Definitely, but this is Lego and not Playmobil and they are a lot more stingy with the animals unfortunately However we can hope for more than one
-
I think It is pretty safe to assume it will fit like a glove Who say they won't release all the other famous shops that is not included, down the line? Better wait and see what the set looks like first I do not collect SW, but if I was and I had to choose between SW and HP, just by looking at the cost of the sets alone the choice should be easy
-
Well, the hype is increasing for every day and they sure make a good job in stopping leaks of pictures Maybe it will leak under 24 hours before the reveal, but then it hardly goes in the useful leak category (it is better to get the first look a few hours later instead of the potato camera by then)

If you are unlucky the numbers can be of, I have heard of several cases of the last few series (do not think that was a issue before or maybe people did not buy that many boxes then compared to now).. However the number of figs should be the same in proportion to each other from the factory, so if their box have 0 Rons they will pop up in other boxes. If you see where I am going with this, it is not a chase fig just a packaging error

The last series have been sorely lacking in the animal mould department, but at least the only animal come 5 in a box (first the turtle and now Fawkes)

Finally should have made a reindeer mould in 2014 for 10245 Santa's Workshop

Hehe, I think the micro-scale needed more adjusting than this Surprised Lego would have him! Only seen one video by him, where he is running around a Lego show and having the best day of his life since the Brickshow was deleted on YouTube. Interviewing a lot of kids and get them to say what he wants to hear, until he finally asked some adults from Beyond the brick and got different answer. That said plenty of him as a person so now I watch a lot more Beyond the brick instead Sorry for the of topic I agree! They are running out of Hogwarts parts sooner or later right, so they need something to replace it. If that is the case it is almost like the Panini stickers, where you get the big album with a few stickers first and later smaller sticker packs to go with it. I do not think Lego ever have tried that strategy before, but would be interesting if they do this time Me too I agree, looks like a "x-mas reindeer" Hopefully we get proper red deer stag printing in the future Trust who you like, but everything is pointing to a September release Maybe the USA will get it later because of the closed Mexico factory, but that do not have anything to say for the release date in the rest of the world
-
I have been waiting for this since the first time I saw the patronus stag I am glad the theory that claim that the patronus moulds can not be made in other colours are proven wrong (did not personally believe it ) However the transparent look of the original was probably why the neck articulation was not included The mould is a red deer stag, but unsure what kind of deer they are going for with those colours? A rumour said it is coming with the elf house, so maybe reindeer Hopefully there are more than one in the set so they become cheaper to army-build Hare and otter next

Disney/SW are much more greedy than HP, just look at the similar prices sets. Because of that I have always thought that DA would get over 5000 parts instead of around 4000 There are so much left out so I think we might get a new D2C in a couple of years or at least several normal sets that can be added Better be some owls at least The last D2C did that for owls and other stuff, but that is not how they do things any more, no compromises just make it how it looks or do not include it in the set Must be, the only reason I can think of instead of including other more known shops This set is going to be fantastic I do not mind that several of the most famous buildings are not included, it can only mean that we are at least getting several stand-alone sets or maybe even a new D2C DA in a couple of years
-
It could of course be another designer that has made the set and that he is referring to. However it most likely is not related to the DA at all (unless he finally has gotten around to see the movies with his daughter for the first time and become a HP fan himself ), I am just grasping at straws here
-
This has probably nothing at all to do with the DA! He has a great humour in my mind and If I know him right it is probably just a new moc in his city, or maybe a friend of his has gotten a job at Lego etc. I do not even think he is a HP fan, but we are desperate right So have a look at this clip:
-
Maybe the set is called right side of DA, wait 2 years for the left side set
-
I believe they make a big batch before release and then new batches when stock are getting low during the lifetime of the set.. Normally that works fine, but with the current situation a lot of the sets are sold out since the sale is much higher than normal. So I assume they must make several smaller batches of a lot of sets instead of bigger batches of a few sets, in addition to new sets of course
-
Welcome Do you know the price? If they have started taking pre-orders the reveal must be imminent. Once they are shipped to stores a leak would most likely happen so I guess they will do it this week. If it happens next week we most likely will get a leak the day before the reveal.. Sometimes it seems like Lego wait for a leak and then reveal it the day after, however that has not happened to the CMF at least
-
According to Brickset HH 2Jun and ST12 Jun, who used the budget on the part however is harder to guess
-
Fawkes look incredible
-
I think the chance is smaller now that we got several of the obscure buildings included, my guess is a sign to Knockturn Alley and that is it Anyone know where the "dragons" and "akhemy" signs are from? F&B?
-
In theory, but I hardly think Marcos Bessa would be answering CMF questions other designers are in charge of that theme
-
I still find it hard to believe that the following are included: Florean Fortescue’s ice cream parlor Scribbulus Daily prophet If not several of in my mind more famous ones are According to this map several of them are on the same side of the street, the ones without stickers so far are on the other side. However no sign of Olivanders, DP or WWW So the jokeshop(WWW) , second- hand bookshop(F&B) and Broomstix(QQS) are removed because they are to similar to other shops, so WWW, Olivanders and DP is included instead. We are still missing the shops on the other side, I would guess the cauldron shop, MM, one of the pet shops and one of the apothecary's are included from that side in addition most likely LC and Gringotts on each side
-
We can agree on that, but still no pigeon

The 4000 pieces are just a guess, it could be easily 5000 instead.. I hope most of the figs we already got like Ron, Hermione, Hagrid etc are the same as earlier versions that way more of the budget goes to new characters and more figs in total can probably be included in the set
-
I find it hard to imagination that some buildings are similar to modulars while others are more like buildings in city sets, if that is what you mean? Of course there is a size difference on the buildings, but they are most likely in scale and looks to each other
-
If it happen the most likely scenario is that the small/medium shops are 2 in 1, something like Gringotts would be the same maybe with the exception that if you buy 2 sets you could add more floors to the building.. Anyway the designers must outdo themself to pull something like that of so most likely it is not like that, but I find some of the minor inclusions pretty odd especially since the more famous ones are so far not included (as far as we know based on the sticker leak)
-
I do not agree, it would be like the alternative models of old sets or creator 3 in 1. With Pirates of Barricuda Bay you have to choose, build one, build one and then the other or buy two. From what I heard they have only gotten praise for that approach I do not think that is a problem if we get instructions and stickers for twice as many shops as we normally would for that price. However that would be a lot more complicated than the pirates set where they remove some parts and add some others and Bob's your uncle

Last time we where sure we would get a system-scale set. Then out of the blue the nanofigs leak and we understand that's not the case. A lot of people get disappointed, but by the time the set is revealed a lot of the disappointment have settled down and we can look at the set with more neutral eyes. This time most people expect that Gringotts is included, then out of the blue the sticker sheet leak... Most likely me looking for a pattern and not Lego trying to avoid customers having a negative opinion against a set before it is released
