I have a Lego room. Once I get it all set up the way I want, I'll share some pictures. Steve

Thanks everyone! I had a pretty good day and even got some Lego: Rise of the Sphinx, the Ninjago Dojo and the Creator Cabin! Steve

I think it has to be something more than this. Why put all the suspense and intrigue over some new pictures? Those are usually uncermoniously posted and then deleted in threads. It's got to be something more. I don't think such a MOC for such a topic would warrant front page news. I'm guessing its some kind of action theme contest or themed month they're getting everyone psyched up for? Steve

OK, lets make some observations A. The figures 1. The Pharaoh's Quest guy's face is wrong. Maybe an oversight on ISC's part, but possibly significant. Especially as everything else is right. 2. Diver Chick looks to be right, but its from the older release wave. 3. The skeleton is clearly meant to be from Castle, since he's holding the flail. If he was supposed to be ninja-go a samurai sword would have been used. 4. The bases are probably just there to hold up the figures, though it might be significant. The Question Marks 1. The colors have to be significant, as evidenced by the stud tile used on the dark brown. If the color's weren't important, ISC would have used a color with the proper parts. Alternatively, the stud is important? Overall 1. 3 figures, 3 question marks, 3rd month of the year? 2. Must be something to do with the action themes given the posting location. What does it mean? I have no idea. Steve

I'm not complaining. Though I'm not sure how I like their look, I have enough yellow hands to replace them. I was just curious if I got lucky, or if everyone got brown. Steve

I snagged the Cursed Cobra Statue at a recent TRU sale and put it together last night. My Helena figures hands were brown, but the box, instructions and inventory all showed yellow. I was wondering if anyone else got brown hands. The brown also looks a little off to me, though that may be because I've not seen many hands in brown. Steve

'Flagship' Minifigs in collectible packets?

How do you figure? Maybe the one in the middle of the group shot on the bag? I seem to recall for series 1, Lego did a poll on their website and the ninja was the most popular. Steve -
El Bricko MOC - Peoples choice award

Lovely work. Nice to see that Wild West still has fans. Steve -
I really like this set. It is one of my absolute favorites of the Star Wars line. I like the different play areas and scenes. The figures were nice too. And, as far as I know, its the only set to have yellow and brown figures living together in peace and harmony. It was definitely worth the $100 when it came out. And looking at your review, it makes me want to buy the Death Star playset. Steve

That is super cool. There are some great pictures there. The field of flowers was really pretty. Steve

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
Athos replied to eiker86's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Funny how as soon as I get a series completed, they come out with pictures of a new one. Within days of getting series 1, series 2 pictures were leaked. Within days of getting series 2, series three was leaked. I just got series three last weekend. This time, however, they are two series ahead. Steve -
Time Cruisers isn't all that bizarre. It just has crappy set design. Ninjago's skeleton riding a chopper bike in (what I presume) is feudal Japan. That's bizarre. Steve

Rather striking how all three entries were train stations... I really like the corners of the first entry. The dark orange is a nice color for the second. And the wall textures of the third is very nice. Congratulations to the winners! All are very worthy winners. Steve

I got this set for Xmas. Finally put it together. I really liked the set. Though there are some parts that don't feel complete. Like the open pit on the bottom right. A 6x6 plate would have made this a lot better. And the snake pit thing also seems like an after thought. I wish the stickers were printed too. But even with all that, I still like the set. The figures are really nice, particularly the Anubites. Steve

It'd be cool if they released a special limited edition #13. If I had any power miners, I bet I could write a cool story to explain the missing man. Rock-monster/human hybrid, anyone? Steve

Man, Lego has hit a homerun with these sets! The mill is great. The carriage and blacksmith are very good. I can hardly wait for these sets! Steve

This is my first attempt at a large battle scene. Be sure to click through the flickr gallery to see all the details. Steve

I don't know the story/rationale behind them. They came with the first run of HP sets. I think I got mine from Walmart. The one with the bed has an interesting cloth piece for canopy bed. Steve
