Your first statement does not connect with your second. I know I'm recruitable, first statement debunked. I'm probably one of the randomly selected people to be recruitable, second statement affirmed. You'll see in the morning. It's a fact. Use this "knowledge" to the town's advantage, people. Thank goodness the dead can't be converted. Or can they?
  2. Yeah, I understand what you're getting at. It's very cutthroat, but, meh, what can you do. Things snowball quickly. Or something like that.Well, seeing that there's nothing more to say to save myself, I suppose it's alright to say that I'm one of the recruitable townies, so that made arguing for my survival more conflicted and difficult, since I know I can't be trusted always in case I get recruited. Well, at least recruited to the scum. I hoped to get recruited into the masons, but that's a long shot now. At least it's a loss to both teams and not just town. I at least deprive the scum a chance to recruit me over and add a number to their side.
  3. For the lie detector: I am scum. Scummy scum scum. Oh, wait, there probably isn't a lie detector. If it was a one shot, I would expect for such info coming from that to be revealed. Since I'd expect it to be used the first night and not risk it being lost like last time. Maybe it died with Danny again
  4. I dislike this reasoning. I understand it, but when you're town, it's such a sucky reason to ultimately exit the game with. Like, if you're not sure, shouldn't you give it more time to be more certain? This is why more town get lynched. Add in the threat of conversion and paranoia goes rampant, but there are the masons this time around to deal with that. If there's so much confusion on me, then why lynch me? If there's doubt, then don't, and there has been doubt and several people have mentioned that. You're losing a townie here. I'd go to someone who didn't have so much doubt, not stick with someone in messy controversy.Also, a majority has been reached? Do you not realize that there isn't a majority in this game?

  6. Well, that's not a very wise reason, especially when the person you're voting for you think is town. If I was in your position, I'd vote for Nightshroud, not because of new evidence against him, but because I don't think the leading candidate is scum, and by going nappy with such a vote, without chance to change it, is weak, and a fright bit suspicious. In my opinion, better to vote in who I believe is most likely scum and not the guy I don't and then leave it to be. That's suspicious, in mine eyes.Also, beyond my death, I would analyze those who stayed a good distance from me. I'm sure that either all the scum avoided me or there's one or two that is enjoying strafing runs at me. The later more likely, especially now (though Danny also proves it).
  7. Holy balls, the paranoia here is madening (given the set up, it's pretty understandable, but wow). You'd give me too much credit if this was me so clever as a scum...What am I to do in the face of such paranoia, such WIFOM? I foresaw this earlier and knew that it would only lead down the same, predictable, hateful path. Well, I guess there's some things you can't change, and opinions are...well, this is the internet, what'd I expect? Well, let's mop up whatever still interests me. Well, god, there is just no pleasing anybody/everybody/somebody. Faced with this from players, it's no wonder how defeatist the accused can be. I got a good morale rally from a good person, that's why I suddenly care again. Zepher, I see your little mention of Capt. Redblade (who I find a tad suspicious, he hasn't had much to say poking around). It's less a poke than your vote against me and only used the names of those said before. I feel there are other lurkers around, you don't seem to be living up to the "Crusade against the Quite Folk" that you were pushing for in the beginning. I don't have a lot of time to reply to comments at the moment, and I cannot guarantee that I can provide a strong analysis, but I find that the reason to vote for me because I cannot provide an analysis, a suspicion (which I have, Li'l BoyWonder, I'm looking at you...Zepher, please come up with the other quite folk you were crusading against...please...) is a cop out. I've told you before that I cannot pull such information today, it's not within my means, and to deny that fact is to not believe in second chances. Am I the one that got away? I asked that before and nobody answered. Nobody. Had somebody did, I probably would have replied metagaming. I know by lynching me you'll understand who I am, but I can think of other ways to find that out, that doesn't involve my death, which would be a loss. At this point, it's my opinion (biased or not) that there's more to learn by lynching somebody else (BoyWonder, for example) than myself.
