the BAM bins?

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Roebuck replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Well personally I do not think they will re-release them, other sets that they re-released lately no matter how unlikely (like the Vestas) I have heard no such statement regarding those sets.. -
Legoland castle hotel could end up being a set, but probably not what most castle fans are hoping for

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Roebuck replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I do not think this will be a best-seller series outside the realm of DC fans and kids. Nice for the fans that they get a series, but unless some of the figs comes with a interesting accessory I do not plan on buying any -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Roebuck replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I am sure that just because it is easier to say, nothing more Probably not.. I just means that instead of making similar buildings every time, they must use new parts, new building techniques etc. Some things work others do not, but they need to stay creative and try every time to improve and make something different.. Also there is a long line of designers that want to make the modulars so instead of one person making them, several do get the chance to make one. Since every designer will bring something new to the table they end up more diverse that way.. A Legoland castle hotel set is probably the closes we get in the near future (not unlikely they will make one).. They have said earlier that re-releasing modulars will not happen, but you never know what out of the vault will bring -
Yes, more of that please I got several cats, rabbits, and bulldogs when I was in Billund a few weeks ago. They also had lobsters in addition to more common animals like spiders and bats

THE PIRATE BAY IS GOING TO BE AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET!!!!
Roebuck replied to Another Brick In The Wall's topic in LEGO Pirates
Would not be surprised it it comes out this year to celebrate the 30 anniversary of pirates, the designers could have started working on it in March or even before when they saw it was getting approved Ideas set also are finished sets that Lego just has to adapt to their standards so should take lesser time to make that a similar set made from scratch -
The Tai Mahal was not leaked before it was revealed I think so it could definitely still happen this year, maybe the imperial flagship because of pirates 30 anniversary

I have not much interest in this set and do not know much about the show, but seems like pigeons is a important part of the show and are included in the ideas submission (as seagulls).. I wonder if they wound finely include a new pigeons mould in a city set so they could use it in this set later It is about time we get some pigeons in our Lego city's and if sesame street indirectly makes that happen it would make me very happy

The BAM is really becoming a great place to find new, rare and unique pieces, to bad I live so far away from the nearest Lego store

I agree, but I am no leaker with a source so can not say for sure! As I have said earlier I think it is a winter wave, if it is a 2HY wave it most likely will be 2-3 sets in addition to those that are limited as it has been the 2 first years.. Yes the more the merrier and as long as it is one of the less interesting figs that is the chase like the policeman and it is one per box I do not care to much if there is a chase fig. I will get it without much truble anyway, but I prefer 22 without any chase fig given the choice. If the choice is between 16 of at least 3 a piece or 22 with one chase I prefer the latter to get more WW figs Sounds interesting if it is true! Lego will sooner than later act on the fact that they have a new best seller theme on their hands. That is most likely why we got the advent calender out of the blue.. I guess they will keep up the 2 films per year in summer sets, but a 1HY wave with missing sets from the first 4 films instead of waiting several years before they start over again could be a smart way to do it

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
Roebuck replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is off topic, but what I can remember from the inside tour one participant ask why they changed grey when we were at the factory. The reason has nothing to do with test kids! In the old days it was only a few colours on parts and they came to the factory as coloured granulate, when they started colour the granulate at the factory they had to change some colours as well I did not ask, but probably local schoolclasses, kids of the employees or similar.. -
THE PIRATE BAY IS GOING TO BE AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET!!!!
Roebuck replied to Another Brick In The Wall's topic in LEGO Pirates
This is fantastic news! I saw the live stream and have not been so existed about an ideas set since the fishing store I have been hoping for months that it will make it and is over the moon that it did I agree that when it comes to modulars it do not matter much how the minifigs look, we have plenty of CMF to put in the sets to populate them anyway. With this set I do not agree at all, here some new pirates figs are very important since we have so few of them in CMF. I hope for 2 females and 2 soldiers like the updated version had in addition to some pirates.. I am as always wondering about the animals as well, this set has a lot of animals and I hope they keep them in the set like they did with the fishing store (not like the tree-house where they removed everyone except one).. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
Roebuck replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
If they remake them it is probably fine, but if it just is the same fig or almost the same, but with a new colour on the accessories it is not fine. Like this: https://brickset.com/sets/850458-1/VIP-Top-5-Boxed-Minifigures -

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Roebuck replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
OK, thanks for answering, those 3 are way to unrealistic to me So I will not keep my hope up A small hope still then, but probably not really realistic Since they have the mould maybe they include them to make the fig look better without using the mould budget on it -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
Roebuck replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Series 19 had a few classic figs with a new twist, like Johnny Thunder, blacktron and fright knight.. If they do a series like that it would be fine by me Would probably mean several pirates figs, native American fig, castle figs etc.. A best of series with old CMF sounds lame, it do not help much to switch the sex of the figs either since most of the early figs have a female counterpart by now -
DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

I like Legends of tomorrow, but do not know every random DC character out there.. Is there a change any of them will come with a new animal mould in this series? If not this is probably a easy pass for me -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Roebuck replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
What we get depends on who the designer is and their preferences.. Rather than replacing an old modular I think Lego aim to make something new and hopefully better every time. That is most important when it comes to building technique and new parts, but it probably also apply to what the building is.. Personally I hope for something animal related, but since we already have a pet shop and a veterinary chances are slim, but a rare animal mould or two would be great a least -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Roebuck replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I would be really surprised if we do not get a WW series this or next year since the first WW series was a top 10 overall best-seller for Lego in 2018 The last series of the year is most likely I think.. -
Well I for one think it is very interesting No it do not I have earlier when we get the yearly reports asked for a top 10 list of best selling sets since that is much more interesting than the 6 best selling themes, since a theme of 30 sets will sell better in total than a theme of 5 sets.. So imagine my surprise when I last week on the inside tour came across what seemed like 10 random sets on display! I took some pictures and I asked the tour guide what this was and she told me it was the 10 best selling sets of 2018 What?! This is super interesting to know and surprising, so I ran back and took pictures of every set! She also told me this had been published in some report, but I was pretty sure I had not heard about it before. Since it is apparently published and I was allowed to take pictures on that part I do not think I do anything wrong in telling it here Hogwarts Great Hall 75954 (No 3) Hogwarts Whomping Willow 75953 (No 8) Minifigures - Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Series 1 71022 (No 9) Hogwarts Castle 71043 (No 10 most likely (or 4 someone had moved the numbers so it had two in front of it, so they are not 100%)) I do not know how the did the ranking, but it is probably the total of money the sets sold for, so they e.g. sold a lot of minifigs for every Hogwarts castle.. 4 of the top 10 spots, that is insane for one theme no other theme had more than one set there! No need to worry about WW theme going anywhere soon
