Eurobricks Mafia Day Two: Moonlight Medicine
Scouty replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Because I'm upset with you and I'm getting tired of this happening to me. I thought I could change it, especially in this structure of a game, but I was dead wrong. I'd have done this through PM, out of respect, but since you didn't bother to reply to me, really, last night, that only left me to rant about you to the public. This is all your doing. Tammo: Occam's Razor is one of Hinck's favorite things. Interesting you bringing it up. Because I didn't only think you were scum. I thought you could have been town too. You declared it yourself "I'm not scum!" Well, that doesn't exactly say "I'm town!" I shared what did to confirm my story. Making up role claims is something I've never done, really. The truth is best. This is all the truth. You say you're not "scum", okay...I'm beginning to think that the psycho killer is indeed, you. Especially after your discussions with Darkdragon, you could have easily offed her. I don't know, that's just one conclusion I'm coming to. There's several that I could come to, as well. But psycho killer is beginning to make sense around your behaviors. -

I imagined things to be so very complicated. That there was more than meets the eye. Tell me it's not worth trying? And with a role like mine. A weak doctor, what does that entail? What does that tell? Probably, but it's a risk I was willing to take. I expected Hinck to think better of me. That I'd be so obvious and stupid. I'm offended and it makes me think he's just being manipulative now and using it against me. I would think that Hinck would take more caution with this than he has. Well, it's not your typical role. This is not your typical game, either. So, I don't know Could be? I don't really understand the role (or I'm just over thinking it) and felt that it was not my place to ask for clarification. It's not just a claim, it's the truth. If I am to die, you will realize all of the truth that I have been talking about. I don't know about a day killer, because I haven't seen evidence of that, so don't hold that to me. All I know is what I've said here, and what I've said is all true. That would be the same, dull townie approach I was talking about earlier. If you're not blabbing, you're insinuating. I've been through this with Hinck and he guessed I was the protector in Ragnarok. I can't blab, I can't insinuate, so let's try scummy, huh? -

I send in a name of who I want to see at night. I've only been told that I was blocked; I never got anything back for my seer submission of shadows. There's no other details that I can offer you, since I don't know of anything more than this. I pretty much said what I was told. Because you have to take risks to get somewhere. I wasn't just going to lie back and do nothing. I was being ballsy. I had little clue if he was scum or town. What if he was scum and I approached him in a townie way? The same, dull, typical town approach one would always make? Yawn. Plus, I was not keen to blab my role so randomly to someone who I don't know if they're town or scum. In this game, the scum approach is the better option. Well, not anymore, now, though.I'll tell you this. This is telling me a lot more about Hinckley than if I had done nothing. It's not a whole lot more, but it's certainly behavior that I can analyze. No longer is there a haze around Hinck for me. Now there's just very strong polar opposites. -