  9. First, my apologies, especially to CMP, you're just doing your job. I did not want to quit the game, I just wanted space from the accusations. My mistake was not taking your vote more seriously. I thought it more to be those kind of votes you make to just get quieter people to talk a bit more, then you move on to the next person, not a serious case that I would have taken more seriously were it not made at the half of Day One. It was my expectation that my reply would satisfy that, but that nobody went to any other quiet folks annoyed me. Wrong mindset, my mistake. I felt an aggressive attitude about the case (and especially when you said "nope, not changing my vote"). Then everything looked aggressive to me, which I thought shouldn't happen because anybody on day one is antsy and when pushed, they're not going to react well, especially if they haven't gotten into the groove of the game yet, which is difficult on the first day; for example: darkdragon in The Forest 2. She was pushed and she was lynched because of her reaction and came up a townie. This is what tends to happen and it's only the lesser chance that we hit a scum on Day One. This is, like, the curse of Day One. On the fact of those who bothered to make a case, I don't find it entirely unreasonable that a scum might want to do that. Li'l Trumpet was town and Li'l Pandy didn't get any retribution, being the person who started the case against him. There's not as much risk in lynching a townie (if done right, which with high skill, I think, is possible) as one might think. I'm not saying Li'l Pandy is scum for lynching a townie, it's just an example. So then, I don't think it was entirely unreasonable to be suspicious of any cases made, especially when you see that a town member slips up (like me, being quiet) and becomes an easy target for a scum to set up. In this set up it's a little more riskier for scum to do, but it's still a good way for scum to see the reaction of the people they accuse and begin the process of uniting the two teams. I didn't want to tell my tactic so quickly, but I panicked and hoped it would be a suitable explanation of why I was not so vocal the first half of Day One, but it didn't work. When that didn't work, I had nothing to go back to because that's all I had I don't know why you need to point out that I poked fun at Li'l Peanuts, that honestly should be a non-matter. I do believe there is a separation of "for fun" posts and "discussion" posts in the game, so I don't see why that should be put against me (as was the same for my "obligatory Big Cam post"............). For Zepher, I got annoyed that he was only suspicious of me. He hadn't gone to "anyone relatively inactive", still hasn't (unless I missed so today). Someone in his position, I should think, would be able to call out multiple inactive people at the same time, but it was just me. I took his vote against me as only a copy of yours, nothing more. Again, my mistake in not taking it as seriously, but I believe in your vote more (whatever that means) than his. The logic is that a scum wouldn't vote for his own team member. I don't think I've ever seen that happen in a game before, so I wouldn't expect that to be the case, thus Danny, my "team member" would not have voted for me. That was not meant as an accusation of "just choosing out a quiet townie", but rather as a "your case is looking as ridiculous as Danny's". It was a pretty scummy thing for Danny to vote for the player (who he chanced at as town) with the second highest vote count. I'm not Danny, so whatever I say is theoretical and hardly conclusive, but just my humble opinion on the matter (no bias that it's because he voted for me ) I thought I had explained my actions, my reasoning, enough and so I told what I could offer as an explanation of that. When the accusations kept coming in, I didn't have much to turn to except onto the accusations themselves. I'll admit that I narrowed myself quite a lot with these accusations and just put me in a position with my back against the wall, in a corner...over a death trap...with poisonous snakes and spikes and scum. I based my entire defense on the truth, like last time. I told the truth (as best I can, while in a conflict with what I can do in this game with out completely negating its effectiveness) and thought that to be my defense, and it still is.I can still think of reasons that my living on would be beneficial. To point them out would be to negate them. It doesn't, and hardly does (that I can recall), work that a heavily accused person successfully pointed out someone else suspicious enough to lynch. Lynches turn around, but hardly ever by the accused's actions. It's my opinion that I cannot offer someone more suspicious than I. I'm on the hot seat, I focus on that burning sensation first before I try and grab somebody, anybody to take my place. Under the point of the gun, anybody is worth grabbing to replace you. The worst part is that your judgement is impaired since there is a gun in your face, metaphorically. Which is why I asked that you yourselves do that instead of just looking so sternly at me as my eyes shift side to side, anxious, under such hot pressure. I'm just a wit'l beaver boy scout, mister ! No, I don't subscribe to such notions, never have, please understand this. I've tried so, it never worked for me (case in point what happened in this game).
  10. Things just didn't work out. I got picked out before I had a chance to really contribute to things and I had to focus on that. I didn't handle it well, and that's regrettable. But now, it's gotten to the point where I respect myself enough to not get so stressed over an online game...especially what I went through last time, which was not too long ago. I needed to release from the situation and do what I still can for my team before I go. It's dumb, but it's the right thing for me to do at this time. Not build a defense that I'll probably screw up and get stressed out over it.

Honestly, about 20 hours from my last post and there's just been Hinck while the rest of you wait on me, when I said I wouldn't talk anymore. Don't wait for me, I have nothing more to say about the past. Plus, it's doubtful that anything else I'm going to say will be satisfactory to everybody, so why bother? It didn't do any good before, I have great doubt it'll have any now. I know what happens in these situations (of course it'd be my preference to continue living, however that may be achieved), so why stress about it? Hakuna Matata. Oh, I should vote, too. Vote: Li'l BoyWonder He hasn't addressed anybody's suspicions against him, and I just find his posts odd.
