  1. I hope and think they are more in depth than that, since a 5 year old could answer those
  2. Compared this to the Harry Potter one and it is a no-brainer which to choose
  3. This is great I was hoping for the Patil twins and prefer Cho over Krum, so excellent! Even 4 females and only 2 males that is nice On the down side there is no animals except a chocolate frog 1 set down, 2 to go
  4. I could see that DA D2C is something that can very well get revealed at SDCC, something like the piano on the other hand; not a chance. So are there any Marvel, DC or maybe SW in the pipeline they can reveal instead of HP? If not HP could definitely be first in line
  5. I knew it! Every time it looks like we are getting the D2C DA reviled another big set pops up to steel the "next in line spot" However with the VIP designer questions it can not be far away
  6. Depends, sometimes Lego makes prototypes that never make it to the market like the bison for the older western sets, but I think the chance for Fang increases with the lifetime of the theme. Most likely in a forbidden forrest set like you say if he is not in the CMF. Apparently a Fawkes mould was planned to come with the GH, for some reason did not happen, but now we get him in the CMF a couple of years later
  7. I am pretty sure I read or heard that not so long ago in an interview etc, but since I do not know what to google to find it is hopeless. Maybe I dreamt it or if I find it later I will reply again
  8. I really like the FB series and we are definitely getting a third film! Then I guess it depend on that one if we get more, but I sure hope so The FB in the CMF last time was put in the last minute because of the movie, this year it is no movie so they did not have the same reason to include them. If the coming FB movies do well we will see more sets in the future, but unlike HP it is one of those things that rely on the movie being a successes to make the Lego sets bestsellers. There have been plenty of themes with great sets like Prince of Persia and Lone Ranger, but since the movies "fail" do not sell a lot of sets A lot of the characters from FB would fit perfectly inside DA
  9. OK, here in Norway they have just reduced the mail delivery to every other weekday The mail is becoming the new Kodak with a decline every year since the top in 1999 Sometimes they send it by normal mail and sometimes by DHL, but then you get a tracing number when it ships.. The weekend do not count with the business days I assume, but if you get mail on Saturdays you probably can get the order then as well
  10. Do you usually get mail on Saturdays?
  11. I really looking forward to see pictures of the set There are so many ways they could have done the set so it is almost impossible to predict, but I am sure it is great anyway. Hopefully the reveal is next week
  12. Some designers do not like the publicity, maybe they do not speak English very well It could be a number of reasons why a team leader would do it and I know Jamie Berard has done it several times. A team leader can answer most of the questions in the same way as the actual designer and it is probably part of their job description.. Harry Potter designers this year: Marcos Bessa, James Stephenson, Justin Ramsden, Wes Talbott, Lorraine Faure and Casper Glahder, so I assume it is one of them at least
  13. I for one agree with most of your points WHAT We may even get a reveal of the D2C before the CMF and even the AC, before August is my guess I wonder if Marcos Bessa is the designer or just do the talking as team leader (40-60 I would say)..
  14. Be careful what you wish for Regarding sales of the different sets, it was really unfortunate that the inside tours where cancelled this year. We would have a decent chance to find out what was the 10 top selling sets in 2019, would be really interesting to know if any HP sets where among them
  15. You need a bigger imagination, this is Lego everything is possible The only thing that is certain is that as long as the theme sells enough it will stay in production, just look at SW and Hidden side. SW has been around for over 20 years strait with a crazy amount of sets every year and mostly it is the same sets over and over again in different sizes. HS on the other hand, a theme Lego have probably invested a lot of money and recurses in is apparently axed now because it do not sell enough So far almost everything is indicating that it will be system scale, but no facts has been presented yet... The discussion as far as I understand it is not that we get a $400 D2C this year and add ons in the coming years, but if DA take the same route as Hogwarts. So say the D2C is nanoscale or not happening, would people buy a annual set from DA that include 1-2 shops and is similar to a modular or a winter village set. My opinion is that they most certainly will as long as it is good enough people will buy anything, just look at ninjago city how many people that have no interest in ninjago bought that set. HP on the other hand have a lot of fans that would love a annual set from DA they could collect just like with Howarts. However if they give us the DA now in system scale (like they most likely will) there is probably no need for any DA set for many years (depending what is included)
  16. Welcome How much did the pig cost? I assume you called in to order it? 35 stingrays that was a great bonus
  17. Sorry for being unclear, meant the GH in the D2C Hogwarts since we were compeering scale Personally I would rather have any of the other people Harry meet inside the LC before him I do not think any of the kids in that scene is in the rest of the movie, which is rather strange since they look to be in school age
  18. OK, but still find it unlogical that they are the same scale
  19. That can not be right unless the buildings in DA are like the tent in the quidditch world cup, small on the outside and huge on the inside So far I have not built any of them, but looks like the GWP can fit easily inside the GH alone. It is a great hall for sure, but bigger than a hole street with several buildings?! One of them is Gringotts where they ned carts that speed along miniature train tracks through the bank's underground tunnels to get to the different vaults, meanwhile at Hogwarts the students just walks since it is apparently no need fly a broom to get to class in time The GWP do not have any room for microfigs inside either, but in the Hogwarts it is possible to put several even in the smallest rooms I do not want it to be microfig period and most likely it is not
  20. Well I would not necessarily say that Hogwarts and the GWP is the same scale either Hopefully we will see more minifig leaks soon, if someone that is not a shop owner leaks, maybe with the exception of Hagrid I would say we are pretty close to 95% certainty that it is system-scale
  21. I still think that is like saying we already have a system-scale millennium falcon so we can not get another one; ah hello there MILLENNIUM FALCON I assume they both can be called system-scale, but the size difference is huge The same can happen here, only the underground on Gringotts alone is probably bigger than Hogwarts! However I hope and think it is system-scale I am just playing the devils advocate
  22. I think it is just a estimate! I translated the article from Stonewars and they say they do not know the parts number, but guess it is between 4-5000, then Brick Fanatics quote them and say it will have between 4-5000 parts. If you are in doubt go to the ordinal source I agree that it is not any solid prof just because 2 figs have leaked and I have said the hole time that I do not feel safe until I see a proper picture. However those two figs at least do not increase the chance of a microfig D2C Seems like a odd couple to include if it is not system-scale I would say, but it can of course be Harry and a few shop owners Another sign is that not any microfigs have leaked, but the factory leaks are few and far between now, well at least it is a good omen I really hope it is not modular sized buildings, that would only give us 3-4 buildings tops and they would "waste" a lot of bricks on the back half of the buildings.. If they go that rout they should instead given us a building a year..
  23. Maybe I misunderstand you, but if you split it in two there is only one long street with Gringotts in the middle with shops on either side Just a normal shop size as far as I can see in the movie
  24. This is a basic layout of how I imagine the set will be like. I hope I am right, but most likely its wrong since I usually are surprised at how sets end up looking when I see them However with the fantastic quality of the sets in WW it most likely will be amazing no matter the layout https://ibb.co/G0HWYP9
  25. Depends of course on how it is made so it is possible and I would not mind, but I would not say it is the most likely senario
