  1. I heard it's fun, but no sticking cue sticks up arses during mafia. But I'll play this game.
  2. This seems like a good structure of what we're up against, though I wouldn't be surprised if the recruiters had a weak investigative ability, where the results of the people they investigate is simply "recruitable" or "not recruitable".
  3. It was an attempt at humor. I forgot we're not supposed to have humor here. Now, do you need somebody to pull that cue stick out of your big behind or would you just like a hug, cause you seem pretty mad at everybody.
  4. Do we need to elect a mayor to decide a tie in the vote for mayor??
  5. Unless we choose somebody who isn't recruitable, however so those parameters are chosen... I guess we just have to hope that Cornelius isn't convertible.
  6. Mayor: CorneliusMurdock If he's scum and he gets a townie killed, then it's fair to scrutinize him. You seem persistent in wanting it, which I like (a tactic, as town, I employed in a past mini-mafia).
  7. It might be not too unreasonable to suggest that with the more they recruit, the more they can recruit...if that makes any sense. But that would be more down the road, I would not expect them to be able to recruit more than one person in the first few nights. Another thought, the number of recruitable townies could be quite low, like only 5 of us out of 19-20. I'm pretty confident in voting for Flare after seeing his reply. I just want to know, from Hinck, how he chose Flare. Which, by the way, scary as killers are and they most certainly be dealt with...I feel going after the recruiters (however on earth we can do that) would be a higher priority than a killer. Say if we had a choice from lynching a recruiter and a killer, probably a recruiter would be better. Why? Well, a killer simply kills one of us and we're just down one more person, down one more townie. However, if one of us is recruited, not only are we down one more person, we're going up against one more person. Limiting that ability, I think, would be a better strategy, in whatever way we can accomplish it. Of course, if we catch a killer and there is not a recruiter we've caught, death to the killer, then! There's also always relying on the blocker to block a suspected recruiter/killer, too.
  8. I don't think all the recruiters are able to recruit. Just one a night. Maybe only one of them is a recruiter and the others have investigative roles to find out who is and who isn't recruitable. They may be called Recruiters, but really they're a group of people working to one goal: recruit people. Like wise for the killing side. Each side has roles tailored to their namesakes, including their title roles. I agree that they can probably only recruit one person a night, whether they are 3 or two...I don't know...like I said, plus/minus one person. But that's the number I'd place it at. Around 5-6 scum total. Then there is the psycho, so that's 6-7 non-town folk, at least.
  9. Right. I've usually found that speculating on who killed who isn't overly all that productive...at least on Day One, when we have so little evidence to make a certain match. Speculating on the number of scum is more helpful. My best guess would be that there are 3 guys on both sides. Plus/minus one guy.
  10. I don't trust any of you. Wow oh wow. While we lost two town due to killers last night, we might've also lost another to conversion, unless the recruiters chose the wrong target. So we could've lost three people last night... Hinck, I did it with black backgrounds so I could cut the white out easier. I could've changed it, but too bad . Also, a part of me feels that electing Flare is a scum ploy. It really couldn't be, and it probably isn't, or maybe you'd be unknowingly electing a scum. Or as scum you're choosing a townie to elect. I'm going to stop before it gets too confusing . Anyway, I'm going to wait to hear from Flare before making my choice for mayor, or just go with someone entirely else.
  11. Great, now we're in the realm of WIFOM. I see a younger Dr. Bloodbrick.

  13. Here's what we have so far...I've added in my piece here... I was debating with myself for some time whether I wanted to reveal my piece or not. I agree we need to get them down on the table, but I'm afraid the scum will just keep theirs and take what we have done and have an advantage over town. So I wasn't too eager to reveal it, in a small attempt in keeping an advantage over the scum. I came to the conclusion that revealing my piece was not going to be a deal breaker, though...it's only an "e", hardly a letter to be missed with at the end of a word. This is fun stitching them together, though !
  14. We all must live by the moniker (and acronym, since we all love love love acronyms) ATS. Always Trust Shadows.
  15. Pigs in a blanket! Oh, these delicious little things MUST be served!
  16. I've had a short stroll there. I took careful note of how much it did not smell like flowers. Rose buds nor petunias. But if there's free cake...no, wait, it's all a lieeeeeeeeeee.
  17. The chamber is a far worse place. This place is quite nice. Will there be hors d'oeuvres in this party??
  18. What happened to the visor on my helmet? Why is it broken? At least I know I have dashing eyebrows...sweater's nice, too. Whyyyyyyyyyyy hiya there! What a wonderful situation we're in! Stuck here to kill each other! You all look like a wonderful bunch. Now, it seems like big, 'ol scary Mr. NPC Skullcreepyman (I'm sure that's his name) gave us all rather good bonk. I'm all up for a good bonk, but there's a time and a place! I wonder if anybody here is named Pelly? No? Too bad. Sully? There must be a Sully? No? Such sadness.
  19. Oh, congratulations to the winners! I had, really, no clue on the validity of the cult, if it existed or not...I couldn't help think that Hinck could've been converted, if such a cult existed What an exciting and successful game this turned out to be. Well done DD for your first ga,e and thanks so very much, again, for the cameo. It was a great joy/laugh to see . Presentation was great and the comic format was so very well done. The mechanics looked interesting, they must've been a nightmare to try and figure out during the game, but now they seem, for the most part, simple and well done. Wish I didn't have to miss this one, hopefully I'll be able to catch your next game!
  20. I promise to not try and recruit/kill a NPC I'll sign the contract.
  21. I'll wait for The Pearl 2.0 !
  22. Oh, this sounds fun! I hope to have a chance to build something for all these cool contests!
