Vote for your favourite Category B entries
Athos replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Again, I'm going to give three votes for me, # If that's not allowed or is tacky, I'll vote for: #11 Ninja & Karate (I like the gate and landscaping here) #12 Diver & Surfer (this is my favorite entry) #24 (the build isn't that great, but the idea is super) As before, since I'm an entrant, I wouldn't usually vote, but I want a chance to win a figure... I'm going to give three votes to myself #34... If that's tacky or not allowed, I'm going to vote for: #23 Vampire #25 Mexican #36 Vampire Since I'm in the contest, I wouldn't usually vote, but I want a chance to win another figure... Steve -
Well... I thought it was only pretty good from the first picture. Then when I saw the interior, I was blown away. My only suggestion is it needs some furnishings in the interior; pews, pulpit, altar, etc. Great work! Steve

Man, Aragog is terrible. Steve

The tent is a little too cube-y. If you could slope the walls a bit, I think it would improve 100%, if not more. Everything else looks good. For the photo editing, I'd make those columns lego too. Steve

Oh no, there's paper. You just can't see it from that angle. It shows up in the gallery. I agree the toilet is too high, but couldn't come up with a way to make it lower. Steve

"I'm going to Bovine University when I grow up" Nice MOC. I really like the pigs decorating the front. And the guts all over the floor. Though I'm not sure they'd let a slaughter house into a Cafe Corner style neighborhood. Steve

Most people prefer them the way you have them in the picture. I generally go the other way, just because I like the position of the utensil they are holding better with the hand upside down. If they're not holding anything, they're usually upside down, since that's how they came from the factory or how I positioned them when they were holding something. Its really not something I pay much attention to. Steve

Nice MOC. Though I'm not sure how practical the entry way is. Who wants to haul bags of grain up that ladder and then haul bags of flour back down? Steve

Not to get off topic, but did you see anything for Castle or any other historical theme? Steve -
In the basic elements, what is the difference between 5 & 6? Also, looking at #2 they call dark green transparent brown? I also don't think that 5 votes is enough. Especially with all the choices and variation among the parts. For example, I would like to see the leaf pieces in fall colors, though I don't have much of a preference between, red, orange, brown. And I don't have much preference on the particular leaf piece. Though I do think getting only one size in one color would be kind of useless... Same issue on the hair pieces. I'd love to see them in new colors (particularly in white or greys), but I don't have that much of a preference on which hair piece gets the elderly treatment. Its also hard to keep track of your votes and not submit more than 5. Nonetheless, I still think it is very cool that we get to have some say in the new colors... Steve

How about a flickr gallery? I guess I forgot to do that... Steve