  12. This is not true, absolutely not, not one bit. This is what annoys me so much. Statements such as this. (And the one Zepher said "quote me one contribution you've given" which he implies I've not given any at all, which I think I have). I've addressed comments, then they are not really, truly, taken in...then, and just then, I begin guilting my accusers, because I feel it justified, though regrettably harsh at times. Au revoir, I'm tired of this. I'm not dealing with accusers anymore, I've had enough. Honestly. I'm just going to sit back, get lynched, and try and do some behavior analysis on anybody that warrants it, if time permits for me. This Boy Scout beaver has snapped, strong enough to chomp a tree down with one bite.

I applaud you on your efforts to not be a sheep.All I ask is you also scrutinize other people, it's tunnel vision if you are, indeed, focusing on one person, even if you believe you have a case, or not. I feel like I've been the only person under scrutiny thus far today, strong scrutiny, I really do not want to be the lynch today as one of the cases (underneath other, smaller accusations). I'll go (I'm sure my death will bring at least some information)' but I'll be damned if I go down like Li'l Trumpet and not have other serious contenders for tomorrow. Don't put it on me to do that, I'll try and do my part, but I'm also concentrated with my accusers and real life, my mind is not in the best analytical mood right now, I hope you do understand.
  14. If you were focusing on me, you seemed to...not...do that anymore at the end of the day. I don't get it. You believe you have a case, so you want to follow up on it, yet you're saying you were deciding to follow up on it or not. Your decision has come to the conclusion of: "yes, I will follow up on that" after I called you out on it? Would you had I not? I really hope this is not becoming like another Day Two affair like in the original EB mafia. Really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really do.

  16. Thanks for cherry picking that. I put in all my posts thus far, and I, in the next sentence, marked that that quote was fluff. I said it myself. Please read my post more carefully before you cherry pick something in the tunnel visioned pursuit of me. Also, glad that you're coming out with a "renewed" case, only after I called you out on dropping away. Plus, what more is there to say that isn't just going to be repeating yourself? I've replied to the scrutinization against me, I don't feel anybody being open to it, just more scrutiny. I would say "potato" and you would find a reason to use that as a reason that I'm scum. That's a hyperbole, but its point stands. Smug, crass remarks from CMP and Zepher here. You guys seem to be enjoying bullying me (it's a school, yeah?). You guys are making me not want to reply to you. You hadn't decided on whether to follow up in a case that you started? That you said you wouldn't change your vote over? Nuh-uh, that you follow up on. Not "decide to".
  17. Oh, that's an interesting possibility. It's partly based off of metagaming, but it's possible. To which is more likely, I wouldn't know. I'm not exactly sure how "my recruiting team" might have found it beneficial to recruit the person accusing me, because I can only see complications rising from that and I'm not sure what benefit there is. I don't think the reasons for Danny's death are so unclear (at least from the vig's viewpoint). Danny did get a couple votes yesterday, so it's not like there wasn't reason to suspect him, and thus kill him. I'm not exactly sure why the scum would kill Danny, he doesn't seem to be that good a target for them. Well, when I was writing my post, the page got refreshed and I lost it (I was on my mobile), which did address more Li'l Rick's points, I guess when I retyped it I got lost on a tangent (I did re-write the bottom paragraph first before re-writing the first, which was the one that referred Rick's points). Then I went to class (we're in school, remember ?). Even then, I addressed his "conversion" point, and I alsoo addressed (though not as directly as before) his point that Danny's death does not mean anything for me. One sentence I forgot to put back in was something like "Yeah, I don't expect that Danny's death clears me, I recognize the two scum team duality, so that only leaves as not on one scum team". What I seem to be getting from most people is that they leave out the option where I'm town (especially what I got from Rick's post) who's trying to explain himself, but ends up getting misread or I was not able to convey my point of view (as a townie, through and through; not as a scum with a townie perspective, but as a member of the town, who has had to put down any scummy appearance [which I was attempting to do in the beginning, or at least sow the seeds of it; to which it seems to worked quite well because I'm being so well scrutinized]). On my comment of Danny: I was happy to see a dead scum the first night. I read his vote against me, but it was basically the same as what others have said before, I did not feel like repeating myself for it; I went to bed because I didn't want to get stressed by typing yet another defense. I thought his case was ridiculous then and just as ridiculous now. I literally went "WTF" when I read it. From my perspective, you'd know this to be true. I think that covers Rick's