  1. Thanks for the update! Hopefully you manage to make a new update in the beginning of 2020 with all the new sets.. Have a nice xmas
  2. To me the castle theme was at its best when Nicholas Groves designed 10193 Medieval Market Village and 7189 Mill Village Raid A lot of animals, civilians and civilian buildings we never had seen before in the theme! The other sets around that time was also good with a more broad focus that the normal soldier-fraction A fighting B, but unfortunately Lego have not tasked him with making any similar sets in many years
  3. That's what Santa is called in Norway, and your fig looks like a nisse as well Where are you from? Hopefully we will see the return of the lovely goat mould soon in a official Lego set
  4. Maybe a castle that have a chance for once Put in a extra horse or 3 please
  5. I built 75952 Newt's Case of Magical Creatures today and I must say I am really impressed with the set Really interesting build and it looks good as well. I even enjoyed the brick built animals and I am no fan of those normally, I wonder who designed it I recommend buying it if you do not have it, before it is retired any day now
  6. Slim too none, but I think that there is a good chance we will see a fig or two from pirates, castle or western
  7. Congratulations to the winner, I did not vote for it, but pretty sure it would win. One of the reasons why it looks so good is because of all the chrome pieces that make it pop. Without them I do not think it would have won, but will Lego include them? Probably not It was 15 different cars in the finale so off course Lego was not intending to match it. It is just a car and every one of them could fit in the modular street.. If they wanted to match it they would have made a competition with a police car to the police-station or a post car to a post-office, but then they would say what the next modular is and that is probably not happening.. On the other hand I prefer them to add cars to the modular street this way than using parts for cars in the modulars
  8. I agree! Better to have two full waves from the last 4 films the next 2 years. After that they can go back and make sets like COS I agree with @Guyon2002 the minidoll animals do not work with minifigs, the only exception is the small sparrow mould and sea creature accessories The size is not the problem it is the look! I had to google a lot to even find the two types of horses in the same picture, so most people do not mix them probably All in good time, first new sets in two years, then new and remakes of old sets after that
  9. Well to be honest he did not make it easy for himself with all the obvious lies on where he got the information in the beginning Had he just said he was present on the LTF and seen the following : 1,2,3.. from the start it would have been much easier to believe him from day one.. From what I can remember he said he had another account here that he normally used, the other one was just for leaks from the LTF so no one should understand it was him I believe he had gotten a new job also so maybe he is not going to the toyfair next year anyway, we will see if he pops back up after the LTF I guess I wonder if the dog (Fang?) that was there will show up in the next CMF series It is irritating when Lego makes new animal moulds and then do not release them after all
  10. If that is the case just buy a lot of pirate bay sets and Lego will get the message
  11. You could be right, but there is also the possibility that the ideas set fit in really well with the potential other pirate set. E.g. there would have been no problem to release the pirate bay the same year as the 2015 pirate wave was released If it is something like nexo pirates I will save money
  12. Not necessarily.. The 30th anniversary is this year, not "close enough next year" On the other hand I do not think Lego take into consideration all those anniversary's we fans hope will bring some new sets. The exception seems to be things like SW and minifigs that have come out every year since its release.. If Lego do not reveal anything pirates this year (not very likely now), we can forget about the 30th anniversary, but that do not mean that we will not get any pirates sets next year In the beginning they "approved" MS made by a fan, but that was before ideas. Why would they approve any sets there now?! They use ideas as a place to get new original ideas, a modular is never a new or original idea it is just a version of a old ongoing theme.. Once a year is probably what marked research say is sustainable for modular buildings I agree, a normal pirates wave wound have and have never had anything like that. If they was planning to include a pirates island of some kind, they can just ship that set and there is no overlap. Or it is not like a huge MF stops a normal MF to be released is there
  13. Wait and see that set will most likely make it
  14. I agree next year will probably have around 7 normal sets also. 4 regular and 3 limited or for the second wave.. A CMF 2 and advent calendar is also highly likely and maybe even a D2C, so when they say a lot more than 4 sets are coming they are probably right 100% agree Most likely we will see sets from film 5-6 next year and film 7-8 in 2021, then the interesting thing is what they will do in 2022, hopefully they will start making sets they missed the first round like COS The FB is a joker here, I think they will make more sets in the future. The question is if they are taking spots from HP sets that year or more likely a separate wave with "extra" sets closer to the new movie. If Lego includes FB figs in the next wave of CMF I think it is almost guaranteed we will get more sets in the future
  15. It is not a pigeon, we are still missing that mould unfortunately.. This is a sparrow or similar, but still useful
  16. Could be, but he made the concept art for the clock tower and did not end up designing it. On the other hand Lego designers do this all the time so maybe he still is onboard
  17. Chameleon info in the designer video
  18. My logic is always bulletproof Maybe you have a point, the WW CMF definitely had a lot of animals If we see a arms-race of animal moulds, we should be in for a real treat next year with series 20 and WW 2 (pun not intended)
  19. The more the merrier is my approach to trees Most city's have a lot of them, so maybe the modulars can start to include a different tree with every modular It is a little strange that they did not use the new printed birch tree piece from frozen sets when they made the birch
  20. I noticed that too Who else do we know are working on it? Marcos Bessa is still the design lead I think.. Justin Ramsden is still on board, but he is all over the place Mark Stafford made at least the great hall, but think maybe he is on Jurassic park now?
  21. No plenty more than that http://www.newelementary.com/2019/12/lego-review-10270-bookshop-modular.html "Also great for any animal-loving fans, we get new colours for two already existing animals. The Bird now also comes in Dark Azure (6287960) and the Chameleon can now change its colour to Dark Turquoise. "
  22. They even included information on the chameleon in the designer video, keep the animal mould info coming Lego
  23. I told you guys it was 2 buildings From what I have seen so far it look really good Yes and a new colour of chameleon as well A little odd they did not include a second bird And personally I would like to see one or two of the new dogs breeds on the street, but have just gotten 2 new animal colours I will not complain How many parts in new colours are there in total? Seems like a lot Bird Chameleon scarf leaf? leaf? What is wrong with that
  24. We can buy pieces from Lego now, but that do not seem to stop people buying from BL sellers.. Lego have a lot of restrictions compared BL sellers (only new pieces in production, not licensed etc). Some part are cheaper on Lego some on BL, but it depends on how many people that shop on BL that know they can buy parts from Lego. If few people do, then a Lego shop on BL would have a bigger effect than if most know about B&P.. Anyway they would definitely be one of the biggest sellers there, probably the biggest, but not sure they will make such a move. Lego B&P are more linked up to where customers get broken or missing parts and they still need to maintain that service..
