  1. As always New Mannum never disappoints. Cheers.
  2. That looks great. Perfect wheel/tire choice. Thumbs up!!!
  3. Its a combination of keeping the price down and wanting to sell more than one set. It would be more realistic for the Maarsk engine to be pulling twice as many cars than have a second engine so two sets is "necessary" if you want a more realistic set-up. Hopefully Lego will see how popular this set is and have additional cars or engines on S@H. Maybe even have a blind cab-less engine as an alternate build.
  4. In either the Maarsk or Emerald Night review threads someone posted a link to a 9V battery adapter. This will significantly reduce the visual size of whats required to power the train.
  5. It's just such a dull looking building. I'd much rather something like the Burj Al Arab.
  6. I'll be disappointed if you don't.
  7. Are you going to have a Billy Ocean minifig?
  8. This really is an excellent MOC, but there really isn't anything that specifically ties it to PQ; unless there is a bunch of stuff going on in the rear (not that there's anything wrong with that :D ). Your Curse of the Mummy is a far better PQ tie-in.
  9. I just scored 8156 and 8143 used for 40USD. Now that's a sweet parts pack.
  10. I agree about that one, but the trees in Medieval Market Village and Log Cabin are good.
  11. You mean a $100 set is better ythan a $30 set? Crazy times.
  12. Green grocer doesn't have a grocery on each level, just the first, and Fire Brigade is only two stories even though its as tall as the three story buildings.
  13. I think its great but one thing bothers me is that it looks like it is on a large body of water. You should make the water look like a stream by adding some of the other side's river bank.
  14. Its not too hard to fit guns on a mini ARC (this is just a modified version of the official model).
  15. While its very nice, I think the alt model is way cooler.
  16. Don't forget to add some depth markers.
  17. Fourth Valentines Day Together
  18. It really depends on how large you want it. The Lego Taj Mahal has a dome, perhaps you can reverse engineer it.
  19. Fantastic.
  20. Studless parts have been available since Technic was called Expert Builder. Studless means that the main beams don't have studs, which that instruction page shows is not the case.
  21. LOL. No, specifically a scene from Bullitt.
  22. I particularly like the mudguards as arches.
  23. Those look great
  24. Dangit, I had an idea of doing something like that.
