When people make a set for ideas that is in a licence Lego have had for many years, the chance is big that Lego have already have had the same idea. So that is probably true for the first 4 set you mentioned. The Ghostbuster set was an approved ideas set and they made the car and got the licence: "If we release follow-up sets independently of LEGO Ideas, you will not be compensated. The Fiat I am not sure, but it could be the same as modulars. Modular buildings are never approved on ideas, even if plenty have gotten to review, why should they since Lego make one every year. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think they get their info from one or several of the sources I mentioned They could know someone in the know or they are just better than the rest of us to dig up info when it leaks

People believe anyone that gives them a "leak", no matter that 9 of 10 times they are fake. The "fakes" get a lot of the attention they crave and they multiply in numbers Possible ways we can get leaks (top of my head): Retail catalogues: was very common earlier, but Lego are aware of the danger and they include less info every year. Toy fairs: earlier the Fan media got invited and could share a lot of info. Now it is mostly secret, but usually at least one person that has been there give some info about it from memory on a small German blogpost or similar. Lego or another cite makes a mistake and post something before the deadline. Happens from time to time, but easy to recognize because of the quality (e.g. CMF). Factory leak: after the virus hit they have stopped it seems People that are in the know like Lego employees, fan media etc and they usually do not speak about it before they have permission. So next time a person that claims to have a uncle working at Lego or similar have detailed info about a set no one should know about for months unless you are working with it and no picture has leaked; drink some saltwater and move along Sorry for the off topic

Well you get 1% of the sales for starters I think we should start to think of the Lego ideas submissions as similar to sketch models. Lego designers often make a sketch model of a set, then another designer take it and make a set (sometimes years later). It is disappointing when Lego remove stuff you liked about the first model, but most of the times they will make it better overall and if it had not been for the idea we would never have gotten the set

I do not know how it works in Italy, could be temporarily sold out maybe. In the USA the sets are not out in shops yet so they can not buy it I think Maybe there is another Italian here that can give a better answer

Caribbean clipper made it now Personally I do not think it will make it all the way. Since I have plenty of ships I would rather have one of the excellent fort builds that is gaining votes fast make it instated. However to me it seams like the Barracuda bay made it mostly because they came up with the idea to turn it in to a ship, so not very hopeful we will see more pirate related sets in ideas anytime soon.. On the other side I was sure not any of the 3 sets that made it this round would make it so what do I know

Look at it this way; for every day the chance for reveal increases both for the CMF and DA

One of the big differences between WW and SW is that the former get one wave with a few sets every year. SW on the other hand get several large waves every year and have done so for over 20 years. Over 60 SW sets on Brickset last year, HP had 11. WW basically restarted in 2018 and there is still a lot of sets they can make in HP, in FB even more so.. I think they will start to remake some sets, however the sets are still selling so much that very few are retired yet, so little point in making any remakes then

I would say Seinfeld is as popular as Friends and both of them more so than Big Bang.. I like to watch it and Home alone, but prefer the non licensed stuff and the typewriter is not for me so not planning on buying any of them..

Looking forward to it I really hope there is more than one animal, if not I am starting to get worried for the future CMFs. WW1 and series 19 had a lot of animals and then suddenly series 20 only had one and if WW2 also only have one I sound the alarm I will get every fig in HP regardless of number of animals in it, but that do not apply to other CMF series

If I were you I would buy it now on B&P, it may show up in the DA later however is it one thing the new line of HP sets are missing it is owls. Yes we got a new flying one this year and the brown is back, but if they wanted to include it they would have already done it maybe Still the old grey one is missing and Cho's from the CMF so I would be very pleasantly surprised if they all are in the DA to put it that way

I suggested earlier that several of the shops could have the possibility to build one of two shops, similar to the barracuda bay set but in smaller scale. If that is the case it will probably cost me a lot of money since I most likely will buy 2 sets to get all the shops I do not think the most important question is how many floor the buildings have, but if they are closed builds or mostly facade. Closed ones like the modulars would use almost twice the number of bricks than the facade option and would limit the number of buildings a lot.. If they make them narrow (like most of them are in the movie) they will appear higher even if they only have 2 floors

There are limits to how many parts you can order on the phone, if I remember correct 15-16 at 200 a piece.. There is not much point in calling in to order parts that you can buy online anyway. It is possible to order online and then call in to try and order the parts you did not find online, but you can not wait for hours then the order is in the next step. The shipping is so low so that is not a big problem if you can not combine the 2 orders..

HP fans comes in every age It depends on how they make it, but they could be perfect for a medieval castle theme, fit with pirates or city. Some people buy sets that are good looking or have interesting build techniques regardless of theme or if it have a lot of interesting parts MOC builder will buy it, some buy all the biggest sets etc