Oh, god, you're such a twat, Hinckley. If you're not, then you're scum. Twaty scum. That's what it is and that's what it was with the watcher. An attempt to infiltrate scum. The watcher, unlike Hinckley, is much more sensible to actually listening to me instead of going "LALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU, LALALALA" Here's a very summarized version of events: Hinck and I are talking about the day and such, bla bla bla, before yesterday night and all. He asked me, several times, about the different MOs/killers. I gave him my reply, which I thought they were different people (but I can't be sure, because I have no bloody clue). Next he tells me that the town blocker contact him and told him that he (the blocker) blocked me night zero. That is certainly true (so I can at least be sure that a blocker contacted him, can't be sure if he's town or not, but he knew I was blocked, and so did I). Back track a little here. In the middle of the beginning of the day, the watcher contacts me, asking me why he saw me targeting shadows. I'm not so keen to tell him my role right away, that would be typical and could possibly get me killed, did I know if he was really the watcher or not then? No, not at all. Anyway, I thought I'd play on it and be totally vague about it. In all honesty, everything I said is with town perspective. The friends I refer to? Just other town folk. Not bloody scum, I don't want to be their friends. As you can see, the watcher and I came to a sort of calm understanding. We can work this out slowly and the hope is that we become friends or I catch him as scum. That's all what my intentions were. Fast forward again, Hinck comes forward with the town blocker (not in name, no clue who he is), and with the recent discussion with the watcher and how my "vague" tactic worked then, I decided to do it with Hinck too. But, no, Hinck's a twat, he panics and immediately thinks I'm scum. I knew he'd blab this out and I told him not to be hasty, he'd ruin it all. The twat. He blabbed and ruined it all. Good job. You know what I was doing? I was being scummy. ON PURPOSE. That's what we're supposed to do in this game. Not to look all happy dappily doo and explain "Oh, look at me, I'm so towny, TOWNY TOWNY TOWNY". No, we all have to be a little scummy to make things interesting. I was hoping to make friends. Here on my sides were the watcher, the town blocker, and Hinck. That's a pretty good list of friends there. It was my hope to keep it quiet so that we could work freely without raising suspicion of scum. But do you know who doesn't like to play that game? Hinck doesn't. Hinck time and again has outed me in past lives and never once was I scum. I'm still not scum. I hoped this time would be different, he wouldn't out me so quickly like before. How wrong I was , the twat I am. I hoped to build a good relationship of friends here, but any hope of how I imagined it to be is totally ruined now that I have to lay it out so that the town doesn't lynch me. I'm the seer. I see who is going to die in the day and I can prevent their death. It's a night action that is effective the next day. I really don't know what exactly this entails. I targeted Hinck the first night, but I was blocked, and then I targeted Shadows the following night, which I was successful, and I'm sure he can attest to you that he wasn't converted, at least not through my hands. I really don't know if there's a day killer or not, I wanted to ask friends about it and help me understand it... I really didn't want to tell him my role. But I also really wanted him not to BLAB OUR CONVERSATION OUT BECAUSE HE MAKES CONCLUSIONS TOO QUICKLY. Uhm, oh . So I compromised with myself and hoped that by telling him the truth, he'd finally get some sense in him. But he's a twat and blabs anyway. Doesn't do his "verify, verify, verify". Barely makes any effort to verify me. He just...blabs. Everything I'm saying is the truth. Like I told the watcher, like I told Hinck, if they outed me I would tell the truth. I have not lied. I only used ambiguity to infiltrate potential scum. Guess I can't use that anymore . I'm a fool and he's a fool (or scum). I hate to be so rude about it, but I expected so much more cooperation. The worst part is...is that I think he's town. In all this ordeal, it's a somewhat logical conclusion to reach to. Still, I also think he's being manipulative and throwing my infiltration attempt back in my face. As a true test if I was scum or not (I considered keeping with the idea that I was scum, but I ended up choosing to tell the straight truth, that I'm the seer; I don't know, if I had kept up with the scum front would I have passed his test? Is he really just testing me?) -

I agree, voting to even the vote out has always been, in my view, a silly tactic to do. If the vote is evened out, then all it takes is one precarious vote to misdirect the lynch. -

I've been on set all day long...uhm...on my phone....while I was in the corner....so I'm super tired, so forgive me I if I don't think straight. Anyway, I just wanted to say, that my suspicion still holds on JimButcher, I'm also interpreting his latest comment about not being sure about flare or whoever the other guy was (trumpetking??) as rather on the fence and somewhat scummy. I'm sorry to keep harking at you, but these are what I'm getting from you. Maybe I'm tunnel visioning , maybe I'm right... On the case of Flare, he probably would make a decent lynch candidate...not sure if I'd place my non-existent vote on him though. Dark dragon, I agree, has been acting a bit odd, but I haven't keeping up with that argument well enough to get a reading on her. Trumpetking is in the same boat as Flare, but that may just be because he won the card game (but of course of other reasons stated.) on that against Hinckley, he has had a very different game this time around...but I can't tell as to what that means for his alliance. In the end, my non-existent vote would go to JimB, Flare, Trumpet, DD, then Hinckley, in order of who I suspect the most (taking into account those who have been voted for/discussed about). -

If Hinck and Darkdragon voted for Flare at very close times...I don't know what you're trying to insinuate here. If they were on the same team, I doubt they'd both make the post. I also doubt they're disorganized enough to make such a mistake. In fact, it seems like it's a genuine offering of a mayoral vote. I don't know if that says anything about allegiances, biting doubt it's nothing more than coincidence. -