points. Please let me know if I missed anything. Day one: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 Day two: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Here are my contributions so far this game, mainly consisting of: fluff (everybody is guilty of that) [1,(2) 2, 3], my input/opinion on how things are/what might've happened/my own opinions [2, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11,(2) 1, 6] and defending myself [3, 4, 6, 8, (2) 4, 5]. On top of real life work, defending myself, and not be an obsessive, over-stressed hover player, yeah, I wasn't able to provide many in depth, detailed analysis. Sorry about that. Now it's my turn to accuse you of being someone of "broad strokes". So far, your case against me was basically of what was said before (primarily by Li'l CMP) (and can be said of Danny's case) and you had not indicated any suspicions against me before (except "Let's get the quiet folks!" But you seem to just be focused on me...so, so much for "folks". A comparison: CMP Zepher ). So far, it's my belief that you have been somewhat broad in your accusation and somewhat tunnel visioned (as I feel a lot of people, not just those accusing me, are doing). Tell me, specifically, why you think I should be lynched. That seems to be your goal, I haven't seen much evidence (this is for most people accusing me) of seeing both sides of the picture. I may be bitter and angry, but it's really me stressing over what I think is going to be a tunnel visioned lynch, not a simple "I'm going to vote for you because you're quiet." [i reply] "Oh ok, to the next quiet guy". Go point out those guys before coming back to me, because you're on a goose-chase with me. I'm not at all surprised that there was a scum (assuming he was not converted and then killed) among those who voted for/accused me, I wouldn't be surprised if there was another. One thing that interests me is that my original accuser Li'l Pie, isn't following up on his suspicion against me. He made his case, I gave my reply, he replied "My vote stands", and hasn't touched on his suspicions against me, even today. With a vote like that, I'd think he'd keep better track of it. Doesn't seem like that to me. Maybe behind the scenes, but not in the thread. Let me ask. Are you (all) harping on me because you don't want to feel "he's the one we let away"? I've not forgotten about Li'l BoyWonder, but I've typed long enough for the moment.
  18. Yes, greatest weapon that also leads to town deaths. Not all scrutiny is good scrutiny, or rather, scrutiny risks becoming tunnel vision and we risk losing things we don't want to lose, such as town members, like me. From my point of view, it's unreasonable (or almost so). That is what I'm thinking now on those questioning me. Don't mistake that in me thinking that all scrutiny is unreasonable.
  19. Uhm, no. Not that this implies I am scum either. It only ensures that I'm not on his team. Thanks for leaving out the option that I might be town. Furthermore, weren't there several people who said that they were convertible yesterday? I may be mistaken, but they'd be more likely targets than I for conversion (though not to forget the possibility of watching, but there's still the chance that the scum would choose the least likely choice to be watched). To continue on that thought, the only reason (the most logical to me, anyways) that Danny voted for me was because I already had 3 votes against me. It was his attempt to put more heat on me so that I would be put under further scrutinization today, and it seems to be working. I hope to extinguish that because, and I give you my word, I'm as green today as I was yesterday. Doesn't that sound more likely? More logical than your "ifs"?You must understand that as a townie, I'm a bit annoyed that some of these behavior analysis are incorrect, in that I am doing things to fool you (I.e., "He's playing with the make fun of Lil' Nutty Nut..."), when they are, in fact, genuine. After my last stress-filled schoolyard game, I made it a point to relax more this time around (nor does this mean I will not do my job to get scum, as some of you think. Thanks for your wonderful insight into my own mind, I truly did not know what it held). From my perspective, this is becoming a game of scapegoat, and it's becoming to get to the point where there's nothing I can do to convince you. No, I do expect to be scrutinized and I do welcome it, but then it gets to the point where it's unreasonable scrutiny.

Apparently I didn't fulfill the 10,000 word quota Seriously, is there anything I can do that's not just going to be misperceived by others and this guy who says he wants to go after the quiet folks but doesn't actually bother to name them? You're starting to look like Danny's last minute vote.

  23. Ha, I knew Li'l Danny's case against me was bull. Well, good for his death, then. I don't think this was mentioned, but it's possible both the vig and scum targeted the same player. But if a blocker did block the right person (or they blocked the vig, perhaps) I hope they deal with it properly so that we may get a scum, or not inadvertently lose the vig. Also not to mention that the recruiters might've been successful in their namesake last night. Hopefully not, but worst case scenario, we're equal numbers today than yesterday. Congratulations to the Mayor, Li'l Corny, for not dying on the first not !
