The punk rocker being awesome because he is a great detailed figure and also the one figure I needed to complete series 4. The ice skater I really regret opening the bag, I should have been more careful. If I reviewed carefully before opening the bag I would have been able to keep it new and sealed in case I ever find someone that is actually interested in her. I already had that skater and to be honest, two ice skaters is (for me) two ice skaters too many. Furno 2.0 was as disappointing as I thought. I only got him for pieces (in which he does the job) and because 2.0 heroes were discounted. The two blue light sabers and the 2.0 bricks are very appreciated.

Mixed BPs annoy me. I don't really have much money to buy SW and for example last year I only got one Snowtrooper BP, I don't think I would have spent that money on it if it only had two rebels and two snowtroopers. I mean, who wants rebels? They are a tad boring and have funny costumes. You see, whenever there are no 'new' sets we get that complaint. But then TLG try to make a real new set like the Echo Base and everyone starts complaining about how the set was a bad idea and it is not possible to recognize it.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion

Sorry, I saved many things but I didn't pay much attention to it. BTW, it wasn't so clear it was a HF piece, it could as easily be something the superheroes use for transport. We linking to it played a big deal of effect in it getting taken down. :) Well, it is well deserved, the only positive thing to come out of that site is the early images. The rest is just theft. And I doubt the images came so early anyway, I wouldn't be shocked to find more official (but confidential) pictures of next year's sets and the CM6 figures within a mere couple of weeks if not a couple of days. They will not be out of business simply because they can already do rather well without girls and without AFOLs. The outcome will be that they will still fail to get the girls market, as they have continuously done since TLG started making sets.

All right on, that makes sense. In Brickset I could only find a horse rider that had the same uniform but looked like a cyborg because of the excessive articulation and had a very creepy face. I really, really think TLG are making a mistake in not using minifigs. For starters, any girl that is actually attracted to the sets because of their theme will not be able to transition easily to FOL. I also think that not using true minifigures puts LEGO in disadvantage against clones which I think have Hello Kitty and smurfs, if you are going to get a girl theme with no LEGO minifigures you may as well get the licensed ones. Then we have the accessories and bricks not being very useful for AFOLs. I boguht a huge Paradisa bulk the other time because it really has a lot of useful pieces and minifigs. Anyway, at least they do look better than belvile. But that's not an accomplishment.

Now that the site has been killed (well deserved). Here's one another picture I saved: Posting it just in case, it does not match belvile and it looks like the other ones, but the legs are way different.

They don't have the watermark because it is stuff that got leaked from the Chinese factory LEGO uses. It is unlike a retailer catalog LEGO themselves sent to retailers. Sure, that's the reason it was so clear from the beginning that they were ninjago stuff.

That hair really does look like CM hair. It seems that they will be compatible. Unfortunately, they are probably not going to be visually compatible. If you pay attention to the blonde girl, since the head is rounder than minifig heads you can see parts of the hair piece that you should not be able to see. Knowing that site's precedents, it is likely that they used the wrong hair piece. I think that if you take the other hair pieces and try to put them in LEGO minifigs, they may even not fit well because they expect a round head.

Those tails are most likely for Ninjago (Snakemen) -

My conclusion is that the site makes a business to sell leaked LEGO stuff, but their problem is that sometimes they don't really know what goes where. Gives me hope. Most likely the Minotaur will get a cool accessory and hopefully the space woman will get a different gun. -

I didn't say it wasn't legit, I said it was strange, note that he has the Cheerleader's torso. It is a chimera! -
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=10395529016& I tried looking for it in brickset's belVile catalog and I couldn't find it. Plus the style seems slightly different. And this seems to match all the previous information we had about the theme: If this is really one of the figs of the new theme I have to admit that TLG did a good job. At least she looks a lot better than belvile. It is because unlike Belvile, the style is more cartoonish which fits better for a minifig, the scale seems also closer to minifig scale, albeit not the real one. Unless this girl is actually meant as a kid and there are giantic adults in the theme. Edit: Found at the same time as lisqr (images are links):

I think they are legit. It is the same site in from which the first pictures of the collectable minifigs series 6 came from and it is also the place from which I found a couple of head bricks that are clearly from the future buildable super heroes line.

Hello, for the better or worse, a close pic of Lantern and a view of Joker's head... (source)

I was able to find the original Leprechaum, Skater girl, butcher, mechanic and high lander pics in that site. Seems they are all for sale for 59.00 yuans. That site sells some very odd stuff : http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=12464792885& Edit: And I mean, really : http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=10248719680& Among their favorite products are some CM from previous series, but some with swapped/missing accessories / body parts. Also found this: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=10463355020& . That's a strange gun. -

This is exciting! It also means that there is a kind of robot in the way (The other torso). Plus the gun and the laser are great. I am ready to amass these things. Bonaparte: Pics removed on request of LEGO -
Hello, I sighted two jetpacks in brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=480399

uh , Megabloks have been doing them for a while and it their result is awful, I am not sure LEGO can do much better. Do you have information about what themes there will be? I think Ninjago and SW we already knew about , but the others (Ie Alien Conquest and Pharaoh's quest) we are not so sure about. The twist sounds very legit, including Garmadon going good (Rather sounds like an "enemy of my enemy" alliance). Ninjas on vehicles may happen because I guess TLG figured that it is easier to design vehicle variations than even more Dragons.

Pink is the least realistic choice hah. I think those new helmets in red would be very useful, and most of the target demographic would be better off with it. -
It is.

I found dots to be really useless. It is very hard to see them and easy to misinterpret them. On the other hand, feeling the contents of the bags is very easy once you see a good picture of the figures in the series. Back in series 4. I tried to use dots to get hazmats and ketp getting artists . Then I started feeling the contents of the bags and it was fairly quick and easy. I now have four hazmats. -
The comic con green lantern is limited edition. There will most likely be a different green lantern fig that will not be exclusive.

That's just wrong. That implementation is just too intrusive.

Err, each MoCer should decide. GPL is not so great for creative stuff. There are Creative Commons licenses that have copyleft. They could also choose a CC license with no copyleft. Or OPL, maybe. Copyleft has the advantage that if someone makes improvements and distributes the modification then they would also have to share the improvements with the same openness as you did originally. Or they may actually issue licenses that forbid copying, if they want. Then it would actually be a license, but one you yourself invented and probably without formality. The lack of formality threatens to allow people to bypass your wishes. When you do this, then it is assumed that you have default copyright over it.