We're not trying to find what the puzzle said No, a handful of people wanted to see if people would be lying about having pieces or not when solving the puzzle. They seem to have dropped that idea, so I wanted to see it through that we do our original intentions and not simply forget about it just because its been solved. -

Well, it's just an assumption that whoever comes forward is not likely to be scum, since a scum would not want to reveal to anybody that they got it. Besides pointing out for the scum of who not to target (which is still a very narrow margin for them to hit anyway), I don't see, from a townie perspective, the harm a town member would have stepping forward. So I assumed that if nobody comes forward, the scum must've gotten it. Not that anybody who steps forward is cleared, there'd still be some suspicion. It was an idea and now that it's been laid out, it looks like it's not going to work. I still think we should assemble the puzzle, it takes no effort for people to copy and paste their puzzle pieces into the thread or say a few simple pixels worth of "I don't have a puzzle piece". I'll assemble the puzzle, I'll waste my own time, maybe I'll find something. This is something that is going to take no effort on everybody's part. -

I'm more interested now in who had pieces than the answer of the question. Completing the puzzle would allow us to make a complete list of who had and who didn't have a puzzle piece and, minus cecilie's piece, we should be able to complete it, unless somebody is lying about not having a piece. Beyond that, we can analyze the list and maybe come to some conclusions from it. It is, after all, what we aimed to do with this puzzle, to see who would and who wouldn't give their pieces. There may be something to learn from such a tool and asking everybody to give their pieces now is one way to do it. I see how somebody could have gotten it from piratedave's deductions...or maybe just got it n their own...it's tough to tell what really happened. Would it be beneficial to ask whoever got the question right to reveal themselves?? It's not like they can be killed immediately and it's nothing really incriminating. As much as I can see, a townie would have no problem revealing that he/she was the one to answer the question. It would also answer our curiosities whether a scum or a townie got the immunity. -

I share with your sentiment that its probably best to put all the pieces on the table. The scum may or may not have released their pieces. I still wonder how somebody solved the question when the puzzle from the thread was still rather vague. I held onto my piece because I wanted to try and have an advantage over the scum, but I looked at my piece later on and it turned out to be quite the useless piece in the puzzle, so I thought I'd share it, plugged in with the other pieces I assembled, just to help anybody else... Anyway, I found your comment suspicious because it seemed to me, at the time, like something a scum would say in this circumstance. It's also clear that you were sticking around to try and solve the puzzle, too. It's really behavior of both town/scum, but something to me feels that it's scummy and odd. I'd probably place my vote on you if I had one to place (Banana Sphinx!!!!). I could be wrong, but its better to out my suspicions now (especially without the backing of my own vote) and see if anybody else agrees or disagrees with it. I'd like to point out that Cecilie made a comment yesterday about her withholding a piece. I wonder if that had any influence in a killer's choice of her death? She was town and was held onto her piece to her last breath. I don't know how much we can take from this puzzle, but I guess now its been solved, everybody should post their pieces so we can complete the puzzle. -

Uhm, I think we should lynch Banana Sphinx because he said he was a wise man, but all he is is a casino owner taking our votes away. I think that makes him really, really suspicious and we should...uhm...lynch him for his treacherous deeds. I don't think that gambling is a very wise thing and he tricked us into this game and made mean, mean faces at us during the game. If I had my vote I'd vote for him. I hope you do too. Another person I found to be suspicious is JimButcher, who took care to point out that the people who didn't post their pieces would be suspicious. I found it a bit suspicious of him to be pointing out this fact, and, I think, would be a good statement for a scum to make. I just thought I'd tell my thoughts as voting comes near and since I lost my vote, I'd like it to be known who I would have voted for. That would be Banana Sphinx. -

I don't know how they would be able to confidently figure that Cecilie wasn't the scum opposite in just night 0. It seems entirely too soon to make that call. If anything it was probably a shot out of the dark...You could be right, but I think there's not enough time to make that call.
